Yes, almost every study I have seen shows that native born Americans simply do not want to study STEM or are not capable of doing so.
Such "studies" are usually written by
Vivek Wadhwa, a major league IRT and pathological liar, whose goal is to flood the U.S. with fellow IRT's so that whoever pays his bills can get a virtually infinite pool of sufficiently-qualified laborers on the cheap.
Americans do not want to study STEM because there is no return on investment. Engineers are glorified blue-collar workers to be harassed by white-collar managers with MBA's and inferior intellects. The hours are long, and the competition is brutal. One can be easily replaced by a virgin IRT who will work 14 hours per day every day, since making money in the Silly Con Valley is the only chance he has to amass enough of a loot to afford an Indian bride and finally, FINALLY, have some sex!
The only place where Americans who studied STEM can have some job security is the aerospace & defense sector. You cannot hire IRT's to design missiles and fighter jets, since they lack a security clearance, and may return to India one day and take America's military secrets with them.
I studied STEM in the U.S. at the graduate level for 5 years, so what do I know? My American friends with STEM PhD's cannot get jobs that easily, since they're mostly overqualified for most jobs. Companies don't want brilliant people, they want willing slaves who can follow orders without questioning their superiors, and who are not too mediocre, so that they actually produce something of value. My smart American friends in STEM did a bachelor's at Caltech or Harvard, then went to work for hedge funds at age 22, since that seems to be the only truly attractive career path in the U.S. at the moment. My American friends with PhD's will only have money to start a family when they're 40, and by then their girlfriends will be virtually infertile. What a life!! Who wouldn't volunteer for it?
To add insult to injury, Silly Con Valley moguls collude to keep engineers' salaries low, and housing costs keep exploding, thus locking young engineers in a place where they cannot save enough to be able to switch jobs, and where they have to live with roommates at age 30.
Like I said before, there aren't a lot of Playboy bunnies willing to have sex with broke Reddit omegas for free, either. There is talent, but if you want the talent to work for you, you need to offer something in return.
Here's what American computer scientist and entrepreneur
Philip Greenspun has to
say on the topic:

Adjusted for IQ, quantitative skills, and working hours, jobs in science are the lowest paid in the United States. (...) For whatever reason we've decided that science in America should be done by low-paid immigrants. They seem to be doing a good job. They are cheap. They are mostly guys, like other immigrant populations.
(...)
A good career is one that pays well, in which you have a broad choice of full-time and part-time jobs, in which there is some sort of barrier to entry so that you won't have to compete with a lot of other applicants, in which there are good jobs in every part of the country and internationally, and in which you can enjoy job security in middle age and not be driven out by young people willing to work 100 hours per week.

Another point about Poland and ethnic purity. Isn't there an irony that Poland has had so much emigration to the US, UK and other places? There are MILLIONS of Poles abroad whereas the country itself has not let in nearly as many migrants. Isn't there a hypocrisy for a Pole to claim that they want to keep their "homeland" pure while expecting other places to let Poles in?
You sound like a feminist complaining that it's an unfair double standard to call women who sleep around sluts and men who sleep around studs.
It's not a matter of hypocrisy, it's a matter of interest. It's in Poland's interests to keep immigrants out (to preserve its genetics) and to send its unemployed to the U.S. or the U.K. to work and send money home to their relatives. That way, the Polish security system has less of a burden, and there's more social stability, too.
Moreover, the U.S. is a country of immigrants. The whole point of the Americas is to absorb population from the rest of the world. And, contrary to Poles, as you have clearly shown, many Americans are open-borders fanatics who do not even care about preserving their own country, since flooding the labor markets with horny IRT's is "natural selection" at work.
