@Agreddor What kind of girls are you gaming? From my experience and my other white friends, its only with SPGs do they expect you to pay. Most normal girls will offer and genuinely mean to pay for their share of meals.

There were a few occasions when this happened. And these were local locals, not spgs mind you.

Occasion 1. We were queuing for coffee at Starbucks and I let her go in front of me (on purpose) and she orders a fucking drink and a bunch of other pastries. I'm standing there looking at the board and the cashier asks her for payment and she looks at me. I told the cashier I'll take awhile to order and that she'll pay first. Date went downhill from there.

Occasion 2. Bill for food came, I tell her her share is 35$ and she looks at me and asks why I'm not paying for her

Occasion 3. Cambodian chick
Same as occasion 2, but this time she went all passive agressive and said oh I think men should pay for dates.

I can't speak for the Cambodian but is girl 1 and girl 2 the same girl? If so, then maybe that one girl is a gold digger. We all encounter one or two in our lives in any countries but date more. You wouldn't get all gold diggers.

They were 2 different girls.

Anyway, my point is this; I don't think the girls here are worth the hassle. When I say hassle I mean getting dressed, allocating a few hours of your day to them &c.

If you're into Asian girls, Singaporeans are far from attractive

Facial features wise, they're rather plain and generic.

Typical Singaporean body: flat chested and assded with a little paunch because of poor eating habits and lack of exercise. And let's not forget the hairy vagina.

Throw in the Singaporean accent and western bitch shields and you have an Asian feminist.

It makes your tease sarcastic and thank God, Singaporeans actually understand sarcasm(fuck Japan)

I just recently learned about the whole mugging thing. Supposedly SMU students will wear sweaters that say "SMUgging" around the city.. i'm not sure what kind of message that's supposed to convey.

Highlighting the fact that SP girls understand sarcasm. This is probably the only place in Asia where this is the case, so if lack of sarcasm annoys you this is the place to be. However, I've learned to adapt to lack of sarcasm and use it for my own entertainment.

The whole fucking country is sexually repressed. Half the men here don't know how to put on a condom (I don't kid) *pardon the pun

A couple months ago some Singaporean dudes were helping me move stuff out of my room to another room. As I was unpacking the next day, I found my used condom among my accessories. I'm like "why would these guys include my used condom in my luggage?" Then I realized these guys don't know what a fucking condom looks like. I wish I was making this up but this actually happened. This guy was 21 years old, and attends the top university in Singapore.

Haha are you for real?? Hopefully its just one or two people like that. We kinda have a thing where we give condoms to our friends as a gift on their birthday if we know they have a girlfriend/are going to get laid. And those things are sold so readily in convenience stores! Gosh have that guy been living under a rock? AND HE WENT THROUGH THE ARMY, DID HE SERVE WITH MONKS?

I do recall the condoms at 711 being frustratringly small. Like 39mm wide.. wtf!

haha

Courtship is over the fucking top in Asian culture. Like the guy who made a love heart out of Iphone 6's in China or the Vietnamese dude who spent like three months wages on an Iphone.

I'd like to say it slows me down, but a lot of the time these girls will willingly tell you the shit that guys do for them once they know you don't want to marry them.

Yup, the courtship makes it a hard deal to seal if you're local. As a foreigner, I would suggest you make it clear right from the get go you're into having a good time. Singaporean girls are direct but not rude. They will display their intentions pretty clearly through body language most of the time. If she agrees to a date if you make it OBVIOUS that you are intending to have something more than dinner then its normally a green light to escalate further on in the night

I lived in Singapore for three years on and off, so I thought I'd share my thoughts. White guy in mid 20s talking here.

First, I'm not into the clubbing scene, it's not my thing and the five times I went I didn't pull.

That left me with daygaming and online dating.

I ran a few daygame approaches over my time in SG, and I would say the best place hands down is the Kinokuniya bookstore in Orchard. Just pull any book as a prop and talk with her about it, or go direct. I made a girl faint once after approaching her direct, no kidding.

That being said, online was where it really went well for me. I used mainly Badoo before Tinder came out; and Tinder once it became popular enough.

For both, put some decent pictures up and go hunting. I had one with a good smile, one with a suit giving a talk and one in a scenic spot, amongst others. In both apps I never bothered filling out the profile. On Badoo, the ratio between me texting first vs her texting first was about 50/50; on Tinder obviously you'll have to do the first step most of the time. Don't waste time, tell her she's not and that you want to take her out. Go for a number close and switch to Whatsapp asap. Also, forget about the Filipinas and most Indonesians, they are maids and never have time to meet as they have at most one off-day a week. Chinese - local or foreign - are your mainstay, plus the Malays and Indians if you like darker skin and bigger racks.

