where do you find the 513s. Macy's doesn't have em, Sears doesn't, JC Penney's Levi's denim bar doesn't even have them either.
Slim jeans
Try the Levi's website.
You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.
well yes they're available there, but I need to try clothes on before purchasing
Urban Outfitters carries 513s.
Currently wearing a pair of 527's, slim fit with a boot cut. I never try shit on, just grab 32/34 Levi's and go, but kinda wish I had tried these.
I did notice the "slim fit" label but figured what the hell as I'm not thick or ripped by any means. Got the boot cut because I wear them for work and pleasure. They are kinda snug on my thighs and ass though. Not horrible but doubt I'll buy any more.
Used to wear 501's exclusively back in the day. May go for a few pairs of those again.

First off, Levi's were never out of style. People went out of style.
550's- Not bad if you are husky or do a lot of squats.
501's- My mainstay for Harley's or cowboy boots.
527's- Bam. Right there with Lucky Brand. They make my ass look good, and girls notice. That's the most important advice I can give you on jeans.
I'm moving away from boot cut right now, and looking for something that showcases my boots.
Hotwheels- I need to teach you jeans fitting game.

In 501's I have no ass.
In 527's I have a bit of an ass so that may be an improvement....
The 501's are more comfortable though.
I actually have a pair of Lucky's that a GF bought me a while back and now that you mention it the fit is similar. And while I prefer the 501's for comfort, it's obvious the broads prefer the 527's/Lucky's for the look.
What is the jeans fitting game Alimama?

Start doing squats. Jeans fitting game:
Troll the mall stores until you find a cute chick working there, and tell her you are looking to try on jeans. Take your time. Then put on a slim pair, walkout and say:
"Do these show my camel toe?"
-----or-----
"Does my butt make these jeans look big?"
-----or-----
Do the club thump in your throat and start dancing like a stripper.
-----or-----
"Stop staring at my butt. You make me feel like a piece of meat".
-----or-----
"Is it ok to try them on? I'm not wearing any panties." Follow with "I don't wanna get anything caught in the zipper."
Girls are bored as shit in those stores, and love the humor. The camel toe opener is 100% bitch shield killer.
Good stuff Ali. Unfortunately I generally buy my jeans at Kohl's and for some reason I rarely ever see a hot broad working there. Probably because it's a big "generic" versus "edgy" store.
Will just have to head to Madison at prowl the malls there. Much better selection of clothes anyway so it will definitely be worthwhile.

I made a Jeans thread a while back
http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-4990.html
I ended up going with Levi's 514 slim fit straight leg and I'm a skinny guy. Should I have picked something else? I tried about 5 different styles and the girl working there and I decided those looked best.

I like the levi 511's. Be sure to size up because they can be tight on your junk.
I don't know. I think the 514's are the tighest I would feel comfortable in. I wouldn't feel right in 511's if there even tighetr all around, especially my dick and balls.
You guy's are missing the point.
What matters most with jeans is what they look like down at your ankle.
Jeans Can't be too big, or too tight, but slim is now in-style. But, it only works if you have a skinny, rockstar body.

Check out Joe's Jeans, can find them in Nordstrom. I got a pair and they look great: dark blue, fits well on thigh AND not all bell-shaped at ankle.
What are some good alternatives to 7 jeans. Mine keep ripping in the growing area. No matter what size I buy.

Edwin, Nudie, A.P.C(if you dont mind breaking in a pair of raw jeans). If breaking in selvedge or raw denim isn't your thing, True Religion, Diesel, G-Star, PRPS and Adriano Goldschmeid are along the same lines as 7. To prevent crotch blowouts try soaking/washing your pants more regularly since the dirt and grime weakens the fabric or have your tailor sew in reinforcements in the crotch area, should be about 10 bucks or so. I've heard of this stuff working for crotch blowouts as well, but never used it myself.

Exactly. I'm not down with straight fit or boot cut below the knees.
I need to find something with a taper below the knee but a larger than slim fit in the thighs. Any recommendations? I can always get them tailored but I'd like to find some other options.
514 slim straight are as tight as I go, they still fit over cowboy boots too. Especially if you're short you have to go for slim jeans to look well proportioned. I'm worried I'll have to switch Levi's somewhere between when my squat strength jumps from one to two plates. Anyone in Montreal should go to Pantalons Superior on St Cath and St Laurent to get $50 Levi's hemmed in the store (they also carry Diesel and maybe another good brand)
Urban Outfitters are having a sale on jeans that end tomorrow. $39 on all these jeans http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/cat..._APP_JEANS
Edit: Turns out they're not shipping the sale to Australia

What does this board think of boot-cut jeans (relaxed/loose)?
I for one absolutely loved baggy jeans back in the day, and have settled for boot-cuts which personally look great on me. Just tried some on today at Express. I refuse to buy into the whole "slim" thing despite my great (but short) build, and wonder if i'm stabbing myself in the foot by going into venues dressed like that. (upper body garments super tight/fitted tho)

Boot cut jeans remind me of bell bottoms. I asked a few girls and they all said they look goofy. You don't have to get super tight jeans, just relaxed ones.
Glad you liked them. I usually buy mine at Macy's back home or the Levi's store in SF
