Yes, the filming and editing is different, overall great movie in my eyes. Some may see it as weird.

The Oscars are pretty much just a large circle jerk filled with politics and back door dealings much like bodybuilding. It seems like they go for oscar bait more than anything else.

With that said, I'm pissed Interstellar didn't win Best Score and wasn't up for more awards. Probably the best in theatre experience I have ever had.

Absolutely amazing track and has earned a special spot on my gym playlist.

Yeah American Sniper & Interstellar pretty much got snubbed by hollywood, obviously.

I gotta see Whiplash, the theory of everything, and imitation game. All 3 look like great movies.

I don't especially care for the Oscars, but it's nice to see J K Simmons get some credit. He was a powerhouse performer in Oz.

He’s awesome in Whiplash, he’s a total bastard in it. The Oscar was well deserved.

I'm surprised no mention of Patricia Arquette going full retard at the Oscar's.

It is pretty good. It was shot to look like a long one shot.

^Also, interesting because of the fact that Micheal Keaton was once known for being Batman.

The biggest takeaway from this version of the Oscars is the disconnect between liberally minded folks and the unwashed masses. From what I've heard, viewership is down from years past. I just read this article on Yahoo! about it. The comments are overwhelmingly negative. The pendulum is starting to swing the other direction. In the liberal mind, being an egalitarian isn't good enough. They have to make the world "better". Of course, this doesn't apply to their neighborhoods (read: whitewashed, upper class). Phil Ochs quipped in his song "Love me, I'm a liberal" that liberals are "10 degrees to the left on most issues, and 10 degrees to the right if it affects them personally."

To me, the best joke of the night was from Sean Penn. I only heard it in a vacuum on the radio today, but it sounded like a man breaking another man's balls. I'm from New Jersey, so I can relate to that. Of course everyone got assblasted by it. It didn't fit the liberal agenda they were obviously pushing from the opening monologue.

4/5 of best actor nominees were up for best picture, 1/5 for best actress nominees were up for best picture, A small example but that's why men get payed more. More people including women prefer to go to the cinemas where the leading role is a man. Studios are there to make money and they pay accordingly, it's adjusted to be fair. Look what happened to tennis where the women play 2 less sets, are less talented, draw less crowds to get payed the same winnings.

oh, and Penn's joke was funny

Not to make this a contest, but I got in 12 hours prior Kaotic & was hoping my post above yours would generate some robust discussion. Either way, Arquette's hypocritical bullshit recognised.

After the ceremony she added this...

Quote:Quote:

“The truth is: even though we sort of feel like we have equal rights in America, right under the surface, there are huge issues that are applied that really do affect women,” Arquette said in an interview afterwards.
“And it’s time for all the women in America and all the men that love women, and all the gay people, and all the people of colour that we’ve all fought for to fight for us now.”
Her comments sparked criticism for ignoring that fact that women from racial minorities were even more impacted than “privileged” white women by the wage gap in the US.

And so it does with every SJW cause, devolve into a battle for victimhood. Which Arquette could win. She hasn't brought up the home-hitting case for Tranny's equal pay yet.

WYB?

Marilyn Manson used to date this. I recall from Jenna Jameson's (the 90's pornstar who dated Manson in turn at the time) autobiography that he was crazy about always sticking it in her ass.

So we men have to accept some blame in this, getting constantly assfucked by Marilyn Manson would probably do a number on your head.

It's gotten way too gay. Hollywood and the Oscars are prancing around each other and most people can't take it any more. I turned off the set when I saw Neal Patrick Harris grabbing his boyfriend's ass.

Patricia Arquette is being rewarded for outing Will Smith when he was protesting the Oscars. She was offered something in exchange. Appears to be an Oscar.

Background checks should be run on every single person who was up on stage during the Gaga sexual assault song. Check all their stories and the cases.

Stacy Dash coming on the stage was something like it came out a internet comment, "you know what would be great to happen during a racially charge Oscar? Stacy Dash from Fox News that said we should get rid off black history month and BET to appear on stage".

Most white liberal did not get the joke because they really don't give a fuck about diversity.

There were a shitton of womyn ads during the breaks.

Mad Max didn't deserve all those awards.

Leo - cool glad he won an oscar. But fuck you for being an elitists hypocrite flying in your private jet fueled planes and burning huge amounts of diesel on large yacht's.

Come on man, that was a joke of a speech at the end.

So many comments on social media last night about women crying watching Lady Gaga's performance on sexual abuse. That was basically a SJW's wet dream last night.

I'd argue out of all the "survivors" on the stage 90% were not raped and had a case of 'regret rape' the next day.

I was watching Roosh's chat with Karen Straughan and they hit on the fact that young girls these days are not even lying, they have actually convinced themselves that WERE raped.

Which is a reason why lie detectors are not effective, mostly with women, they have proven that even when you know you are lying you can make your mind to think what you are saying is true.

Technically hamster logic.
