Mine will arrive tomorrow, I think most of us are getting a case for theirs, I know I did. I don't really get the huge deal about people trying to break their phones. It is a phone, if you smash it or damage it, expect it to not work good, regardless of the manufacturer. There are even limits to gorilla glass. This is my first iphone, I am mostly getting it because they seem to hold their value better and my motorolla is painfully slow in comparison, and I was due for an upgrade.
iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus
Just got my 6 plus. Syncing it up and doing my iCloud download as we speak.

Now that the IPhone 6 has been out now, how is the battery? Crappy as the 5? Or long lasting as the 4S one?
Thanks guys!

Ok, but isn't this true for all phones? I'm obviously not going to try testing it on my HTC, but I would expect it to be seriously damaged if I sat on it or intentionally tried to break it with my hands. Can someone show me a video where an adult male is doing his best to break another smartphone and failing?
So far the only physical pressure my phone endured has been from a 4 kg cat sitting on it, and I seriously doubt that would damage an iPhone either.

No... because they tested other phones and they don't bend with just bare hands,
and the reason why iPhone 6 is so extremely fragile
is because it is made of aluminium
Also aluminium is directly linked by many studies to Alzheimer's Disease...
It's only 9 dumbasses that bent their phones. They probably had it in their back pocket and sat down on a hard bench. This is way overhyped.

in the news:
The new iPhone 6 appears to have a major flaw in it’s design. The thin aluminum case, which spans a very sizeable screen, seems to have a weak point at the side buttons that allows it to bend. There’s almost no way Jobs woulda let this out of his factory?
Be careful with your expensive shit, people.

Is Apple a red pill prophet? The early name for the iphone prototype was the "skankphone."

The camera lens on the 6 plus isn't flush against the back. I can see it easily get scratched or damaged if you don't have a protective case.
Back of the phone also has a weird texture to it as well. It gets kind of smudgy as you use it during the day.

The Gender Politics of Pockets - The iPhone 6 may be the great catalyst in including this oft-ignored aspect of women's fashion.
Shocking news. Gay men don't put women's work interests above their desire to play dress up.
Woman hears people demanding pockets.
Her proposed solution:
Not pockets.
It must all be because of patriarchy.

“I honestly believe the fashion industry is not helping women advance,” Olson said. And the lack of functional designs for women is one example. "We [women] know clearly we need pockets to carry technology and I think it’s expected we are going to carry a purse. When we’re working we don’t carry purses around. A pocket is a reasonable thing.”

“More women are expecting and demanding pockets,” Olson said of trends in the industry. “I was hearing more about pockets on the runway in recent shows. Pockets are becoming more interesting, but they aren’t the size to carry around an iPhone, much less an iPhone [6] Plus.”

“It’s got to be an accessories solution,” she theorized. “Chanel just came out with a holster type of thing that is really, really pretty. Or a fanny pack that was stylish. Or a shape to wear about [the body]. But not belts. Something that’s comfortable, that’s important.”
Not pockets.

I've had an iPhone variation for about 5 years now. Currently on the 5 and the battery just sucks. Considering going to either the 6 (don't want the size of the plus) or a Samsung S5. Anyone ever leave the iPhone family to go elsewhere and were happy? Don't know if it's a good idea or not.

So a question to guys with the latest iphone: is it good, would you recommend it?
I just want a phone that is fast, zero lag, zero irritation generally. I want it to be seamless and smooth to use. If the iphone is this, I'm going to drop this clumsy buggy laggy android crap.

All Verizon iPhones starting with the 5 are GSM (SIM) unlocked. H2O is an AT&T MVNO, so yes, it'll work no problem.
