That's exactly why I'm moving there. I'll be making double what I'm making now and this job will have me traveling 3 months out of the year. I plan on putting my apartment up on Airbnb when I'm gone and using Couchsurfing as well. Most likely I'll be moving to Marina area.

I've only been a few times but the talent is way better than Chicago. I guess it depends on your tastes but I like Asian, Latina, mixed, black as well as white girls.

Initially I wanted to call this out as bullshit. But then I woke up sober and realized it made sense. You're are 6 foot plus asian boy making presumably 200k+ with fukn pathetic competition in SF. I've spent a good amount of time in SF on my company's dime last year and I see how easy at the same time how hard it is. You gotta have the right vibe.

Come to LA nd DVY and I will make your admirable 40...200.

Comprehensive datasheet there Baffled King

I'm flying to Vegas from Singapore for a bachelor party end of May and will likely stop off for a couple days in San Francisco on route. Roughly around about 24th-26th May.

So if anyone is around and keen to meet for a beer let me know. I'm not overly fussed about chasing skirt given I'll be in Vegas at the weekend and from the sounds of things pickings are pretty slim in SF anyway. But lets see what happens [Image: wink.gif]

Man Francisco is a beautiful city but I would never live there. Disgustingly expensive and it's a liberal extremist city full of ugly women with flat booties, feminists, and fruitcakes.

I also hear farting in Man Francisco is viewed as a gay mating call.

Baffled King, I have a buddy who works in IT and he moved to San Francisco for a year for work. He had a high paying job but after a year just couldn't stand that city so he moved back here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
He said it is 10000 times better here because:
- rent is apparently just stupid expensive in SF. Especially if you want to live in a "cool" area.
- He said there are barely any girls at all. Like 7-1 ratio of guys - girls in clubs.
- The girl's aren't even that hot there

I thought he was just exaggerating, but after seeing your thread I'm thinking he might be right. Is it really that bad over there?
For the record, I only like white girls and I don't find asian girls attractive in the slightest, so it's a good heads-up for me to never go near that city with the intention of gaming.

Grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference

I would not come here for game if you only like white girls.

I also don't think SF is that bad, 7:1 ratio is a huge exaggeration. I didn't find LA to be that much better but I feel like LA is a very exclusive place and you need to be in the know to have access to the higher circles. I am pretty much in the know in SF.

I think the key to my success is that I work on my game and actively try. I don't waste my time bitching about feminism or politics or western women. The world is the way it is, go do your best. You can make game work almost anywhere, certainly any large American city. If you need to move to a third world country to do some sort of social status arbitrage to get laid then you really need to work on your technical game.

I walked into a bar/restaurant in West Hollywood called Barney's Beanery on a Sunday night a couple weeks ago, because all the PUA guys keep recommending to go to venues in West Hollywood, and I krap you not, there was about a 12:1 ratio of guys to girls.

I am dead serious. No exaggeration whatsoever.

And consider this...West Hollywood is supposed to be the HOT SPOT to meet women! [Image: tard.gif]

The ROI on day game in LA is pretty terrible but the ROI on night game is absolutely dreadful. Complete waste of time. You likely won't even find a girl, but when you do, good luck pulling her when she drove to the venue from 45-60 minutes away with multiple friends in one car.

Before anyone plans to move here (SF area), I highly recommend you airbnb for a couple weeks and check things out. This place has changed for the worse and I've known the Bay Area as an adult for two decades. I'm not 6'3" and not willing to deal with closet feminists or the next "lean in" type. Feminine women are so rare as to be snapped up quick. If you can find and work a niche, good for you, but rent, traffic, the "California is the greatest state and SF beats every other city" attitude will wear on you unless you just aim for poon, period. I even feel an anti-male vibe in the parking lot at Whole Foods where I need to be careful to avoid being run over by women in a Porsche SUV or a Prius, pretending they don't see me but making sure you see them and stop. Even 2010-2012 felt far better. Maybe my age is showing but I do feel the sausage fest ratios have absolutely produced a "49er" population: 4s who think that they're 9s. I can't wait to leave.

Well said, bro.

It's funny because LA, despite no one knowing about it, has its fair share of 29ers, and I'm not talking about the Rams. I'm talking about 300 pound Mexican women who could double as refrigerators that have the entitlement of Victoria's Secret models.

Ok let's get something straight here real quick about LA, before you all continue the pity train. There is a never ending supply of tons and tons of hot women from around the country and world that supplies LA year round especially from Mar-Oct . Never have I been to a venue in LA especially in the Weho or Westside that didn't have atleast a 40 percent women to men ratio.