If you're looking to take her out, Harbour Front is the place (at least for me as it wasn't far from my place). I liked to take my girls there, walk along the harbourfront and go for an early kiss along the water. Either you head further up to Sentosa or take her back right there and then, most did agree to that. That strategy worked well for me and it's simple, straightforward and didn't eat up too much time.

Yeah Harbourfront is a good place to date!

Update on the Kinokuniya: They shut down the one on the 3rd floor for renovation and the current one on the 4th floor is smaller. Day game is still possible just that its a smaller space to work with

Now am nine days in sg and got four new flags. Absolutely amazing.

Here are some reflections on my experiences. Bear in mind all those notches came from online game.

- For quality girls, stick to nightgame. Especially Irish brought up invaluable advice. +1 from me.
- All girls I met were bangable or 'almost' cute, but no stunners to be found on badoo. The crowd is between 24 and 33 years old.
- Although the girls were from different countries, my experience with all of them was very similar. They all had a fun vibe and a cool personality, with good conversation skills. They seldom checked on their smartphone during the meeting.
- I never encountered a cunty, disrespectful, bossy or rude behaviour. I didn't hear any feminist statements at all. I met no gold diggers. I haven't tried out club game yet, but my experiences are completely different than Irish's. Online game and night game are obviously completely different. But once again, don't expect to meet any stunners.
- Drinks are pricey but the girls almost always paid for their own drinks.
- Girls here value their time and usually show up punctually on a date. In addition, they always show up on the right venue. If they flake, they have a plausible explanation and suggest a new date. In the Philippines, I could wait up to two hours because a girl would show up late, or she would never come to an agreed place.
- I usually dressed smooth in jeans, closed shoes, shirt and coat. This was more appreciated than just jeans and t-shirt
- I usually ran masculine gentleman game. In two cases I acted as a nice guy, and got the bang nonetheless.
- In online chat, I keep flirting to a minimum. Upon first meeting, I go rather quickly for the kiss (usually after first drink). A kiss was rejected only once.
- It requires some time to make those girls feel comfortable. While a SNL is likely to happen, a venue change was always needed before proceeding to my place. Example: I met that singaporean girl at Clarke Quay and visited two different bars with her. When I suggested to move to my place for a "last drink", she insisted in leaving the building and drink outdoors, before she would come back to my place and finally give up her LMR.
- As the seduction process takes a bit longer, I wouldn't advice in more than two dates on a day. I set up two dates at 4pm and 8pm. If I hadn't to leave girl #1 for the date at 8pm, I could have taken her to my place. Two times I had to rush to another date.
- With one exception, nobody confirmed (or admitted) to feel lonely, or to dislike local singaporean men. However I'm sure they are bored in that city-state, and crave for a western cock.
- I didn't use the "I need to charge my battery" line, but suggested a last drink at my place. This one worked well because booze is so expensive and the girls pay for their own drinks.
- Clarke Quay or Boat Quay may or may not be a good venue for a first meeting, but they worked for me.
- Living away two or three MRT stations did not hinder my success. If your hotel / apartment is further away then take a taxi.

Depending on which game you use (daygame, night game, or online game), and from where you are (expat, western tourist, local), Singapore can be the worst place in SEA, or a goldmine.

I don't want to hype that place but Singapore is a poosy paradise for me. Where else can you find open minded girls from all over Asia, former Soviet Union, and the western world?

Give us a bit more info. What age range are you, what pictures did you put up and what did you put into your profile? Did you raise your profile?

What races/nationalities did respond to you?

Lonewolf,

I usually put on three pics - one in a suit, one in social setting, one doing cool stuff. I don't write anything on my profile.
I raise my profile, and put pics on the spotlight.

Women from the following countries repeatedly wrote me (percentage is approximate):
Philippines (50%) Singapore (20%) Indonesia (15%) Malaysia (10%). The rest came from other asian countries, including FSU.
Within three days, I probably got messages from more than 100 different girls.

