^ yes to be exact my post wasn't meant as a review of Miami but rather the beach itself and Mango's. I seem to remember the beach as way better but it's been a decade almost.
On a brighter note girls here seem to look around and look back way more than any other western city. Also I went out with a typical Instagram thot that I was set up with yesterday and met a bunch of her friends and the levels of debauchery and open sluttitude on display made me forget Mango's land hippos really quickly.

I wonder how much TV shows effect the popularity of cities?
In the 2000s, they had CSI Miami and Nip/Tuck being very popular Miami-based TV shows. So the hot-popularity obsessed girls will want to live in the locations they see on TV.
Are there any other new Miami TV shows on TV now?
I wonder if shows like CHicago PD/Fire/Med make Chicago more popular to move to, or tv shows based on NYC or Boston, etc. etc.

Great points from Day Game Bang and RDF.
I’d also like to add 1 Hotel to the mix. It was smokeshow central when I was in there.

Day game I think personally ratios of hot girls are higher in EE.
Anyway pros of Miami are:
1- party atmosphere and beach vibes
2- the girls are slutty all the way to the top tier. Seems if you get a GF here you pretty much get a package of threesomes with her girlfriends with her
3- the beach
4- diversity of women of all kinds and backgrounds
5- women seem receptive. I haven't made approaches cause I'm on a family trip and only girl I went out with I was set up with but you do get states and such which doesn't happen in many other cities.
Cons:
1- expensive
2- tacky in a lot of places
3- the hotties are interspersed with a lot of fat wilderbeasts and trashy groups of tourists which you won't get in EE.
4- lots of sleazy promoter type guys. They're ok to have within a city but not when the whole social scene is made up of them.
Lots of these points are just quick observations from a very limited time to I hesitate to be very sure of any of them. I do see the talent in a lot of spots here but the beach and city itself aren't a runway of constant 9s.
Overall I expected more hotties but I also expected to hate the city which I don't. I actually like it and if you make decent money you could potentially build a nice lifestyle here in a first world country.

That's exactly my experience my previous trip and this one. Street and beach talent to an extent isn't there. In the good spots of course there's a lot of talent. But it just doesn't hit you in the face like last time

As I mentioned, I was there for a month in 2008 and didnt return until 2016 and it was night and day. With the exception of the beautiful high rises South of Fifth the whole place just had a seedy feeling to it. And really noticed an increase in drugged out homeless people last time. Everything down there is so old and worn that I can see why people prefer the shiny new high rises downtown.
That being said, one of my favorite spots that hasnt been mentioned is South Pointe Park right around sunset. Walking from South Beach Marina along the water to the pier at the end of the beach was one of my favorite things to do as the sun was going down. Lots of the locals who live in the towers out walking around and walking their dogs, watching the boats coming into the harbor, and the occasional cruise ship going out while the sun set over the Miami skyline. I've been down there for Christmas the last two years - wont be going this year and am starting to miss that feeling of being down there over the holidays.

What are we even debatting here.
South Beach is one of the the best places in the world to game if you factor in logistics, diversity of girls, number of 8.5+girls you can encounter, tourists who fly in everyday, model week in February is just crazy, action and girls DTF on a one night stand basis. And I don't do Instagram game but that should be something as well.
Of course South Beach was probably better 10 years ago, but that's probably the case for every game city in the world. Hobbo's and prostitutes that can rob you by talking to you on the streets yes, Ocean drive trashy yes, but still a great city and we haven't spoke about the weather of the beach.

I’m not doubting that Miami Beach was better 10 years ago...but does anyone have any theory as to why?
I know Curunír theorized that this is a universal phenomenon. But what’s the cause? Is it women becoming more addicted to smart phones, online dating, social media, etc, and as a result, less of them coming out and being social?

This is nothing more then a wild ass guess, but my theory is a lot of modeling work used to be based out of Miami in the winter, hence the models would be there. Combine a bunch of models with the rich, beaches and weather, and the Latin American jetsetter crowd, and you had a great party environment. There was a reality show on MTV in 2006 called 8th and Ocean that followed a bunch of models around as they lived with roommates and tried to get modeling jobs. There were gorgeous, broke girls all over town and of course that attracted the guys. I wonder if the modeling industry is as prominent down there as it used to be. As I mentioned I used to notice them walking around with their books, going to castings and stuff. Do any locals know if the modeling industry is still a big part of SoBe or has it shrunk?
Back in 2016, I took the Tri-Rail from Miami International Airport to Deerfield Beach to meet a friend and I met a half-Chilean half-French model girl from Los Angeles. She actually approached me, while I was waiting on the bench and asked if the Tri-Rail was going toward West Palm Beach. I said yes.
I ended up sitting directly across from her on the Tri-Rail and we chatted for about 30-45 minutes. She told me she was a underwear/bra/panty model and disliked the east coast cities (Miami, NYC) and preferred the west coast (as she is from LA/Cali). I tried to get her number, but she told me she has a boyfriend. She asked for my full name (I don't know why I gave it to her) and I think she Googled me on her smartphone -- right in front of me. I think the second she found out I was early 30's, the conversation ended lol. She was around 21-23, I don't remember exactly.
The mixed race girl was modeling in Miami for at least 6 months.

What time do the hotel bars get busy at night? Did a tour of them around 11 and all were quiet still.
Hit up bodega and it was pretty decent. A much better alternative to Mango's.

If clubs get busy between 11:30 pm - 1 am, hotel bars should be the same? 12 am is safe bet, wait 1 hour.

@Beirut, have you been to a bar/club in Brickell or Wynwood yet? If not, just Uber/Lyft there

^ nope although like everyone said that's probably where the action is. But I'm on a family trip so not bothering too much. Just peeked at some options near my hotel.
It seems air France crews stay at Royal Palm hotel but I don't recommend it. It's mostly families

Hey Guys, long time lurker of the datasheets in this forum to aid me in my international travels.
But this time I decided to stay domestic and went to Brickell, Miami for the New Years Eve.
For those that know the area, any spots in particular that are worth hitting up this weekend? I'm going solo so some of these spots are not conducive to mingle around.
