Yeah, I have no expectations whatsoever about picking up in NK.

Your only chance is with the tour guides and it has been done before.

I know a guy once that did smash in NK. He was on a tour and managed to convince his tour guide to go to his hotel room which in itself a big risk for her, and then managed to smash, a pretty tough feat.

However, logistically it wouldn't be THAT hard, the tour guides (including the women) oftentimes hang out and get pretty drunk with you in the hotel with guests, sometimes till the wee hours of the morning (obviously this depends on the personality of the guides), its part of their job. Really though you'd probably get less LMR from a devout nun thats been in the covenant since the nixon years, as at least she doesn't have to worry about being executed for a bang (or at a bare minimum losing one of the cushiest jobs in the country and going back to the farm to pick turnips haha). Not to mention the female guides are used to being hit on and harassed RELENTLESSLY by DPRK tourists which are 95% male, especially on young pioneers. If Noko female tourguides had facebook they would def be on the #metoo train lol. Thought you were the first person to think up of hitting on a female DPRK tour guide, lol come on bro, they get harassed more then the hostel chick at the front desk.

I also know a girl once that got a male guide back to his room and smashed but I mean, you know, being a girl thats hardly a feat. She said it was her goal to bang one dude from every nationality, come on we gotta admire ladies that count cock carosels by countries instead of by bangs just like us forum members, lol.

When you go to the central pyongyang train station or the amusement park and stuff like that you will get plenty of thirsty stares from cute girls, similar to the type you get in SE Asia. Shame you can't just go off to NK your own honestly I really don't think it be that hard to get your DPRK flag if you could be in Pyongyang on your own. Contrary to popular belief North Korean girls do indeed, have vaginas.

Naughty Nomad,

Could you please disclose what you are getting out of this?

Keep in mind everyone on this forum, and the internet, has email. The actual company offering these tours can be contacted very easily.

I'd like to know the motivation for going to North Korea honestly. Is it a "danger" appeal because it's a dictatorship that talks a lot of shit about nukes? I've always respected Naughty Nomad's balls to go to dangerous countries and he's one of the only guys that has given quality information on Africa, but I don't see the positives here.

If you were allowed to explore the country on your own, than I can understand. But, it seems like these guys just take you to a statue, museum, bowling alley, amusement park, and then let you have some drinks. I've never been there, but based on everything I've heard, it's just nothing more than a propaganda tour of things you can do almost anywhere.

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

You can also get some quality information about Africa, Somalia in particular, including organized tours, from this company here: http://www.youngpioneertours.com/tour/so...-day-tour/

I'm sure it's complete coincidence, but they offer a Paddy's Day Tour that starts in Beijing the exact same time as the one the north Korea government contacted the naughty nomad about. Kim Jong Un is a fan.

I hope NN doesn't get into trouble.

On another note, I read a story a few years ago about a couple of Austrian guys who snuck into NK via an entrance on the NK-Russia border only meant for Russian diplomats, bypassing China entirely. They got into trouble with the travel agency they booked the trip through after returning to Austria, though.

No, but seriously. Of course people can go to the tour directly. No difference. Go for it!

I'm organising my own crew for Beijing and NK, and if ppl want to join, they can join, but I'd rather know who I'm rolling with beforehand. I intend on doing this a little differently than most people [Image: smile.gif]

you take the tour to north korea so you can say you've been to north korea. that's the only reason why people go.

Jokes about labor camps and "see you in 10 years haha" aside... statistically speaking you are 3485734857x more likely to get killed driving a Motorbike in Chiang Mai or Bali on your way to pick up your date, or die by slipping on a rock while hiking in Nepal, then have anything happen to you in North Korea. Actually, again, statistically speaking the most dangerous part of your DPRK trip is going to be the taxi ride from your hotel to the Beijing train station.

Anyone who is doing a trekking trip in Nepal or has ever driven a scooter in south east asia has committed more risk of death then someone going to DPRK.

Anyone who has taken a sketchy pill at a rave or concert has also taken more of a statical probability of chance of dying that day then ppl going to North Korea.

Do you think Americans can get their passport revoked if they go but they're a dual citizen? Ie, don't bring the American book?

You should ask the State Department, but my guess is you should be able to go since you are a dual citizen with two passports. Dual citizen means just that - dual.

You still need to bring your US passport with you when you travel because that's the only way you can get back into the US, but of course you run the risk of having it discovered by North Koreans in your hotel room while you're out and about seeing statutes of Kim Il Sung, which is about all that tour is going to be good for anyway. You will not get to do anything unchaperoned and it's likely there is zero night life to speak of for people not connected to the party elites in Pyongyang.

Hence, I can't imagine much of a party beyond drinking bad soju in a crappy hotel lobby with a few forum members and no chicks to speak of. There have to be better ways to spend St. Patty's.

No way, count me out.

While it would be great bragging rights, and the thrill and excitement of the risk and a little bit interesting to see a few things...

