If you guys think I'm going to stop drinking my beer just because it's a little warm out, I've got news for you...

Well you are drinking to celebrate for a change my man, because you just got a rep point!

And oh wow,. This is some gorgeous Hawaiian weather out here. We got a little volcano smoke, but not too much. Good time to throw some lines in the water, gave a Busch beer and stare at the white girls.

Aloha!

Don't buy the hype. It has snowed in Canada just 2 weeks ago.

Too bad that they came up with that bullshit only when it did not get warmer.

Aloha!

I read it all in science magazines as a kid.

20 years ago I took a hitchhiking ecology student with me. He pointed to all those huge lush German woods we were passing and said: "You see all those trees? They are all dead, just don't know it yet."

Sure takes them a long time to die.

When "science" is hijacked by global and monetary interests, then you get 61 genders - it's all scientific you know. And when you are to pay Al Gore climate taxes for human activity which encompasses the equivalent of a few volcanoes while discarding the sun's activity, then you should know that you are being conned. They are the modern equivalent of the priests who demanded money, virgins and blood sacrifice or the sun would not rise.

Btw - Kona's Volcano likely blasted more carbon gases into the atmosphere than Hawaii's population produced in the last 20 years. #taxvolcanoes

This merits the question; which country/city has the best climate, (globally) throughout the whole year?

“33 measured degassing volcanoes emit a total of 60 million tons of CO2 per year.” Link

Compared with human emissions, which are roughly 1200 tons per second (100,000,000+ million tons /day) and no, there is really no comparison between volcanos vs humans.

Do you have any sources for your anti-science claims that aren’t crackpot YouTube videos or anecdotal evidence? Global warming is a non-partisan issue that affects all humans, why pretend otherwise?

Just search for “Mediterranean” climates.

Also includes Chile along the mid coast.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

But make sure you have a film lined up for that almost mythical moment -- still eons away -- when the daylight finally and slowly dissolves and gives way to a hot and nasty darkness. What better than, say, a screwball comedy from 1941 called "Bedtime Story" that slakes your eyes with a black and while that just a few hours before you would not have believed was possible?

This warrants an intervention by the French Grammar Gendarmerie Lizard, it's languor, not longueur (=length in French), from the French verb languir, which means to languish.

As long as San Diego isn't on fire, it generally has some of the best weather in America. It isn't paradise though. There are problems just like anywhere else. Also don't forget that fresh water is not as abundant as in other areas in the US.

PSA

Eat watermelon to stay hydrated and to keep your dick hard as fuck.

https://www.webmd.com/erectile-dysfuncti...l-viagra#1

Quote:Quote:

Watermelon may be a natural Viagra, says a researcher. That's because the popular summer fruit is richer than experts believed in an amino acid called citrulline, which relaxes and dilates blood vessels much like Viagra and other drugs meant to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).

"We have known that watermelon has citrulline," says Bhimu Patil, PHD, director of the Fruit and Vegetable Improvement Center at Texas A&M University, College Station. Until recently, he tells WebMD, scientists thought most of the citrulline was in the watermelon rind. "Watermelon has more citrulline in the edible part than previously believed," he says.

How could watermelon be a natural Viagra? The amino acid citrulline is converted into the amino acid arginine, Patil says. "This is a precursor for nitric oxide, and the nitric oxide will help in blood vessel dilation."

Shiiiiiiiiiit! Time to stop making fun of d00ds eating watermelon, and start using it to pipe down women.

BTW, for you dudes with no gal to bone nearby, don't sit around eating this alone obviously.

< How can anyone not love watermelon? It's a super-fruit as far as I am concerned.

And now it has other beneficial properties?

Family trip to VA way back when, we stopped roadside to buy a "sugar baby" watermelon. Kids were about 6 at the time and they still talk about how good it was.

Thanks for reminding me...totally forgot about that. Acid rain, over-population, global warming (now global climate change), cutting 6-pack plastic rings (which I still do to this day). I wish I remembered all the ridiculous things schools taught us.

I spent last weekend and the 4th standing in waste deep beautiful blue water on Lake Michigan off the sand dunes. People don't realize how much West Michigan shoreline has the most beautiful beaches for 2 months out of the year.
...drinking beer. I'll take the 90' weather.

In the evening I can drive to a stream and go trout / steel-head fishing, although I'd prefer a little cooler temps for that. Maybe head up for some middle-of-nowhere camping on a trout stream.

All I'll say is my black friends and I can be eating from the same damn watermelon, they'll be hootin and hollerin about how delicious and sweet it is while I'm over here salting the bitch til it's encrusted.

I'll add another: Mandatory recycling (in particular plastic, electronic waste, and paper). The majority of the 'recycling' collected in the USA, Europe, and Australia went to Asia (about 60% to China). The handling and processing of the scrap turned into an environment disaster.

China basically banned scrap imports in January. Vietnam, India, and Thailand are restricting / banning waste imports as well. In Thailand, there are 400 containers of E-waste that is now coming back.

Plastic and paper is now being land-filled or is piling up in storage.
