Thinking of visiting 1-2 Greek islands this summer. Kind of looking for something off the beaten trail but not completely hermit level remote, I don't wanna deal with British teenagers and similar groups and I don't aim to go too hard party wise. Just a tranquil island where I can hang on beaches, wander and hike a bit, work on my stuff while still having access to stuff like a gym nice food and amenities. There's hundreds of these there must be a hidden gem or two somewhere. Any ideas?

Also browsed the hostels around the islands like Ios, some of them are basically party resort with swimming pool, restaurant and even their own dancefloor. But checking out the reviews, its 95% australians and thunder tights are not my thing.

Mykonos has the hottest girls I've ever seen, not long got back .

I decided to skip the Greek Islands and only spend 2 to three nights in Athens before moving on.
Heading to Rhodes on 9th September, get in touch if you're around
I went to Rhodes early last May, here's an update.
The castle around the old city in the old town Rhodes, built by the Knights of St. John, was amazing. Reason enough to go. One of the best castles I've seen.
It is really easy to strike up conversations on the beach. Best bet is to hit the beach, establish rapport, see where you can get, and then invite girls to dinner or drinks later. On the beach, I met girls from Romania, several groups of Swedes, and other girls from Ukraine, Germany, Netherlands, England, and Finland. I also met Greek girls studying in Rhodes. Bitch shields are low during the day, and girls are happy to talk to you b/c they are just laying on the beach doing nothing. I did not meet any Russians on the beach, although I saw some (older) Russians while walking around town. There were definitely large collections of Scandinavians. The Ukranian girl I met was local. I met some Russian girls at night, but they were also local. They actually blew me out! Ratios were also good on the beach, and I didn't see any other guys trying to pick up. Most of the guys I saw on the beach were with girls. Others were just laying down a short distance from hot girls but not actually chatting them up.
I saw three of the four nightlife locations recommended to me.
(1) the bar street, with Colorado. This was busy, probably after 11pm or so. I went once at 10, and was empty, and then at 12:30 after napping, and it was pretty busy on a weekend. I only went once, and picked up a 21 year old swedish goddess (OK, she was just a 7, but still). I thought I was in, but then got cock-blocked by the overweight mother hen. I'm still pissed about this.
(2) Macao -- cool cocktail bar in the old city. It was quite diverse-looking, but I got the feeling it was mostly locals. It kind of felt like I was crashing someone else's party, but it's worth a look. The hottest local girls come here, so if you've got game and confidence, give it a shot. In May, it's only open weekends. I walked in sober having just woken up. Probably would have been better had I gotten in the zone first after the tourist bars.
(3) A fancy-ish restaurant with a club underneath called Elli (or Elle) bar. I heard the bar area in the restaurant can get busy around 10, but when I walked in around that time, there were no targets, although some hot girls in mixed groups at tables. The club underneath must get going later than 10. Sadly, I never saw at full capacity.
(4) Someone recommended Paradiso Beach Club out of the city. I didn't go. Might be better mid-Summer in busy season. Either way, I'd probably do more due-diligence before going that far.
Everyone strongly recommended I go to Lindos. I didn't make it, sadly, in part because I was also working while there. I did go with a girl I met to some other more secluded beaches on the island. For that I rented a car. i would recommend this.
The weather was good enough for early May -- low 20s celsius. Two days it rained for half the day, the rest of the time was sunny.
I got basically nothing off of tinder there. The bar scene at night trended a bit young-ish. For me, nearing 40, I had to put in some work to get a hook.
I stayed in the old town. I was near Macao, which made things convenient, and bringing girls back to such a cool area was nice. But I was also a long walk to the main bar street, and to the beach. If I returned I might also check out hotel prices right on the beach, or closer to the main bar street, although Airbnbs in the old town do have charm.
On the whole I'd recommend. It's not a bad option in early May, especially if you are escaping the northern european weather. If your target is Scandinavian girls, it's probably better to go after them here than in Scandinavia. However, after the experience, I'd probably prefer a location with more girls from EE/Russia than from northern europe. I'd give it an 8/10.