As pointed out earlier, quality online is lower than what you could find at night in a club. I filtered out the obese girls, the old ones, the Pinays (they are only free on sunday anyway). Those girls I met were 6s or almost 7s. Examples:
- One girl had bad skin but wore an elegant dress and had a great petite body.
- Another one was a bit short and wore awkward hipster glasses but was otherwise very good looking.
- One girl had short hair
- and one I would easily rate an 8 if she only lost 5-7kg.
I'm sure there are better looking girls online, but I have been in sg less than two weeks, so I can improve when I return.

**CRITICAL update on the situation in Singapore. The city's taken another massive hit due to the ALCOHOL BAN which restricts drinking in the streets after 10:30pm, or even buying alcohol from 7/11s. In fact some districts you cannot buy alcohol from any store by 7:30pm (!). From now on, you are forced blow your money at a registered club / venue if you want to continue drinking/buying alcohol.

This has resulted in a massive depression in nightlife, moreso than the city has anticipated, because it appears that if people know they have to stop drinking by 10:30pm, they actually end up not bothering to go out at all - because what's the point if you can only stay for 2 hours? Now people either throw house parties or go straight to the clubs. Clubs have responded by making their opening hours / DJ sets even earlier now to accommodate for earlier influx of patrons. Cops await outside club entrances to make sure you don't bring alcohol outside - that's right, even right outside the venue you can't be holding a beer. However if the club has its own "zone" outdoors you are still legally allowed to drink there. So overall you are unaffected if you are loaded and enjoy going straight to clubs anyway without doing street game.

Just to demonstrate how real this is, I shot some pics over this weekend

Top row taken at 9:30pm, peak hours for Club St
2nd row photo was taken at 1am, peak hours for bridge
Duxton area, great outdoors spot Irish was plugging, blacked out 1am-ish also but that might be regular hours anyway. The main club in Duxton has been shut down indefinitely. This is worse than the 1997 handover of Hong Kong. Please please if you were thinking about coming to SP despite this topic, let this be the final nail in the coffin, i predict SP will become like UAE/Dubai 10 years from now

I'll have some more uplifting news / venues in my next post so stay tuned.

That's depressing. I remember having beers on that same bridge among 100 others.
Perfect place for people watching and having a few before hitting the strip.

That's horrifying. One of the things that makes nightlife in HK so great is the atmosphere on the street in LKF with everyone happily drinking cheap 711 beer. I met a lot of great girls that way. I was on the fence with checking out Singapore before but I guess I'll just not bother now.

People are obviously not meant to have fun in Singapore.
However, I took advantage of that new "beer o'clock"-regime.
When I met a girl on a first date, we usually went to a bar, having a beer or cocktail.
From 10.30pm on I'd suggest to change venue. While walking around, I'd mention that now we're just too late for getting another beer at 7-11, but we could still buy mixers - I have a bottle of Vodka at my place.
I had good sucess using that strategy, but my sample size is rather small. When am back in sg, I'll try out this strategy again and then report back.
It probably worked so well because most girls I met paid their own drinks, and that Vodka at my place could save them a lot of cash.

Zerdame,

I'm a white European with intermediate game and am currently on a short term stay in sg. My experience differs much from what you wrote.

I used badoo three days prior arrival and got messages from girls who are from ELEVEN different countries, including two FSU countries. I'll work on my pipeline (low hanging fruit I admit) before trying my luck at night or doing day game.
My comments on your points...

1. I don't find it hard at all in sg. I was on six dates yet. From three of them I got the bang with relative ease, on two others there was at least a makeout, and a solid perspective for second date. One girl was a wallflower.
2. Agree, logistics do not matter that much. I have a cheap hotel in an outter district, but it was not difficult getting those girls to my place. One of them was in a hurry and paid the taxi. She undressed herself immediately when we reached my room, and 20 minutes later she left as she had to go home.
3. Can't comment on that as I didn't day game.
4. One singaporean girl I met during the day heavily complimented my facial hair; a malaysian chinese chick rubbed my nose as she said it would bring her luck. Being white definitely helps me but not as much as in the Philippines.
5. Depends. I immediately eject when a girl suggests eating out. That said, every one has her own public transportation card, and some girls prefer to pay their drinks. Till now, no date would cost me more than 20 SGD. Compare that with a meet up in Manila, where usually the man shall pay for everything, including her taxi...
6. I told two of the girls upfront that I meet other women as well, and it didn't affect my success on them. I think a harem is indeed possible here.

I didn't stay long enough in sg yet, and without doing day and night game, I cannot yet properly rate that city-state.
But from what I've seen in that short period, Singapore seems to me an underrated poosy paradise.

