A big mistake on the men's part (I 've done it myself a couple of times), we should call them for what they are (men). I have nothing against gays or trannies. There are TONS of gay expats in China for whatever reason and it's really not a talking point. You even have a lot of down low fempats who fuck chinese girls because they can't get any dick from expat guys haha (or so they say).

Obviously, we all can be tricked and shammed eventually by someone on some subject especially when inexperienced in that area. Who hasn't been scammed somehow at sometime? Getting laid in many ways is another knowledge domain: a mix of art, science, bravery and luck. The heart of becoming successful at game is working hard to learn the area, taking reasonable precautions against getting scammed or hurt in it, and developing a community of buds to rely on/share the ups and downs even when you do get knocked down by a scam; and some help from those buds in getting picked back up after the scams lets you know who your friends are, whether scammed by a crypto chick with a dick, a nutritional supplement salesman, or herbal remedy hawker, a corrupt politician or fraudulent preacher. No need for honest mistakes to brand folks with permanent scarlet letters since we all make 'em in some area eventually and obviously only that guy knows whether it was honest or not. Its just another scam/logistical fail (if you are straight) when you come to Asia.

In the states, I almost never get fooled. Here there are some very convincing ones ESPECIALLY if drinking, dark or loud music.

In other words I met this "big baller" who was drinking cognac XO @ a local high end sushi spot in taipei. He wanted to check out a young person bar.

I took him to one. We were supposed to split a table because he wanted some place to sit. He said split ok? I said fine, no problem.

We are drinking and partying w/a bunch of people. Girls, guys, wtvr. Then poof this dude is gone. Either he got too wasted and went home (forgot) or he intended to scam me from the start.

Who knows... Whatever the price for us (making dollars or euros) is low, so I just shelled out.

Its a minor annoyance not a major deal here in Asia if you have a thick skin, decent head on your shoulders, and by local standards fat wallet.

When I didn't know, there was no difference. It was just as good and even better than some girls. That's the most messed up part about it lol.

Funny thing is I saw that tranny walking down the street on a date with some unsuspecting Korean guy maybe a year later.

Some of these trannies have been on hormone treatment for a number of years and at a certain point they are actually almost more like a woman than a man.

I read somewhere (probably in a Chuck Pahlaniuk novel) that in some of the higher-end vagina surgeries they can put in a small section of the patient's small intestine inside so they'll self-lubricate. So that may not be a fool-proof way to find out.
