NEW RULES: Casual sex and hooking up can no longer be discussed on the forum

How ironic. Grew up as a kid in an environment with the exact same, albeit unwritten, rules. It was sites/forums like this (and a couple of others)
which helped me break loose from the conditioning/hang-ups brought on by not being able to express my, *ahem*, "darker" desires because of said rules.
And now things are coming full circle, just as I'm making significant strides.

On some level, I feel betrayed.
But it ain't my forum, so I'm not going to bitch about this.

What I will do instead, is log out, focus on my career and get laid. Y'all have fun and God bless.

this forum should be about helping men make families and long lasting REAL relationships, not the one night stands with degenerate souls like the establishment wants us to.

Lose your job and see how long your Christian wife sticks around. How "real" her love is when you tell her you have to move to a crappy apartment. The game never ends that's why a candid forum like this is essential.

Is someone going to archive the forum? Or do we need roosh's consent? There is a ton of info worth saving.

Hopefully some of the great game advice on this forum can at least be closed and archived for members only?

With Heartiste down I'm missing picking up a new game tip during the week and trying it out on the weekend.

Game works on church girls too.

How many aging players live a life full of regret at 40+ knowing that they never started a family and wasted their life with meaningless fornication? Virtually 100% of them. All roosh is doing is attempting to remove the sickness that a lot of guys have and prevent them from making decisions theyll regret later. I only wished you did this 6 years sooner roosh, I probably would have had a loving wife and kids by now. Dont let the haters dissuade you, you made the RIGHT decision.

I think Roosh has gone off the deep end with this religious BS. Religion once again has destroyed something good in this world (this forum). I'm out. In the end we all will die, rot and maggots will consume us. Enjoy church fellas. Feel free to ban my account.</meltdown>

I respect Roosh, but you can't turn a whorehouse into a church.

I say it's a bad decision. I think it's too late to run damage control on the forum, by forcing rules upon a great platform for free speech. I find it to be wiser to gradually encourage people and lead them the right path by showing them the right way of living rather than telling them. I don't know much about the bible, but would it punish a man that has taken a step away from his old past and decided to follow the right path of God? Isn't it enough to just "discourage" the casual sex discussions rather than ban it completely? Couldn't Roosh simply refrain from encouraging more casual sex by stop posting sexually explicit articles and books?

Like other posters have said, if you were to run those rules it'd be best to make a separate forum and delete this one, which would be a waste of years and years of some of the most valuable game/self-improvement resources on the internet. After hundreds of bangs and having Roosh's life revolve around sex and women i find it selfish he takes away that opportunity from other players out there to find themselves, just because he found purpose in life through God and religion.

It's like a girl who've ridden the Cock Carousel and decides to settle down and marry a beta at the age of 40. Then she tells and encourages all her friends to avoid casual sex and just settle down with a good man when she's literally the last one to be a good role model.

The answer to that is to give them a "choice" a path. There's guys who end up happy after a life of playing around. Why aren't we talking about them? I know a millionaire who was never married, went to all countries, doesn't drink, smokes a cigar now and again, and is perhaps the happiest guy I ever been around.

I do my best to respect other people's faith in every day life, but this - and what I read of the Godpill thread before us non-believers were kicked from it - is worryingly like the kind of Christianity, or certain other faiths, where attempting a debate is like banging your head repeatedly against a wall, and even innocent remarks on non-religious matters might be countered with rigid scripture quotes.

Huge loss for lost men and young men with these radical changes. This forum and Roosh's blog and books were and sometimes still are a huge help to me (who discovered the red pill in my mid 30s) and many thousands, tens of thousands over the years I'm sure, of other men.
As someone else said a little further up, merely promoting the idea of no pre-marital sex might be according to the bible, but in this day and age it definitely guarantees beta naiveté. Unless a large part of the population joins Roosh in his spiritual conversion. When pigs fly and all that.

I'll hang around for a while and see what happens. Assuming I'm not banned along the way for insensitive religious criticism.

Thanks for your help and wisdom over the years Roosh. Good luck on your current path, and yes, this forum is your house so you should do with it what feels right. Even if I and some others may not agree it's in the best interest for men on a broader scale.

You won't support a man trying to change for what he truly believes is better unless there is something in it for you?

This forum can still be about game, but applied to the goal of meeting a future wife and discussing the qualities we should look for, or how to raise good children, etc. It doesnt have to be about all the degenerate subjects prevalent on this forum. I cant even read this forum in my place of work because all threads are about fornicating, partying, sex, notch counts, its ridiculous.

I have no concern whatsoever with Roosh's embrace of a traditional lifestyle and his wish to create a space where like-minded people can discuss it. In fact, I applaud it. I don't think he's gone off the "deep end", although it's certainly a novel development.

I do think that, overall, it's a denial of human nature and doing more harm to men overall than good for it to entirely dominate the forum. While it's certainly not a natural monopoly, it has become a de facto monopoly on places where men can talk about male things and hard realities of men's lives in peace, disagreeing but sharing diverging viewpoints and learning something from our collective experience. I think this change will be a significant loss to both young men and men struggling with failed marriages.

This is why I suggest that a dedicated forum for the development of a wholesome family household, where wholesome thinking can be shared, would be a better place for these rules. However, it's certainly his call.