Its going to be a highly structures, chaperoned quarantined tour they permit you to see so very little.

I don't think the risk/reward payoff is very high for this destination.

Catching the Trans siberian from St petersburg to Vladivostok, and I'm in.

I've gone on many YPT tours before, they operate in this fashion.
  • Get 5-6 people together, and you can all come at 25-30% off
  • Get 5-6 to pay full price and you can go for free, and if you bring even more they might even give you a kickback.
Being that he is asking everyone to pay the full price, I would imagine the second scenario would be the case.

I've actually had long conversations with the owner of the tour company that naughtynomad is using and he explained to me how when a DPRK tour has 6 or less people, they lose money, 6-13 they make a little money, 13-14+ they make big time money.

Therefore, there is no "special tour," especially because of economies of scale a tour company makes far more money when there are more people in the group. It would make absolutely zero sense for them to make a separate tour just for him and make 2 tours that are barely break even instead of 1 tour that makes bank.

If OP wants to go on a free trip to North Korea at least he should be candid and let people know whats in it for him. Simply put OP is trying to get people to signup so he can go for free and when being called out on it he is being glib and disingenuous about it, making jokes about "free posters from Kim"

I see naughtynomad has his own community and following, why not promote the trip there, where he is welcome to do as he pleases?

OP may think its not a big deal to make this promotional post. But the problem is, as someone who is very active on many entrepreneurship, pickup, surfing forums etc, is that when one person starts doing this, then another person thinks its ok, and its a very fast slippery slope until the whole forum becomes one giant pitchfest, especially in regards to these "trips".

At one point I was part of an eCommerce forum and literally every other post was about some "trip" until they just had to ban people from posting about any trips altogether since the quality of the forum was deteriorating so fast.

I see naughtynomad has his own forum, how would he like it if random people started showing up in his community/forum that he worked so hard to build and started pitching people there without asking or compensating him? I'm sure he would not like that very much. So why not hold oneself to the same standard in other people's communities.

I'm just fucking with him. I know he means well though.

Let me be clear. The company emailed me offering a free trip for a potential endorsement and an unbias review. The guy bought my book and is a legit fan (well, so he tells me. Maybe I'm a sucker). I will make no profit here. I'm not asking anybody for money. And if I can get a group discount, everybody will benefit.
I didn't link direct to site to avoid oddballs. I want to organise my own thing for Beijing and potentially beyond. Also I have certain way I want to do this.

Anyway, I have gotten a few Pms. If more are interested let me know [Image: smile.gif]

I've been contacted by a NK government tour agent (secret fan of my blog) asking if I would be interested in a trip. I'm thinking of organising a gang, but it would depend on the numbers.

Considering the initial offering contains lies, I sure hope people are not taking this seriously.

Naughty Nomad, you run a blog about banging girls in other countries, right? Do you actually have any pictures of yourself with hot girls in said countries? Like, just one pic? Just one? Or no? Do you have any pictures you yourself took in the countries you talk about on your blog? They seem like stock images or something?

(Innocent face.) Hmm. I wonder why?

Usually, I would make a joke or post a funny gif about the total lie you have told everyone in your opening post which you admitted was total bullshit only 5 days later. But in this case, as you are asking forum members to put themselves in a potentially very dangerous and risky situation, so I'm going to treat this very seriously.

Firstly, how the fuck are people supposed to trust you with anything if you can't even tell the truth in your opening post ? The DPRK and its government employees do not randomly contact PUA travel bloggers offering them invitations to to "pub crawls". This is ludicrous. There is no "Paddy's day" in the DRPK, much less will they let foreigners go anywhere to drink alcohol away from one of the few official foreigner's hotels and small surrounding grounds on Yanggakdo (Yanggak) Island which is totally isolated from the rest of Pyongyang cause it's in the middle of the Taedong River.

The only other option is perhaps on a DPRK approved cruise ship which will make sure you stay on it.

More importantly, the "company" you refer to in the 2nd quote on the 13th of November is a western run travel agency and has nothing to do with the official DPRK tourism office.

Secondly, to anyone thinking of having "fun" on such a trip....the DPRK is the LAST country on earth you want to get wasted and drunk in and do things in an inebriated state. Honestly, it might be less dangerous to get publicly drunk in Saudia Arabia.

Thirdly, this is not the first time naughtynomad has misled forum members about his intentions and hidden his own selfish motives.

For anyone who is interested in the history of naughtynomad's lack of transparency regarding his true intentions and tarnished reliability, read this post and the relevant thread behind it:

This veiled vague ominous phrase is the only honest statement you have posted here.

Guys, stay safe, do your homework, and if you really want to visit the DPRK do so with a person you trust with your own life.

You're being offered a free trip to get other people from this forum to go with you, but you didn't disclose that fact until you were questioned. This is stealth affiliate marketing, and definitely against the rules of the forum.
