If you HAD to live in the US, which city would you choose?

I am originally from Brooklyn NY. I have been to all the major cities on the East Coast with the exception of Boston. I have also visited the following cities, Denver, Las Vegas (3 times) LA, Houston, Atlanta (6+), St. Louis, Key West.

Hands down Miami is the best!!!! If I had the money so I could do it right. I would live on South Beach. The beauty of the beach. The different options for food. The shopping options for clothes. The variety of bars, clubs and lounges on the beach and within a short distance of the beach. As well as the sheer diversity and quality of women from all over the world. Make South Beach the best place I have seen so far.

The only two negatives is South Beach is expensive, and the best parties and best times to meet women are on weeknights and weekdays. This is not the best place for someone who has a regular 9 - 5 job.

LOL at this thread people arguing about if Minneapolis or Pittsburgh is the better option.[Image: tard.gif] Its like taking a photo of a bunch of busted 3s and 4s and asking me which one is the hottest.

You guys don't know how much better it is abroad. Mexico City is only 2 hour flight south of Austin and its an entirely different world then any of these cities.

Much easier to game chicks, better food, better weather (neither hot nor cold), MUCH lower cost of living, more walkable then virtually any US city, I could go on and on.

Sorry for you guys who have to stay in US for work or family, that sucks.

@goonies, not sure what venues to check out in Washington Heights. I just went there once for daygame and there were juicy big booty Dominican shorties all over the place.

As one or two others have said; Chicago’s crime is pretty highly concentrated in a few areas that you never go to... or even see really.

Pros:

- Has 95% of what NYC has, e.g. incredible restaurants, bars, skyscraper living, density, public transit, etc.

- But for half of the cost.

Cons:

- Cold af winters.
- Taxes are fairly high but nowhere near NY or CA.

Well shite.... So last night I was informed I have to be out of my current residence by April 5th.

I was planing on prally skipping town this summer sometime but now I'm in a bit of a crunch. I'm not quite ready for another world tour.....

Some places I was thinking of goings are
Charleston SC
Denver Area CO
Some second tier city in Florida (I love sunny weather and beaches, second tier city to try to avoid some of the crazy that Florida seems to posses)
Phoenix AZ...I have a opportunity to stay in in a house there rent free... not sure if the city is for me though

After reading over this thread Austin and maybe Mexico City also seem interesting.

The thing is I'm not really a big city kind of guy. I prefer more laid back towns surrounded by nature. So even the cities I'm taking under advisement aren't really my speed.

So I have a month to decide and start looking for accommodation and so on...

Boston. Even though I'm leaving soon, this is one of the best places I've ever been to.

Pros:

-Plenty of high paying jobs across a variety of different fields
-Much cleaner than NY, and considerably more quiet at night (sleeping through the night is great)
-It's a university city, which attracts young, top shelf talent from around the world. Granted, a lot of these women are ardent feminists and a huge pain in the ass, but for hitting strange alone, you can manage.
-You've got easy access to anything you want: Beaches? Check. Want to go skiing? No problem, 2 hour drive. Want to fly somewhere else for a trip? Logan has tons of international routes.
-Public transportation is great, and the cost isn't off the charts. Yes, Boston is expensive, but its nowhere near as bad as NYC, and our suburbs are considerably nicer.
-Food is just as good as NYC.
-Nature is close. 25 minute drive from Boston and you're in nature preserves.
-The cultural events and art scene here is great. Not everyone is into this sort of thing, but I am.
-During the summer, this entire state is a paradise. The beaches are wonderful, and the city itself never gets too hot.

Cons:

-There is a TON of feminist/SJW BS here. You live here, you accept that it's a liberal city and take it for what it is.
-Boston is expensive. You won't be able to afford living well here unless you're single and making over 70k a year.
-The winters here are not great. It's cold, wet, and we get plenty of snow.
-If you're into high powered night life, you might be a little disappointed if you are looking for an NYC/LA level nightlife.
-The lifestyle here is fast paced. That's part of the reason I am leaving. People here are go go go all the time.

Try Phoenix. I think you might get laid like lumber over there, especially with your accent. It's a city, but it's not big. Not to me at least. Only thing missing there is deep woods countryside atmosphere. You can probably see some desert and scorpions though. For the love of God please do not get drunk and fuck with a rattlesnake out there like some people might do.

