I would rather characterize the Germanic character traits as both useful as well as dangerous - it is the strong desire to stick to rules and authority. The Swiss are even worse in that respect of people who love to stick to even the most idiotic rules. Austrians are a bit more lax in that respect.

Completely agree about the Swiss being worse and the Austrians being a lot more relaxed. I personally really enjoy spending time in Austria, not only for the beautiful landscapes and the mountains but even more so the people.

Also, when talking about kicking down and kissing up I was intentionally not referring to wealth because you're absolutely spot on about them not caring too much about that. But what they very much care about is official title, social status, and of course law and order, which they obsessively abide to up to the point of international ridicule.

I think what saved me personally as a child were all those Monty Python and Black Adder episodes ;-)

Wanted to just chime in and say Austrians are my favorite Germanic people. Lovely bastards. Some of my closest friends are Austrians and always down for a good time.

On a serious note Australians are some downright great blokes too. Only problem is that the a good portion of the ones who leave the Down under for the States date some serious fatties irrespective of how buff they are.

Damned shame if you ask me as most of them should be killing it.

Say Zelscorpion. What are in your opinion the peoples that have strong rightist tendencies and why?

Also how is it that people like the Swedes have strong leftist tendencies in the 1st place?

The metric is quite simple and you can observe it well especially if you look towards the Eastern Germans and Western Germans.

The Eastern Germans are 500% more shitlord than Western Germans.

+ They experienced a totalitarian dictatorship and know what it looks like.
+ They had to differentiate between what the media tells you and what they see and experience themselves.
+ Also they were much poorer than Western Germans and don't feel that simply giving it away to total strangers outside of your tribe is a good motivation.

That is why the Eastern Europeans are more far right - poorer, still remember propaganda and can recognize it, more anti-government, less high-trust

I think that the globalists used the following criteria to brainwash the people:

+ high-trust society - Sweden more than Germany. I read once happiness studies across the world and Sweden in the 1980s and early 90s had the same high-trust index as the US in the 1950s (people not closing doors, returning wallets, being nice to each other, expecting most people to be nice too).
+ high standard of living - also essential
+ high ethical standard and altruistic Christian nature - essentially even Atheist Christian countries like Sweden are motivated still by the teachings of Jesus
+ high trust society created a highly socialist system
+ high trust and confidence in the government since the economic situation has improved so much since the 1940s in both countries and people still trust the government

But honestly the approach of the globalists for each country varies a bit and they experiment a lot with what works or does not work. That is why control of the banking comes first, then secret services, then media, then politics, then you simply forge organisations where hundreds of thousands are initiated into a group of followers that get perks and promotions for towing the party line - voila system ready. The proles themselves - they rarely count - even if they rebel at times, then the agenda just slows down and resumes in full force when the public does not expect it anymore.

I would love to do a strategic video-game sometime that shows pretty much how to take control of a system step by step.

Austria consists of the rural and mountain tribes to the West who are shitlords and the city-folk who are leftists (though they become ever more left as the rapefugees are proving leftism wrong).

Australians in my opinion are the coolest most laid-back masculine guys who are at the same time likeable, strong and kind. Especially that combination is rare. If you would want your son to grow up a man, then you should send him to Australia.
I remember this one Japanese dude who came from an elite university in Japan - total socially backwards nerd as many are coming out of that competitive system. He moved to Australia after college and became a hand at a farm - spent 2 years shearing sheep. After those 2 years he was one of the coolest Japanes blokes around - Australia made a man out of him - heh.

But unfortunately the Australians are cursed with the tragedy of their women. Alas - SEA is not far away and they can always travel and import an EE/FSU beauty and bring them home (works if guy has Game/dominance/experience with women and does not fish too far above his own SMV).

All the reasons you mentioned are why they should be killing it but from what I hear about Australia we in the States have it miles(or should I say kilometers heh?) better when it comes to women.

Hence why it's so sad to see manly Australian dudes harpooning whales, but you can have nothing but sympathy due to the harsh environ they come from.

Yeah - the propaganda there is relentless and brutal. Just remember that the strongest backlash against the ROK meetups and against Roosh came from Canada and Australia. The biggest kickback against the Redpill movie by this former feminist woman came from Australia.

I did not say that Australians were Red Pill - just that the environment fosters a good mix of masculinity. But all masculinity can be destroyed or highly impacted by feminism, massive sausage fests and women who get fatter and more empowered at the same time. Men adapt mentally and "learn" to like fucking bitchy fat women. Essentially it is a sexual prison mentality where blokes start liking the fucking of more feminine men in there. I would really compare it to that. Even when you put many of the Blue Pill guys into a free plantation, they still have the lowered standards in their head (at least for a time).

But what can you expect from a place that would have sent out SWAT teams and lynch mobs against Roosh?

