Yes the jabronis in this thread are sacrificing the fate of the world's culture for Candyland Piss Water.
I would tell them to look deep into the mirror. They would probably see the 100 or so different microbrew empty bottle collection sloppily displayed on shelves behind them and remember to run to catch the afternoon test testing of new Creme De Flor Bushenell Rouge Pilsner.
I have you all in my prayers.

This is a promising thread but Travesty's righteous fury is cracking me up.
The weirdest craft beer I've tasted was a Hibiscus and Lotus infused pale ale last December. Pretty good.

Weirdest craft beer I've ever seen was by Dogfish Head Brewery in Delaware. Beer made with an enzyme only found in human saliva.

Anyone else interested in craft Lagers and Pilseners? I feel like the last ten years have mostly been IPA after IPA.
I'm fond of Victory Prima Pils. Just picked up a case of Sierra Nevada Summerfest.
I also give a thumbs up to Weihenstephaner from Germany.

I'm under the impression people who drink those bitter nasty hoppy beers are just convincing themselves it tastes good so they can claim to have a "refined" taste. Really most of those small-batch microbrew beers just taste like soapy water.
If I'm going to drink something that tastes that bitter I at least want it to get me loose with just a couple glasses. Whiskey or Bourbon is my craft beer of choice.

Well we have a whiskey thread, too. I'm partial to Rye and Bourbon.

Not really a micro-brew but I really have an out of this planet experience every time I drink Westmalle Triple. Since it is a Trappist abbeys, the brewery is not open to the public; so the next best thing is to visit the restaurant across the street from the brewery. I stopped by last year. They offer a exclusive brew called Extra available only at this location.
I am a sucker for Belgian Triple beers ... specially the more dry ones like the Westmalle and Chimay.

Ahhh Beer Snob fights are the best. Before I became redpill, I was very active in a car club. Members would have big fights over beers. Stouts and barleywines were common agitators. The actual Irish, German, Danish, and Scottish guys would get into it big time over beers I had no idea what they were talking about. They were far more travel savvy than I was, as I was pretty young. I would sip my blue moons, Saint Arnold's, or bud light and enjoy the fights until they made fun of whatever I was drinking.
We had guys hiding mini kegs of something rare as fuck, whispering shit like don't let those idiots see this shit. Come over by the car so we can tap this bitch.
Good times.

A "craft" vs. "crafty" debate could be fun.
Kind of par for the course with these things.

Breckenridge was hard to get stuff back in the mid 2000s.
