You wear American CLOTHING BRANDS. MAKE YOUR OWN. If you guys are so talented as you claim to be, why don't you make your own stuff?
As a side note, Zara (Spanish brand as we all know, world's largest retailer with some € 12.000 billion revenue/year) has about 2200 stores in the world, but just a few dozens in the US ...... Americans are too big (obese) for Zara clothes.

That's true -- obesity is a problem in the US - but that has to do more with inequality of sorts than with no good food available. I know you didn't make that point but I just mention it because some ignorant euro types seem to think that an American supermarket only consists of stocking hamburgers, hot dogs and ketchup.
You can find any ingredient and prepare any Mediterranean style cooking you want living in the US. It's just a matter of priorities. Ok, side note.
On to the point: Zara is not really "Spanish" clothes though. All the models are basically same stuff you would find in the US with perhaps a slightly different cut. Interesting article - so others have seized the opportunity and Zara has chosen not to. Typically Spanish: let others do the work. "Que inventen ellos" is a FAMOUS historical phrase here from centuries ago. "Let others invent!"