Anyway, I almost moved there like 3 times. There were some good IT jobs there that I kinda wanted. Dudes swear it is a pussy paradise for certain kinds of dudes (which you fit). If your car is running again, there is probably some cool places to drive through and have fun.

If you are fully location independent, take a look at the Seattle area. No income tax, no sales tax on essentials like food. Lots of laid back towns surrounded by nature.

If you like Oceans... Port Townsend and Sequim are great. Both close to the Olympic national forest. Drawback is that if you want to get to downtown Seattle it's an hour drive and a ferry ride from Port Townsend. Great place to fish and sail a boat around though. Beautiful in summer. Same goes for the San Juan Islands.

If you like mountains North Bend and Snoqualmie are both nice sleepy mountain towns. 30 minutes from a ski resort, and 45 minutes from downtown Seattle.

In regards to women... the largest group is White California transplants.... they are horrible as humans but they drink and fuck. Lots of Asian girls, Lots of Latinas, Not a great place for black women, unless you like Ethiopians or have big brass balls and will hit on Somalis.

Most cities you go to in New England will be surrounded by nature, but it might be a little chilly in April.

New Orleans is pretty chill and surrounded by nature, as long as you stay away from Bourbon Street.

Salt Lake City might work.

Raleigh or Durham, NC are also pretty decent.

Nashville and Chattanooga also fit the bill.

Lived in Boston 2 years:

Boston has hands down the ugliest local girls of any major US metropolitan area, I think its the scottish/irish heritage that makes them so busted. Not only busted ass face, shitty bodies, but also that awful new england accent. Bad attitude as well. Well maybe there are girls in other regions that are even uglier, but New England chicks have the full package, ugly face, ugly body, ugly accent and ugly personality all in one!

Plus its so cold nobody is ever in a mood to fuck and go out most the year. Its "OK" from June - Sept, but pretty miserable otherwise.

- The university chicks live in their bubble and not generally that accessible.
- Cost of living outrageously high
- Your talking about beach? When the fuck can you go to a beach in New england its shitty weather 10.5 months a year. Even if you can go the beaches in Boston are ugly as hell and the majority of them in rough neighborhoods.
- Public transport, the T is so slow you might as well walk. Takes 25 minutes for those little trollys to move like 1 mile.
- "Summer is great" says investment bro. Do you know in May when its warm in NYC, DC and Chicago its still FREEZING in Boston. The average high for May is like 63F, it only warms up in late june and last until mid september before it starts freezing again. Summer is like 2 months long, the rest of the year its miserable.
- People take pride in being huge assholes in Boston, I hated that shit.
- Its just as expensive as NYC without any of the benefits

Fuck Boston, I would never live there. Its like the bad aspects of NYC like rude people and cold weather, but without the good aspects (accessible hot chicks etc)

Living in Salt Lake City, it has its appeal, mainly:

-The outdoor activities. In the winter, you have skiing and snowboarding. In the other months, there's hiking, biking, camping, and other outdoor activities present
-National and state parks are ample here with all sorts of natural beauty
-The low cost of living. If you do your research, you can easily find an apartment or house for less than $1,000/month
-The weather in the winter if you love the snow, and the weather in the summer if you love dry heat. I'm a fan of snow (when I don't have to drive in it) and love the southwest/west coast weather, so I consider the weather here to be a plus overall, especially during the summer time even when it gets to above 100 degrees.
-You're in a centralized location to every other major western city whenever you get bored with the city, which will happen
-The people are courteous and respectful, and are friendlier than average. But then again, my sense of "average" is coming from living almost three decades on the East Coast.

But it has plenty of drawbacks:

-Very provincial native population, and this is with the Non-Mormon (LDS) population. It's a challenge for you as a transplant to build a healthy group of friends and utilize social circle game. Almost everyone here sticks with people they've known since grade school.
-Lack of things to do within the city itself and it's virtual lack of city and nightlife. Outside of Temple Square, City Creek (the mall just south of it), and during special events, the city is virtually dead, particularly on weeknights and Sundays. This lack of life in the city is amplified during the winter months, which can last from October to April.
-The women: In SLC and Utah, women here are harder to game and connect with than you would expect. It's easier than the East Coast, but I suggest you NOT to move here strictly for gaming. Girls here are particularly flaky and will find any reason not to hang out even though most of these women here spend their evenings living a basic bitch lifestyle of sitting at home with Netflix and Bon-Bons. The looks here in SLC and Utah are either stunning or cringing, with very little in the middle. The LDS girls are more on the better looks side, more cooperative on average, and surprisingly more DTF on average compared to non LDS girls. However, you'll still have to work at convincing them to stick with you in the long run if that's what you seek. Religious discrimination is the #1 prejudice here, even more than racial prejudice. Non-LDS girls are mostly either hipsters or trailer trash, but in either case they might as well be like every other American broad. No need to elaborate any further on that. TBH, the saving grace of this state when it comes to women are those from outside the state, whether LDS or non-LDS.