^ season hasn't picked up yet so some nationalities might be missing still. Lindos had the better beaches but a few years ago the nightlife was still mainly in Rhodes town so I don't think you missed much.
^Yeah, I suspect it would be better in late May or June as the season picks up. For sure it was still early. Probably, the timing may change what nationalities you find here. Good thing about early season was that I negotiated about 15% off the price of my Airbnb, which was already priced at a discount to peak season.
I’ll be doing Corfu in the middle of July. I’m staying in an apartment in Corfu Town so any tips on swooping would be well appreciated. Will write a data sheet when I’m done

Corfu town is gorgeous. I regularly take my plates there for a romantic getaway. It's not really a party town, though. It tends to be couples and families. Having said that, my favourite beach bar is at Mon Repos, about a 20 minute walk from town. There tend to be a lot of tourists and local girls hanging out there, and on more than a few occasions I've rued being there with female company as I've had to ignore some pretty strong expressions of interest. But you know what women are like; it could have just been the usual female competition in play.
There are quite a few bars which draw a young crowd, especially in the "new town" which is where the locals actually live; adjacent to the old town. However, Greeks are hard to crack generally. You really have to be a part of their social circle to stand a chance, and horny foreign tourists are a dime a dozen.
I will say this, though. Some of the local girls are amongst the most stunning I've seen anywhere in Europe.
I haven't been to the other parts of the island which attract mass tourism, so can't comment.

You will find tourist chicks in the Venetian style Old Town.
I was in Corfu and was surprised that there were far less tourists than I anticipated, even less than 2nd tier European cities like Munich.

I often see people say the Greek islands have some of the tourists but your saying it also has some of the hottest locals to? Would the Greek islands then be a good spot to go to any time of the year for gaming good looking girls?

The old town is beautiful because it was a Venetian colony for centuries and it was influenced by the architecture you see in north Italy and central europe
I have been in Corfu and it is a good place to spend 3-4 days.
However I have to state that I find greek girls from islands not attractive.
Maybe they do not have enough balkan genes, some of them are ugly.
However there is a lot of mixing between greeks with english and dutch people in Corfu, and some of the attractive girls there ate these kinds of mixes, like half dutch, or half english with greeks.
Don't know why, because neither Dutch or Enlgish are particularly attractive people

Adrenaline Mykonos is always expensive but other islands are cheap when booked early.
I know Rhodes and Crete are, Ios should be as well.
If you cant find anything then check with the travel agencies. The greek islands are places where agencies book most of the rooms then sell them as travel packages. You can get good deals there sometimes depending on where youre coming from.

Yeah me too. But the first time I went to the Greek Isles with some friends they just said whatever, let's go. There are specific beaches and nightlife areas that are gay. So you don't see too much of that if you don't look for it.

For the *most* Russian women you'll need to hit the package tour destinations. It seems like Crete takes the prize, because it is cheap. If you go back to around page 4 or 5 of this thread you'll see Greek Kamaki talking about Russians in Hersonissos. You have to take everything Kamaki says with a grain of salt and don't use it for making any descisions, but there might be some useful info in there.

I just returned from Mykonos Late June 2018. I held my nose when I bought the ticket as I don't like tourist destinations, but had to go . I would actually recommend the island. I went against the Forum and Trip advisor that recommended to stay Downtown. I stayed at Paradise beach resort. The place had Ultimate Logistics. Your bed(or hers)is no more than a 4 Min walk from the middle of the dance floor. (some of the best Logistics I've have ever experienced) There are 3 restaurants there, with a inside disco close by as well. The ratio was about 60/40 dudes to chicks. If you like/are good at dance floor activities/game the music starts at 1700 and goes until 0500(a lot of time to game, Beers 5$.) I went downtown with the girl i met one night and went to Scandinavian club and it was terrible. I would actually recommend the island, but stay at the beach, not downtown. You are going to Mykonos for the water/and beach... not the town, not impressed with the town.