Zerdame, Selembao, (and hi again Irish and Cyclone) - adding my experience, having lived here for 2.5 years.

What I agree with all of you: drinks are expensive, day game is tough - more so because it's so hot to stand in the sun, and the alcohol ban isn't doing any good.

However, logistics are easy, food is not too expensive, and harem is possible - I have had three girls at any given time for the past 1+ year. But yes, the word gets out. Or you end up meeting friends of ex-es, flings etc. Only last month, I ended up taking a girl for drinks and we made out. Then she showed me 10's of pics of her and her best friend. The best friend and I had 'dated' for four months and she still calls me player (we parted at good note.) I've also seen this same ex appear at my other social parties in past six months. Wonder what she has told everyone, ha!

Btw, Irish and Cyclone - my bad, I dropped out as lost my old phone and all contacts and I hadn't taken any backup. Will drop you a PM and let's meet up!

If any of four of you are in Club St area, drop me a PM. One of the owners of Kyo is a friend of mine, though I rarely, if at all, go there as I don't like clubbing. But there is always a time to go for an hour or two.

I was in SG for about 10 days a month ago. Very nice and clean country/city. Girls seem much nicer and better for approaching. My theory was that if you are living there or staying for an extended period of time, then you must be well off and have something going for you. You can't be broke in Singapore. The cost and culture means its off the typical SEA hipster travel path.

I got into a decent routine and met some cool peeps within my 10 days there. I actually wouldn't mind living there. However, as a location independent worker, I can't justify living there due to the cost. Could I live there, sure. But I left southern California in order to get away from having to spend entire paychecks to keep my head above water.

You could live in Thailand or Indonesia and travel to SG 2 times per month and stay in hotels 2 times per month and still be paying less than if you were renting an apartment there.

The Maximally Pathetic Schema: Xs who labor to convince Ys that “I’m not one of those despicable Zs!,” when in fact it is obvious to the meanest intelligence that the Ys see no difference between Xs and Zs, don’t care anyway, and would love to throw both Xs and Zs into a gulag.

Since quitting my job back in December I have been travelling around a lot, dipping in and out of Singapore occasionally. Given the number of better options available around SE Asia for nightlife I haven't really been going out in Singapore that much and gaming hard. Mainly just catching up with old buddies etc more than chasing skirt, which I rather save for the likes of Jakarta, Manila and Bangkok where the pussy is both easier and superior in general.

Singapore used to be so much better before, particularly for working the social circle game. But now there seems to be too many venues opened up for the higher end (non-local) market and it's all become a little unpredictable. Other than Kyo on a Thursday and Club St early Friday, there's nowhere it seems you can really guarantee will be a good busy crowd week in week out. A lot of the scene now is driven by 'pop up' parties and events such as SOKO, Training Shed, After Dark, Chroam etc as well as a load of other random one off events. Since the refurb tho Kyo was beginning to show some potential as a consistently good weekend afterparty venue.

I have been out a fair bit since the whole alcohol ban but not noticed much change to be honest. Not sure when the photo of club street was taken post ban but it's been pumping as usual when I have been down there. I think this one affects the young local student crowd a lot more who rely on cheap booze brought from 7/11 to get tanked up before hitting the bars & clubs. The only noticeable difference I have seen is the bridge at Clark quay where normally would be mobbed with the young 'uns boozing in the evening is now eerily quiet. However, being of the mid 30s crowd my days of drinking cans in the street are well behind me so it largely unaffected the scene I tend to operate in.

bike0369 - I'll give you a shout when I'm back in the country as am currently in the UK. Although I'm not planning on being back until July as have earmarked a bit of a jolly around Eastern Europe for a few weeks. I'm usually in club st, esp on a Friday and go to Kyo fairly regularly. It's descended into a bit of a cockfest on a Thursday night now but picked up on as a now viable option on Fri & Sat. That Kyo owner is a good contact to have, especially as they develop circular road more. I can see it becoming the new Club st once they get a few more venues rolling.

So, I'm toying with the idea of relocating down to Singapore/KL. Seems like a good location with a strong currency in the area plus other SEA spots is a weekend option. However, my connection is somewhat little bit limited down in SG so I'm going to give this job-hunting thing a shot.

Do you (Cyclone) or anyone else know of any head hunters I can send my CV off to? I'm looking to get into the Analytics industry and I have "Big Four" Consulting experience if that puts me a step above other applicants.
