An American girl walks into a Kiev cafe.........

Reading this today on Yahoo about international travelers to the US. The surprise they get when interacting with people in the United States. This statement stood out the most of all of them.

"The women are a little uptight, and they don't appreciate chivalry. “US etiquette prohibits flirting with a woman who is not your girlfriend or wife. If you are not acquainted with a woman, whether she be in a restaurant, on the street, or on the subway, do not look at her legs, etc. Americans could easily call the police on you, even for just ogling her.”

“Welcome and introductions: men and women tend to shake hands. Mutual kissing and kissing ladies' hands is not accepted. Also, women play a greater role in business. Often they insist to be treated exactly as an equal and not as a lady. In this regard, it is not acceptable to be excessively gallant, and you should avoid personal questions (do not find out whether she is married).”

That sums it up well!

Saw that article on Yahoo! and the Chinese perception that Americans "like to follow the rules" really had me laughing. I've lived in Japan and when it comes to following rules, the Japanese have us beat. But when it comes to breaking the rules, the Chinese are on top!

Got a booger in your nose? No biggie, snot rocket FTW! Don't care what country they happen to be in -- it's all the same place from their PoV!

Hahaha! Yeah I know what you are talking about! I lived in Japan for 2 years and the Japanese are the most orderly people probably on earth. I experience the Chinese not following the rules every week when I travel into Shenzhen from Hong Kong for business. Its crazy from jumping ahead in line, to spitting everywhere, etc.

Am fascinated by your reports on Kiev and Lviv. Thank you!
You helped me recall why I did not much like Kiev or Odessa, and I took them off my list. Added Lviv at the top.
Looking forward to your reviews on Kherson and Nikolaev. They are completely unreported here, so far as I know.

Why is that? Since Roosh and many others come to the opposite conclusion, do you care to explain why you have reversed your preferences? I'm curious (and considering the same conclusions - but I'm not yet firm about the particular reasons that lead me to agree with you, myself.)

I will have the Kherson report up by tonight. Also I think this is the best time to go to Ukraine since everyone else is too scared to travel there. Which means more women for who ever lands there.

I am thinking of going there at the end of this month.

I would hold out till June. Elections are May 25th on the current path the government is taking. Or go sooner than the end of May.
If it was any other year it would have been the best time to drop in Kiev. The colleges are just about to go on summer break and the women are starting to wear the short skirts.

Cal, as another veteran of Ukraine I disagree with your statement about "now being the time to go as no one else is going". Half the clubs and bars are dead, especially in the touristy areas. None of my online girl contacts are going out (except to listen to the protesters from time to time). While you will have fewer western sex tourists & Turks to contend with the problem is that a lot of the street thugs and neo-nazis are out in the streets now and law and order has weakened. Are you sure you want Roosh members to test that?

I have had this question asked to me a couple of times on PM.
How do the girls react to men of color?
I am paraphrasing it but that's the basic question.
I say all women are different and react to everyone differently.
I have dated many women who never thought they would ever date a black guy.
Just because I do well in Ukraine and Russia, doesn't necessarily mean that the next black guy that comes along will do well also.
I say to gauge your likabalilty before traveling to that country you prefer.
You should put up a profile with pics on a dating site in that country and see how the women interact with you. If you can interact with top notch women on the site then you can do it in real life on the ground. If you cant, you know that the country is not for you to travel to for women.
Its the same with a white guy. If the guy is good looking and dresses well he is liked more. If he doesn't dress well and is not good looking then he isn't liked as much.
If you are a good looking black, asian, indian, arabian, etc. the same applies and vice versa.
Some websites for FSU are

http://www.topface.com
etc.

The most ultimate is Vk.

From the people I have been talking to life is slowly getting back to normal in some spots. It seems most of everything has shifted east. But as you said you should exercise great caution when going there if you want. Thanks for your input.
As for street thugs and neo nazis they have always been there. I have encountered them before in Ukraine and other parts of the world. If you have street wise then you should be okay in those situations.
If you have not then wait till everything dies down. (hopefully mid summer)
I say as I have told many people that you should have some online contacts before going to Ukraine. Its the best way for people to tell you what areas to avoid, the customs, whats happening at the time, plus you are introduced into their social circles.
Well maybe its just a good time for me to go.