Like it's been stated before you better have something going for yourself in LA to reap the benefits such as good looks, money, or a certain niche (struggling actor ,hipster, promoter, bartender, personal trainer, connections into hotspots). Lastly, those fat Mexican chicks know to stay they jelly ass in the Valley (NorthRidge, Panorama City) and East side where us playas have no business frequenting anyways.

What does all this bitching about gender ratios or attitudes accomplish?

Is the key to living a good life just giving up on game and moving to the Philippines or the FSU to sponsor chicks?

Getting top tier women in any country is always going to be hard if you are not a top tier guy or have top tier game, get over it. If you want an easy time getting the local 6s, then yeah, maybe SF or LA is a bad choice for you, but I can't relate to that mentality.

Based on what i've heard, fresh grads / new entrys have far more success in other cities that are claiming to be the "new silicon valley".. there are numerous of them, including Denver, Austin, and some other 2nd-tier cities within Texas. If you're just getting into the field i'd say the Bay Area is too saturated unless you roll in from a top university or have 10+ years experience

Regarding L.A. vs. SF, L.A. has superior women than SF, but are simply too spread out and logistics are really discouraging for someone coming in from outside. I haven't been to SF in a few years but I loved the women there (at the time) But if this forum says things done changed then things done changed.. in my opinion the males are such betas you have no fucking competition in SF..
.

The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary.

I'll actually be in San Francisco all next week.

If anyone wants to meet up for a drink. Let me know.

This thread has a lot of data. I'm gonna read through it a couple times. Hopefully find some cool spots.

In between time... I actually wanna hit up some of the beaches and see the scenic views

I'm not getting the horrible feedback that people are talking about.

Outside of the crazy liberals.. I'm getting hit on both on and offline by women.

My tinder is blowing up with Asian and white girls wanting to meet.

Quality isn't A1, but it's not land whale status.

I find SF girls more "real" than LA girls if that makes sense, like they've seen things and experienced real life instead of life in a bubble. Kind of remind me of New York girls (although not as attractive on average).

Bunch of hipsters all over though. Funny enough, it didn't seem like the whole city was overrun by gays or whatever the stereotype is. I think they all stay in the Castro district or are just interspersed? People make it seem like its Sodom and Gomorrah. I don't think I could live there, I don't think its the girls that live there.

The dudes all over the city seem like dorks and they get annoying to be around when trying to do anything (in the words of G-Manifesto, there are a bunch of Weesh dudes). There's just some kind of weird attitude/passive aggressiveness. The girls tend to be cool if you can handle their liberal leanings (I could care less) but the guys are all tools (I guess it makes it easier for outsiders).

You likely are good looking and have quality pictures. I'm handsome, but chubby with mediocre pictures. I did not do well in SF on Tinder. I did better in person. With Tinder I consistenly pulled 5's and 6's. If I was in better shape and made and effort with the photos... I might do similar to you.

My overall point is that not everyone has the same experience.

Generally I don't care how "liberal" a girl is either. The only issue I've seen is that the very liberal girls want to be victims... they wear it like a badge of honor among friends. For Example, Lena Dunham made up a rape in her book in order to connect with her readers.

My point with this is that I now have 3 friends who routinely bang liberal chicks that have been accused of rape. One in particular is my cousin and I am very sure that he was just very persistent in overcoming LMR... and the girl didn't decide she was "raped" until he stopped talking to her 3 days later.

I suggest that you be as anonymous as possible if you plan to run through this kind of woman. You may only run into issues with 1 out of every 200... but if you have high numbers then you should be thinking about this. These girls hate PUA guys.

Bummer about the ban, this is a great data layout for the city.

It's true the ratios aren't great, but you really have to consider the only ratio that matters- girls looking to put out vs guys that can pull. SF has a decent amount of easy girls, and very few guys with game.

As far as bogus rape charges go, it's not really on my radar (LTR + Rape accusations are generally used to counter sexual regret/shame, which is not socially present in SF culture)

Should probably add that after bar food joints are prime places if you hit 2 am and are striking out

SF would be a pretty awesome place overall if it wasn't for the dating situation. Great weather, great place to make money, everyone is new so it's easier to make friends, etc. If you push yourself to become sr eng or staff eng at a big co, you can be making +$300k/yr . Split it with a room mate and your paying $1500/month for a place while making $300k/yr. Not so bad

Dating in SF just means you will have to put in more work than you would elsewhere. You treat it like a job, get sales prospects and push people through the funnel. And in this place your going to have to work 2x harder to get that sale.

Edmonton is probably one of the better places for dating in Canada, not surprised your friend found it a bit of shock in comparison.

$300k a year? I know some software engineers hitting low 100,000 but after rent and taxes they are pretty much living like a guy making 65k in the midwest