Somehow, I sincerely doubt refocusing on traditional Christian marriage is going to make it significantly less likely to get us fired.

Just my two cents:

In my opinion it’s a betrayal to the guys who have helped built and made this forum what it is today. Not to mention the guys who have supported him financially through book sales and whatnot.

I completely understand that people change and he wants out. Lots of my childhood friends and best buds/PUAS have moved on. I wholeheartedly respect that. Roosh also is the object of hatred in many places and he’s probably still banned in the UK. Having a target on your back all the time is not a nice life.

I think he should sell the forum with stipulations in a contract the forum be renamed and his posts deleted.

This sanctuary and place of self-improvement will now be ripped away from us and other future men who need or seek help getting women they feel they deserve.

Not all of us are here just to “bang” chicks and bounce. I don’t even participate in the I just laid thread for this reason.

Finally, from my observations women stick together more than men and this is one of the many reasons that they are always one step ahead of us and we always need “game” to catch up.

What a motherfucking shame.

There will be 3 types of people on this thread.

The ones who support roosh and genuinely encourage this decision and find it good.
The ones who support roosh and jump the bandwagon and only state their true intention half, being scared of getting backlash by other forum members.
The ones who don't find this a good idea and aren't afraid to state their opinion on the matter. But somewhat hold their true opinion back because of fear of getting banned or saying something that might be sensitive.

This is a bad thing, this is literally how censorship begins and run things into the ground.

I agree. Would it not be better to pass ownership of the forum to someone else, preferably someone you trust, and switch to a donation-based setup to cover hosting fees? I’m sure men — myself included — who gain great value from the content here would contribute.

Guys, this forum never had free speech. There has always been rules in place and if you posted something against the rules you would be banned. Always.

To those of our enemies celebrating this, do you think this changes anything?

This forum was full of good men who's love of sex brought them together. In all other moral regards, this place was clean. We banned people for lying. We banned them for prostitution. We tolerated Sugar Baby arrangements - but even that was discussed at long length.

Now that the one thing that the majority of women in 2019 put out like its meaningless is gone, will you tolerate our views? Hardly.

Don't take this to mean that you are winning, because you are not. It just so happens that Roosh and some others have stopped using your vaginas as masturbation devices for drunken weekend and bored hookups.

I understand the "not leading others to sin". That's one of the unforgivable sins. But how are men supposed to learn about being as cunning as serpents, but innocent as doves? That function of the forum was a huge help to many.

David took his men with him and went out and killed two hundred Philistines and brought back their foreskins. They counted out the full number to the king so that David might become the king's son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal in marriage. 1 Samuel 18:27

Alright I read the post wrong. No pre-marital sex?

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

No casual sex kills at least 40% of forum members.

No pre-marital is 95% the fuck.

Do you believe in marriage now?! Do you expect American men to believe in marriage?!

Ability to make such decisions deserves nothing but respect. However, how about leading men in a better, more religious direction without enforcing your beliefs on others? I'm Christian myself and I value having a traditional family, but in a modern world "non-fornicating men" aka "virgins" are people that have no shot at ever experiencing that.

I understand your reasons for that -- you don't want to lead men to more sinning. But this is not such an black and white matter either. How about trying to change the mind of men and leaving them with a choice? Because as I see it -- most people will leave the forum or only come back to read some of the political/financial/fitness discussions (if they will still occur) and will never get to see a different perspective. I will probably continue reading, but the forum will lose a lot of appeal (and so it will for most of the members). I'm in my early 20s and I have a desire to try all shades of ass, multiple times. And majority of the forum still does -- especially as there are also many young members or people that have just gotten out of a divorce and need another perspective, a one that promotes fornication.

This is your playground indeed, but this forum has been much more than just your sanctuary for many of us. You have built a community where men can freely talk on any topics relating to the core of being a man. And you were responsible for this community. And kudos to you for creating that. However, now this is no different than what you (and this forum) has been fighting against for all the time -- the freedom of speech on natural matters.

In my honest opinion, you are not leading men to sinning by allowing them to speak about debauchery. You may change the direction of the forum by promoting your 'new way', but not ban everything that is against your new beliefs. By doing this, I believe, you will be able to convert many more men as the time goes.

I'm Christian at heart and I don't read Bible (nor I follow it actually), but I keep trying to be a better person and a better man. To me Christianity is a matter of interpretation. And, in my beliefs, one's self-improvement through casual sex that is to give pleasure and in future build foundations for having a healthy family is not a bigger sin than altering your consciousness for pleasure and in order to gain a new (one always hope -- a better) perspective with drugs.

It's weird to see a bunch of zero-rep blow-ins whom I've never seen before come in and pronounce "The Death of the Forum" and make silly threats. Who the hell ARE you people?

If I was a more religious guy I'd say you were imps sent by Satan to try and save one his favorite grounds for temping men to sin. As it is, I think you're just bozos who need to calm down a little.

He hasn't held a job in 12+ years if I'm not mistaken (sloth?) , and seen more of the world than most people, directly because of the men who buy his stuff.

There are many varieties of sin that occur here, depending on how strict interpretation of the bible one takes. I don't know why he feels like he's "facilitating" one thing but not the other.