Little article from "The Onion"
Quote:Quote:

Following his overnight arrival in Ukraine amid the escalating regional tensions over the the Crimean peninsula, sources confirmed seeing U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry wearing a trench coat and cloaked in shadows at the back of a seedy, smoke-filled Kiev café Tuesday while reportedly awaiting a woman known to him only as Dasha. “All I know is that my contact goes by the name Dasha, and from the dossier I was given, she’s extremely beautiful, deadly, and not keen on making my life easy,” the United States’ top diplomat was reportedly overheard saying between drags of a pencil-thin cigarette held between his pursed lips. “The one thing I do know is there isn’t a chance in hell this secretary of state leaves Kiev without first making nice with Dasha. No, one way or another I need Dasha, and not just because she’s a mysteriously alluring beauty who’s been known to seduce her share of foreign ministers. I mustn’t underestimate her cunning and intelligence either—let’s just say this is a woman who knows a thing or two, particularly about the socioeconomic realities of eastern Europe and the political divisions among the ethnic populations in the region.” At press time, Kerry had reportedly detected the unmistakable scent of rosewood and nightshade, Dasha’s signature perfume.

Kherson

Kherson is an industrial city that sits at the end of the Dnipro River where it empties into the Black Sea. Kherson is a declining city (pop. 275,000) like much of Eastern Ukraine unless you go into the larger cities. Many of the soviet era factories that kept the town afloat have disappeared. Now you have basically the mafia running everything. The major exports are shipbuilding (rapidly declining orders), and women available for marriage (tons of marriage agencies).

Women: Many people have to come to say Ukraine is the capital of mail order brides. This is the area they are talking about, Kherson, Nikolayev, and Odessa. These three areas are synonymous with the mail order bride business. You see the agencies all around downtown Kherson. When I was there I counted six. Since all the men, work for menial wages at the shipyard, hustle, or join the mafia. The women always try to look their best in landing the guy that has joined the marriage agency walking around town.

The women walking around are top notch. You would think for a small city all style or dressing nice would go out the window. Not here in Kherson. When I went out on dates it was hard to keep focus on the girl I was with at the time. I would always be turning my head looking another girl walking by.

The ease of cold approaching is simple in this town. Most of the women I walked up to were very receptive. The only problem you will run into here is the English penetration. You will have very few girls that speak English. The girls you do find that speak English are usually under 25. So it’s imperative to learn some Russian.

It seems like every women in Kherson is looking for a way out. So just by you being an American or from Western Europe your stock raises very high.

I went to a couple of clubs in the area one was on Patona Street on the island with the shipyard (largest club in Kherson) the club had two levels. The bottom one was a type of dive bar with dance floor. The upper floor was more upscale. The two girls I went with said that I would have no problem picking up women here. They also told me flat out they would be all over me since I am young, foreign, and good looking. Low and behold that is what happened. Just by talking to the girls I received great reception and one of the best nights. The ratio in the club was about 60 to 40. Plus you had many girls there dancing alone.

If you come to Kherson you have no competition in landing an 8 or 9. The competition is the marriage agency guys with their interpreters and the local men. With the younger generation you may labeled. Just make up a reason why to be there. The older guys over 40. If you have a money and decent looks. You can land the same women. Just more difficult with someone younger than you in the same room.

Also in that time period I dated 9 different girls. In a small city the places to go without being noticed by another girl or going to a restaurant becomes daunting. You sometimes end up going to the same place you took the last girl. After the second or third time you get the look from the waitress that has served you each time. First it was eagerness and a nice smile. Later it’s you getting labeled. So I wouldn’t stay in this city for more than 2 months if you plan on just gaming. Because each girl is a friend of a friend and word gets around quick. They all went to the same 4 high schools in town. So they all know each other. That’s the thing you have to get around. Especially me being a black guy I stand out. While I was at a restaurant with another girl, a girl I went out with the night before waved hi to me. Luckily the girl I was with didn’t see her or the gesture. She left 5 minutes later. Never heard from her again. Also another girl noticed a friend of hers like a picture of me on Facebook. Jealousy breeds competition. But sometimes you lose out on both in those games.

Places to stay: Just use the sites I recommended in previous post. I stayed right beside the main promenade in downtown Kherson. There are a couple of heap restaurants in the area. The guy I rented from I keep in touch with to this day talking about politics in Ukraine, FSU, and traveling. He rented me the place for $300 for 2 weeks for a large one bedroom. The regular price is $1000 a month on the website. He told about most of the guys he rents to, are over 40 looking for a wife. He mentioned at the time he had 3 guys from Florida, South Dakota, and Germany, in his other apartments he rents out, that week. So no competition for guys under 35. Unless the guy over 40 has money going for him.

Getting there: Kherson is off the beaten path. The only way to get there is by train from Kiev. Most of the time you will be taking the night train. Sine only three trains go there every day. Takes 10-12 hours.
So enjoy Kherson for what it has to offer. Basically just hot women trying to get out. Nothing else to see.
