OPs messages are pretty inconsistent. Have seen him to claim to "only" bang 9s and 10s in Japan (or maybe it was 8s and 9s but you get the point), claim he was some "master PUA" on some other forum (whatever that means), etc and now is posting in the "Newbie Section" about having oneitis over a hooker
Insightful post. Yep, it is curious how someone can apparantly have enough pickup skill to "average 2-3 bangs/week... mostly 7-9 range" (source)... yet still be unwilling to consider the immense problems of investing in a whore. In retrospect I gotta give credit to UlteriorMotive and Off The Reservation, a master of perception, for calling it in September last year;

Downside of parties is girls are mostly 7-8 range. I had one 9. She barely spoke English. Most I wouldn't bang again nor approach on the street. But hey they spoke English and practically showed up on my doorstep.

IMO you shouldn't be allowed to post or at least give advice or talk authoritatively in any manner without proving that you get laid. But alas it's the internet and if what I said was the case, this forum (and all like it) would be awfully quiet
This kind of prerequisite would definitely lead to a higher standard of game advice. Back when my local, private pickup groups were active, real-life friendships formed the backbone of these tight-knit communities and 'mental masturbation' was strongly discouraged. This referred to:
- Keyboard jockeying - namely, spending a lot of time writing about pickup rather than actually doing it,
- Wholly-speculative theorizing - e.g: "Here's my new routine, haven't tried it yet but you can use it bruv, it's gonna be killer",
- Premature generalizations - "I banged 2 Danish girls and they were both easy, so all Danish women are hoes", and,
- The classic, overstated bragging - saying you banged a 9 when she was more like a 7 with makeup on.
Although it is unfeasible to manage a large, public forum with such strict controls, thankfully RVF has a great rep system that allows you to see who has been verified in person. Beyond someone's post count and reps given for contributions online, it's those offline connections that really establish a poster's credibility. Teedub puts it bluntly in his signature, "If you've never met a forum member - I'll assume you're lying", while Birthday Cat notes:

Here is a tip for new guys. When guys are giving game advice - click on their rep points and see how many RVF guys they've met. There is a very clear correlation between bad advice and guys who haven't met anyone.
I'm not saying that a guy who has met a lot of RVF guys will always give good advice. There is still bad advice, guys who over-estimate their knowledge, guys who exaggerate their success, etc. However, there is some accountability and guys who have met several RVF guys are much less likely to give bad advice or give advice that is based solely on their very limited experience.
This theme of networking flows into another point:

Not blaming RVF. Just pointing out that I made a thread about how it can be isolating traveling internationally fulltime. It's hard to connect with like minded people. Maybe I should get a travel buddy to try the baller lifestyle blah blah. The responses were to keep traveling alone but try to contribute more on data sheets and connect with other members.
Something to consider is that Travel Museums was registered here for almost a year and had reportedly been travelling the entire time. In response to his thread 'Travel Alone or Find a Wing?' I wrote a how-to guide for meeting RVF members. It is difficult to imagine being on the road for an entire year, and even with a modest effort, find it "hard to connect with like minded people". If you're stuck in a small town for financial or other reasons then it can be difficult to engage with men's/pickup groups, hence the particular beauty of these forums for men who are more isolated. However, if you're in a mid-sized city or even better if you're globe-trotting, there are plenty of opportunities to make real-life friends. Just look at the rep sheets of guys like Vinny, Linux, Dantes, Irish, Bushido, Gmac, Tokyo Joe and others to see what is possible here.
Last, what really caught my eye about Travel Museums was that his decade-long travels had reportedly been funded through, among other things, a location-independent business. If true, this is a fantastic achievement. With this in mind I just think, above all else, it's a shame that his potential for connecting and adding value here (e.g., through sharing travel journals and especially intel on online business creation) was submerged under the weight of his stubborn fixation on a gold-digger. Seems like a wasted opportunity.
