Buddy - you are so brainwashed that you mistake CO2 with pollution. Of course there is pollution and those cities must do something about it just like Western cities had done. Tokyo has turned things around and many other cities can if there is will.
BUT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CO2! Nothing whatsoever!
Why are you shouting?
90%+ of smog/air pollution/C02 emissions come from the burning of fossil fuels.
Or are you now arguing against the fundamental principles of physics and chemistry too?
Sorry Cloud, but you've just proved that you don't have a grip on the most basic fundamental aspects of this issue. Fact is,
over 96% of CO2 emitted on this planet is from natural sources.

Sounds like a misunderstanding due to my word choice. I was speaking in reference to smog and air pollution, in that 90%+ of those specific C02 emissions and air pollutants (like in the pics of those polluted cities) come from fossil fuel burning. I wasn’t trying to say where overall C02 emissions come from.

That's a pretty graph. Do you have a STEM degree? Just curious.

I feel bad for you son.
All I'll say is my black friends and I can be eating from the same damn watermelon, they'll be hootin and hollerin about how delicious and sweet it is while I'm over here salting the bitch til it's encrusted.
Yeah, late to the watermelon party

Because I'm struggling to figure out the reason why after hearing that, I'm feeling like I'd rather get fucked in the ass by a Cape Buffalo than ever have to sit through dinner with you. Maybe you can figure it out for me. When you do, let me know. I'll be at Natasha's house."

Temps in the low 60s overnight in the DC suburbs. Heatwave appears to be over. We’ve seen much worse around here.

Im not going to delve into all of the scienctific articles or websites out there as I believe this global climate change is BS and is just a convenient way to get more $$ out of people. You cannot tax the sun and other major mechanisms in place, of which you cannot predict either.
What I'd like to know is during the cooling and heated periods how has this affected human activity? Will we be more violent or less so? Are we going to see empires fall and start an age of fighting?

There hasn't been enough of a weather variation in the past century to affect things either way. A couple of centuries back though we went through a period of cold that crashed harvest and led to hardship in Europe and elsewhere.
Since then, the weather has been warming steadily, which is a good thing. Generally speaking, warmer weather is better.

Right now it's absolutely perfect weather here in New England. Hope it lasts for at least another month.

Nice. Well your climate theories are rather fascinating. I for one would be very interested to see you present your findings at a conference on climate science. In before muh liberal conspiracy. If you have a good argument, they will listen to you.

Unfortunately Churros, academia and the scientific establishment are so deeply politicized that they're not open to evidence that goes against the alarmist dogmas, solids academics like Judith Curry get pushed out.

Apparently the heat wave is world-wide.
Some parts of Japan are recording their highest temperatures in 73 years.

Grand solar minimum (which we're entering) means more extreme weather. Southern Hemisphere began fall and winter very quickly and harshly. Some parts of northern hem are hotter than normal, but much of Canada is still well below (snows in June!). Enjoy the hear wherever you are.
Plant-derived trace ionized minerals are beneficial - I add to coffee or water. Tropical Oasis is a brand I use. Especially if you dehydrate yourself with alcohol or coffee.
I'm more of an apple cider guy these days instead of beers (gluten wrecks your gut).
Coconut water is great for rehydration.
Bananas to replenish potassium.
Magnesium powder ('Mg Calm') to prevent cramping and relieve headaches.
Use earthing / grounding to ensure you're getting restorative sleep and after workouts. It's also good to prevent or minimize jet lag when you travel.