tl;dr summary: SLC and Utah are great if you love the outdoors and are looking for a good cost of living, a better than average quality of life, and a tranquil and "TradCon" existence for you guys who still seek those things out. But as for excitement with women and city life, it's pretty mediocre. You can do better than here like Vegas, Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas. But you can do a hell of a lot worse as well.

I think about this all the time. I've travelled in so many cities in this country.

If I had to grind, rat race, cubicle 9-5 lifestyle... I'm good in any big TX city. Quality of life is good. Quality and quantity of the women are good. Pay is good and COL is cheap (but getting expensive very fast).

If money were no option and I could ball out of control... I'd have to agree with the person that said Miami, FL. Warm weather and you'd have access to the most flawless looking women and lavish lifestyle. Then I'd frequently visit NYC through April-August.

The US sounds like a pretty big fail from the comments in this thread. But being from Cuckada I’ve actually done way better in Raleigh NC, Vegas (of course), the Midwest, Venice Beach and Charleston.

I really like southern US girls, so much better than cold, stand-offish Canadian SJWs. There seems to be a lot of white trash and gangster Haitians in Florida though, got in a few fights I in no way initiated.

If you HAD to live in the US, which city would you choose?

After living in four metropolitan areas in my life (Seattle, Baltimore, DC, Detroit), I must say Seattle would be my favorite out of the four and the city I would choose to live in the U.S. Why?

-Access to AWESOME skiing only a hour away (Crystal, Snoqualmie, Stevens) and Whistler is a three hour north drive
-You're smack dab driving distance between two other cool cities (Vancouver and Portland), and a short flight from California, Vegas, and Hawaii
-A lot of great breweries
-Nice indie music scene and also home to legends such as Hendrix, Cobain, etc.
-Politics is fairly liberal, but a healthy mix of conservative too (concealed carry and no state income tax). And even the liberalism is not as aggressive and angry as other cities
-Good job market, city is very business friendly and highly educated. Home to major corporations such as Amazon, Boeing, Microsoft.
-Lots of great, locally owned restaurants and coffee shops
-Low crime and lack of hood culture unlike the other metros I have lived in
-City is very diverse and integrated. Whites, Native Americans, Asians, and Pacific Islanders are the large groups here
-Large Native American presence here, and many of their tribes are thriving
-Although women can be pretty flaky and inconsistent in Seattle, they don't mind being gamed and are not rude about it. Men also don't white knight or cockblock there either
-Two major sports teams, with a third on the way (NHL), as well as a major NCAA presence in the Washington Huskies
-population is on the upswing
-not too hot or cold, very low humidity, gorgeous summers

Some cons:

-If vampires existed, they would all move to Seattle. The sun is only out during the summer, which lasts from late May to mid September. Then it is overcast for the rest of the year. Seasonal depression is a thing there
-Women are very inconsistent and flaky, and making new male friends is tough. If you want a true dating/social experience, the transplanted Californians will be your bread and butter. And fear not, Californians are the biggest non-Washington group in the city and hold a large presence
-If you are into black girls like I am, or like Latinas, this is NOT the city for you. If you like white and Asian women, have fun!
-People are scared to offend, so you have to deal with a lot of passive aggressive behavior

Overall, I would rank Seattle as one of America's great cities. I would stay there if it wasn't for my family back on the East Coast.

hahaha I totally agree with this. I live about 1.5 hours from Boston and it is by far the most overhyped city I've ever been to. It's also mad expensive for no reason, other than being safe and clean. Total lack of nightlife, no real structure to the city, and awful weather.

For those of you who are looking for a slower, more conservative vibe or even wife shopping, check out Boise, or any of the smaller cities in Idaho. It is still affordable, people are friendly and it has some of the best gun laws in the nation. Surrounding outdoors area is gorgeous.