As a German I will add some remarks, but don't want to bother you in your analysis about Germans. [Image: icon_mrgreen.gif]
All I do are some observations, and those done here hit a spot. Like everything its a generalization and you will find humble, smart, cool and down to earth Germans like me too.

Germans are known as "Pingelig", this is a mix between detail orientation and a jerk. Some do things for the sake of doing it, because somewhere its written something even when common sense or reality say something different. Then you get responses like "I can't do that" or "we did it that way all the time". Even when bending some nonsense is in their possibility. On the other hand I made many encounters with authorities and when you are not a jerk some things can go more smoothly. Unfortunately many are even forbid to slip things. They know they have to push stupid rules but have no space to different. Because in the worst case it fires back on them and then they risk the job or some punishment.

For show off, money and sneaky. I don't see those points. When Germans don't like you, you will now and not get some face smiles. You also can't impress people with money or your status. When you are an engineer or a doctor you will get some credits because they know there is some work behind this, but not more. Austrians are different, there titles are still a show of. In Germany you can be a PhD and more, and most will refer to you as Mr. Schmidt. In Austria a no go.
Also that sneaky people that rat you out are often older people. Not very common with the young ones. Those old ladies at their windows that watch the whole street and report everything, or the old man that walks down the road to see if you park wrong. They spend all their life with work and now retired they have nothing left. Sad.

Trust in Authorities. I'm very mixed here. There is no big corruption in Germany, no big abuse of power. Also in many positions many managers and leaders don't abuse the position for greed so much. This change now a little bit with Volkswagen and others. I see a mix between arrogance and cocky. They thought they an slip away with it.
This is the next point, Germans can be very arrogant and proud. I notice this at myself too. Quite complex issue. Because we have no relaxed relationship to our nation, no positive approach. Ever positive approach get put down and label either stupid or nationalistic. So we compensate this, in the football team, in our cars, in our economy, in our eco friendly nonsense, in your liberty, our human rights, our democratic values.

Most of the stuff is on a top level for a modern society but its not like others don't do well there. It was in the USA, that get a lot of look downs, where they did discover the Diesel scandal. And it is in the USA where they push the courts against Volkwagen. Also US buyers get some money back. What happen in Germany? Nothing. Government works very close with the car industries. But with all this left wing nonsense Germans found some new religion.

Germans tend to extremes and can be very rigid. The attitude to stick to laws is one thing, the next is to follow rules or and ideology. Politics and Media is complete different then the common German. They are not fact driven and always think any moment that Franz the Berlin Hippster will turn into Franz the Gestapo guy the next second. So we are all day in check and control. Everything slightly positive at Germany get crushed immediately. And its our glorious government that safe us all, that provide us with a good economy and stability. So we don't vote for radicals and our government knows whats best for us. Even when we don't agree with it on many terms, we know there is no alternative to vote. So we mind our own business, stick to our own and hope one day it will turn out better. When you form groups of alternative ideas you will either label as right wing or crazy. Also its not "balanced", thats the most important thing. There are no arguments about the reality or facts in the media and politics. Its about ideas and ideals. Not about reality. Those that lead the public opinion are the left wing people, they control those fields. Their ideology is stronger then the reality of facts. Thats why you can pull out all the facts you want, they will ignore it.

Thats the worst part of all, we are lead by people that do not trust us as free citizens. They try to lecture us all the time by moral. And this lead of course to a society where most people live in some kind of coma where they just simply follow the flow. Even when they see it complete different, they see no way out for something different. Because either they fear the risk of change and that things can get worse or the alternatives are a way to radical.

We will stand tall in the sunshine
With the truth upon our side
And if we have to go alone
We'll go alone with pride

For us, these conflicts can be resolved by appeal to the deeply ingrained higher principle embodied in the law, that individuals have the right (within defined limits) to choose how to live. ^^^ The difference between the average German and the average American is that the latter would have never let themselves be subjugated to the point where there are 'no political alternatives' left. Anglo-Saxons are on average a lot more irreverent and are used to challenge their government (which is why I'm a bit confused about why the Brits sunk so low in the past decades but I digress). Let's be clear, the reason why there is no political alternative to the main parties for Germans is simply because they don't want to stand out and the will to fight back has been effectively bred out of them. Most Germans are followers and they believe and obey whatever the current administration tells them. They may bitch and complain but then go right back and re-elect the same people.

Germany didn't get into this whole from one day to another, it's been the proverbial boiling frog that led to Fascism 3.0 in Germany. You can criticize Americans for many things but I can guarantee you that one ideology will never manage to dominate all others, Americans are too independent plus THEY ARE ARMED AND PREPARED TO DEFEND THEIR RIGHTS. Proof: Trump got elected whereas Europe continues to elect the same mofos who ruined their continent in the first place. Whereas PEGIDA gets the shit kicked out of them every single 'Sunday stroll' over in the States MAGA supporters were willing to step up and beat the shit out of Antifa perps.

