Stephen A Smith and Deion Sanders have really nice well paying jobs, for them to speak out about it would put those jobs in jeopardy. There is a name for it and it is called "cooning", now I don't know how old you are but I can provide many examples of this over the years.
Just because Big Ben was not convicted does not mean he is innocent.
I don't feel animosity towards Cooper or Incognito, I just assume most people think like them.

Now back to football - my Chargers lost again.

Playcalling and offense were putrid. Defense held serve to 10 pts and still no win? As soon as Harbaugh chose to kick from the 2yd line instead of going for it, I knew the day wasn't going to be great.

Wild card is probably best one can hope for. Damn the Seahawks, they're going to easily run away with the division.

Packers on third QB in 6 days.

They have gotten lucky a few times, Seahawks not as good as the record. My hope is the Niners get hot near the end and pull a NY Giants move.

Seahawks have played the majority of their road games and are nearly unbeatable at home. Their goal is top seed an they are already positioned to take the division just by the way things line up. You can't drop games at home in the NFC West, wild car is all the Niners can lock up now unless the Seahawks completely implode.

Falcons are a complete joke. Expect a complete barn burning of that coaching staff this off season.

San Fran has no shot at the division now. They did everything right in keeping NO below 30 and out of the end zone as much as possible. What SF couldn't do was move the ball and get some solid scores. They did it almost all right but left it to fluke kickers to seal their fate.

Thankfully the Bears have always had a clutch kicker in Gould. One of the few enduring bright spots over the years. Cutler has to go. 20 bucks he would've found a way to lose to the Ravens by throwing an interception at a critical moment.

And the Lions and Packers lost. What a great Sunday.

^ Reminds me of times spent playing pickup football when younger. There was always that one QB you never blitzed, because there was a house rule that QB could only run if blitzed and that bastard would hit paydirt every time.

Alright, fellas. Let's do some playoff predictions. Put your money where your mouth is. I have royally fucked this up in my life, except the years I predicted the Cards & Packers to go the Superbowl. For the Cards, I was just a Kurt Warner homer.

2Wycked predictions:

NFC:

1. Seahawks
2. Panthers
3. Bears
4. Eagles
5. Saints
6. Lions

AFC:

1. Broncos
2. Indianapolis
3. Patriots
4. Bengals
5. Chiefs
6. San Diego

Sure, a small bit of this is trollish -- as I want to spark a discussion -- but I think that all of these teams are good enough to be in the playoffs, yes, even the Chargers.

My stray thoughts thus far in the NFL:

1. Tom Brady doesn't look good without his supporting cast. It is true for any QB, but at his age, I think the supporting cast matters more than when he was younger.

2. Niner's -- outside their defense -- don't look right. I don't see the same smash-mouth running game. Kaep looks held back by limited play calling - they have to open the passing game up and let him make youthful mistakes so he can grow.

3. Lions are riding purely on Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush, some pass rush and their version of Drew Bledsoe, otherwise known as Matthew Stafford. Johnson's brilliance is carrying this team.

4. Philip Rivers was supposed to be old news - he looks like a new man.

5. Green Bay is all Aaron Rodgers. He is the best QB in the league, although Tolzien hasn't been terrible at all - I doubt you could do much better off the practice squad.

6. Fuck the Giants.

7. Fuck the Cowboys.

8. Bears have done their utmost this season. Imagine this offense with last season's defense. Many squads see great defenses fade as offenses gain credibility. That is the nature of the game

9. The Chiefs have to be the most overrated team in recent memory. They tore up a weak schedule combined with backup QB's and came out the other end at 9-0. They need to open up the passing game and see what happens otherwise they will be one-and-done in the playoffs.

10. Andrew Luck is the real deal. Still, his team has huge holes and Trent Richardson was NOT worth a 1st rounder.

11. The Texans & Falcons imploded in a way fans won't forget. Despite that, they have too much talent + top picks to not not matter next year.

12. How is Greg Schiano not fired yet?

13. Cam Newton has caught too much flak. He is inconsistent, like Cutler & McNabb, but will win you games. He has a big arm like those guys and is a QB I would love to have as a Bears fan. Panthers can make some playoff noise with him and that fearsome defense.

14. Fuck the Saints. Rob Ryan's defenses always implode.

15. Vikings need to move AP to the highest bidder. That team needs a QB in the worst way and need improvements in the secondary.

16. The Cards are not surprising, as that defense is strong. They will push for a playoff spot, but will probably not get it. If they do, they deserve it.

17. Seahawks are vulnerable because their offensive line is incredibly weak. A team with a solid pass rush could doom their championship hopes.

18. Bengals have many injuries on defense like the Bears, but unlike the Bears, they don't have the offensive weapons & scheme like the Bears. Pretenders, at this point.

19. Long shot - Jacksonville turns it around with their QB this spring and matters in two years. Why not? I am sure Jacksonville's fan will appreciate the support.

Original prediction: Bears v. Bengals

New prediction: Panthers v. Broncos

The Bucs are playing hard for Greg Shiano. They have had two weeks of hard effort and are playing better. The stomping of the Falcons was big and the team is showing a upward swing. Not sure why anybody would want to fuck with that. People over shot the Bucs, they were supposed to be shitty but are making strides.

Burn down the barn in Vikings land or Houston. Lets talk about how a complete cluster fuck the Texans are, Schuab is a blind bat and they are wasting away Watt's prime years not being able to play up to their potential.

Hey Kurt Warner Homer (2wycked),

My Niners are making it. So fix your post!

I agree with your comments. How can every other team in the league pick up the pash rush/blitzes but somehow the Niners, which had a great line last year, can't give Cap enough time to throw. I mean he adds to the problem by his indecisiveness. I hope for a NYG style run into the Superbowl.

He just means over the years he has been guessing the champs.

That goes for the Packers too. By the time Thanksgiving comes my Lions will have at least a two game lead.

Just read a few articles indicating that the NFL is looking to locate franchises in Los Angeles and London, specifically the latter would play at the stadium built for the Olympics. Interesting.

Finally back in the winners circle! San Diego baby!!

Crazy that we concede 38 points against a team with one of the best defense in the league and still pull out the win.

Love your work Rivers
