Here is how I screen for pros.

I try to avoid places known for being frequented by whores, but in SEA, you can run into pros even at the best and most exclusive clubs.

I approach a girl in a club, ask her name and then say "Hey, are you a student? Cause you look like one". They take it as a compliment, especially those in mid 20s or older. Then if she tells me she has a job, I ask what she does. If she has a proper job, chances are she doesn't expect money. Some will say "I'm a lady for the night" or whatever, then it's pretty clear they expect to be paid. In this case, I say "Sorry, I don't pay for sex". Then it's up to her, some of them may offer a freebie.. whether or not it's wise to take it is a different question, but at least they know what to expect. If you're still not sure if she's a pro after you talk to her (let's say she says she's a student but gives off a pro vibe), then you can say straight up something like "There are many pros out there, but I'm not looking for one because I don't pay for sex".

If you get into trouble with girls threatening to trash your place and stuff, it means you need to screen better before you take them to your place. It comes with experience, but generally if she is nice and polite she's unlikely to go ape shit later. Also, not drinking too much helps too (I know that, but I still don't always follow this rule).