That's the difference, Parzival. Everything else are simply excuses. Don't think that supporting Trump ahead of the election made you popular or gained you any friends. Some people even lost their jobs and professional career over it. But unlike the Germans we stepped up and made a difference. And what will Germans do this fall? RE-ELECT MERKEL, that's what.

The tautological reasoning of Germans regarding how things are done reminds me eerily of the Japanese.

"We do it like this because it's what we've always done!"

"Christian love bears evil, but it does not tolerate it. It does penance for the sins of others, but it is not broadminded about sin. Real love involves real hatred: whoever has lost the power of moral indignation and the urge to drive the sellers from temples has also lost a living, fervent love of Truth."

And it'll just take a few million Germans voting for Merkel again in September and Germans will all be living in an Islamic caliphate a decade or so later. Oh wait, that's exactly what will happen based on the current polls, by a very vast margin I may add.

I wouldn't be too worried about the U.S. - at least in the very worst case scenario we'll get the opportunity to fight fascism. The Germans (and Brits, and French, and Dutch, etc.) already lost it.

The passive attitude of Germans and why they don't start to "do" something goes back to the education system. Since the unification of Germany, Prussian drill was the goal. This keep on till 1945. Direct after that blame and shame was the education. So either Germans are rise extreme proud and military authoritarian or they are rise strict by blame and shame with no rise of confidence. You can shape humans in the ways you want, just take the Milgram Experiment or the Stanford Prison Experiment. When you set the social conditioning in a certain way, the majority of people will act to it.
Germany is a society where you can express your free critical thoughts and discuss it but without the power to act. That's why we have such still debates about the crisis, but no on take action. They just let it slide.

I totally get where you're coming from. When I went to school there back in the early 80s it was still a completely different ballgame. They did teach about the holocaust but the 'inherited guilt' factor and liberal Marxist agenda were still only in its early days.

Although I have been very critical of Germany I do understand what you guys are dealing with and obviously it's sometimes easy to judge from the outside. I didn't really have a crystal ball either before I left and although I wasn't happy in Germany I would not ever in my wildest dreams have imagined the dismal future that the country would be facing a bit over two decades later.

I think it's great that you got your ass out of Germany and into Austria. There is a real chance that the Austrians may actually vote in Strache in the elections scheduled for this fall. Write me privately and let me know where exactly you are. I spent almost a decade of my life in Austria, understand the accent as well as the mentality there very well, and may have a few tips for you.

The proposed law mentioned in the OP passed.

Quote:Quote:

German Parliament Backs Plan to Fine Social Media over Hate Speech

The German parliament approved a plan on Friday to fine social media networks up to 50 million euros ($57 million) if they fail to remove hateful postings promptly, despite concerns the law could limit free expression.

Germany has some of the world’s toughest laws covering defamation, public incitement to commit crimes and threats of violence, with prison sentences for Holocaust denial or inciting hatred against minorities. But few online cases are prosecuted.

The law gives social media networks 24 hours to delete or block obviously criminal content and seven days to deal with less clear-cut cases, with an obligation to report back to the person who filed the complaint about how they handled the case.

Failure to comply could see a company fined up to 50 million euros, and the company’s chief representative in Germany fined up to 5 million euros.

I hope at least one or two social media companies do a Google and simply refuse offering their service in Germany or any other country pulling this shit. And by the way the law of unintended consequences strikes again. What this effectively does is to create large monopolies, just like the Germans like it. Think about it. If you're a young fledgling social media upstart you obviously can't afford to be fined 50 Million, all it takes is one major case and you're cooked. So what do you do? You pull out of Germany, that's that.

Oh, unless of course that was the idea in the first place...
... never mind...

Its very strange in a country with 2 dictatorships in the last 80 years to talk about such things like hate speech. There are laws in the constitution. Those hate speak stuff is coordinate by a former STASI woman. There is no legal definition what's hate speak. When you break the law by insult people or start to spread violence its already a crime. Now we face something different where a government found group, lead by a former STASI woman do the definition what's "hate" speak. Very very disturbing. Seems my fellow countrymen and woman chose their faith.

Its maybe similar to 1933. Some said, now it will get worse. Better get out here. Most said, how bad can it be? And then we know what did happen...

Germany will simply fine Twitter who will pretend to give a shit and then that money will go back to Twitter or various appropriate linked corporations through any number of schemes.

Germany is not going to risk alienating a social media giant. All the key players here are on board. Twitter gets an excuse to crack down on "hatespeech". The German government gets to look tough and signal authority over dissidents. The money will simply be moved around and put back into the appropriate hands.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.
