The movie Moonlight won best picture. At first they said it was some other piece of shit that no one was interested in, and then they said "wait a minute..."

I tried to read the description of Moonlight, but then realized it was like Precious part 2. A movie 98% of the general public cannot identify with.

It's Ghetto Brokeback Mountain, no way it wasn't going to win.

They announced the wrong winner for best picture and while the cast was on stage giving their speeches with the statues in their hands, they said another movie had actually won and they had to all stop abruptly while the real winners came on stage and yanked the statues out of their hands. Total fail.

I hope this event becomes a symbol of the end of these master illusionists and their endless lies, who have done nothing but push false degenerate counterculture onto the world.

Was that a fuck up though? Reading out the wrong winner happens way too often for it to be accidental.

I don't believe its a genuine fuck up either but that old bastard did struggle for a bit.

On a side note I don't think hidden figures is a true story. I just have a hard time believing our super indoctrinated school systems let a story like this go quiet for so long.

By now it’s as clear as the day is long that the Oscars are nothing more than a televised PC pat-on-the-back party.

They handed Beatty the wrong envelope - you can tell in freeze-frame that he's holding an extra copy of the "Best Actress" envelope rather than "Best Picture". So when he opened it, it said "Emma Stone, La La Land" and his eyes just focused on the La La Land part since you want to announce the winner as quick as possible

I turned that crap off, but woke up to greatness on the internet.

La La Land won the popular vote and Moonlight won the Electoral College.

Warren saw that it was off then he paused and didn't really know what to do, then the lady takes it from his hand and reads it. She thought he was being a dick but he froze up from not knowing what to do.
