NEW RULES: Casual sex and hooking up can no longer be discussed on the forum

Due to my recent turn to faith, my sense of morality is becoming based on the Bible. I've stopped a lot of behaviors that I've used to do and am in the process of making other changes. I've also realized that the majority of my published materials and online platforms lead men into sin or enable them to partake in sin. I no longer want this to occur, so I am implementing two new rules on the forum that are effective on June 1, 2019.

1 .You can no longer discuss fornication or pre-marital sexual activity

Things you can discuss:

-Meeting women with the intention of entering a relationship with them
-Attracting women
-Going on dates
-How to enter relationships
-Using technology to meet women
-How to maintain relationships
-Sexual activity while married

Things you can no longer discuss:

-Meeting women with the intention of fornicating with them
-How to bang
-Physical intimacy with women you're not married to beyond the act of kissing
-Maintaining relationships with multiple women (i.e. spinning plates)
-Cheating on significant others (adultery)
-Using technology to fornicate
-Discussion of travel destinations which are best for fornication
-Stories of sexual activity while not married
-Promoting masturbation, oral sex, anal sex, etc.

2. You can no longer use pornographic or vulgar language

-Refrain from using terms like "I fucked her" or "I want to fuck her." Do not describe sexual encounters or situations that are beyond the act of kissing unless you are married.
-Refrain from using profanity if a cleaner word would suffice.

These rules will cause great change to the forum

The above two rules will mostly apply to the Game and Travel subforums. I know that I may lose some of you because of these rules, but I can no longer help men lead a life of sin, because doing so is weighing on my conscious.

I created this forum in 2008 to help men fornicate, so I don't know if it's possible to "retrofit" it for another purpose, but it's worth a try. In the meanwhile, I will gradually lock threads that break these new rules if they become active. The fully updated rules that new members see is stickied in the Everything Else forum. It can be viewed here.

Roosh, huge kudos for making changes based on moral convictions. That's a huge step and one that I would honestly find hard to implement if I was in your position; this will undoubtedly alienate and drive off a lot of fans, but I'm 100% with you on this.

What about existing threads here and in the Game forum that have pornographic images spread throughout? For years I've found this forum an incredibly valuable resource for many reasons, but I've always felt extremely conflicted about whether I should hang around here or not because of the temptation that these offer. Will threads like "What do you consider a 10?" or "The Boobs Lounge" be closed, or completely deleted?

On one hand, this is your private space and you are free to do whatever you want with it.

On the other, you've personally dealt with censorship of your ideas and content, and other similar ideas and content of the manosphere/red pill/whatever you call them internet communities, for leftist "moral" reasons, which obviously differ vastly from yours, and as a result brought this forum closer together over dislike of (leftist) attempts of censorship and narrative control. Unfortunately, I see this as a different face of the same coin, where based on "morals", certain content is heretical/unfavorable, and censorship is the chosen path.

Again, your space, your rules, but considering this place has been a self-proclaimed bastion of truth and free speech that is not permitted elsewhere, I find it highly ironic.

The monk Aurelius Moner said he had no qualms about posting his ROK articles among other immoral articles, because "The Lord sat with prostitutes and tax collectors alike" so how is this forum any different. Most of the older guys look to get married or long-term relationships anyways. I'd say the fuckboy phase is a step in the redpill. Had you banned this type of talk originally, many of us would still be naive as hell about the world because we wouldn't be here.

And like it or not, sexual experience helps you keep a wife attracted to you. You most certainly have to actively "game" your Christian wife and experience is the only teacher IMO. If you can't handle women, your life will be a living hell. I was a good Catholic boy in highschool and girls ran me into the ground as I was naive about their nature and how to deal with them.

Some questions:

1.Is this a hoax?
2.Is the purpose of this post meant to satisfy the masses that seek to restrict or otherwise shut down this forum?
3.How will this change the format and content of your upcoming tour?
4. How is this conguent with your ideas of free speech?

While I respect Roosh's moral concerns, I agree with this.

If you don't find out about fornication and sodomy, you don't find out about people. The Western world has no shortage of nice, churched-up, blue-pilled guys who are basically solid but get run into the ground and see their families shattered because they don't think women are really like that or understand what can happen to their kids. This forum's savage side is full of valuable meat-and-potato type advice about real life.

Not saying this is a democracy, but I'd prefer to see the return of the family/household/traditional relationships forum. It was actually helpful to have that kind of information all in one place and a specific place to go when the LTR was acting bananas and I needed to talk about "Old Married Guy"-type problems.

On an unrelated note, as of June 1st, I will only travel for the purpose of savagely devouring multiple types of delicious squash, prepared in interesting ways. I will also sometimes be telling amusing stories that focus on my past experiences consuming squash, such as the squash that liked to roleplay its own sister in the shower. This is not a metaphor for anything. It's about squash.

NEW RULES: Casual sex and hooking up can no longer be discussed on the forum

Roosh - thanks to this forum, your books, your blog, your videos, and your advice over the past 15 years...thousands of failing men worldwide were finally able to get girlfriends that later turned into wives & mothers, and thousands of husbands were able to either rekindle and/or save their marriages. Even more men were saved from committing suicide after being divorce raped or otherwise burnt by horrible relatioships. All of this thanks to you.

Please do not judge all your past work just as "enabling fornication" or "promoting sin."

Your work over the past 15 years has done a lot more good in the world than you may ever realise or imagine.

Why not shift the emphasis to meeting foreign women for legitimate girlfriends or wives? I was married to a Colombian woman, and finding a wife is full of potholes and perils. It's not easy. Building up a database of knowledge would be useful. The previous content was all illusory anyway because men getting flags are really dealing with prostitutes but don't know it. There really isn't much knowledge there.

At some point we have to decide we just talk about leaving sin, or actually doing something about it.

Roosh choose to walk the talk, which I respect.

Knowing the quality of the posters here, I think we will be fine.

Shocking.

And noble, though anachronistic in a sense.

@Jetset & Disco

I agree wholeheartedly. In fact, knowing the truth of people and what they can do saved my life in a way. If my eyes had not been opened I would have certainly died at the hands of a many of the women I’ve persued.

Keep everything, as a testament.

There is a tremendous amount of material here, rarified and refined. Everything that is to be said of sex-tips and drunken hook-ups and the like has been said.

We need a Black Bible it seems. There’s so much valuable information here, to read the experiences of other men. If we can no longer continue those discussions then the posts fall into the abyss, their knowledge lost.

As such, there needs to be a master thread that catalogues the ‘best’ of the black.

As far as discussing game goes, and players having a home here still, it will give those the opportunity to sharpen two of the most trusty weapons such men have: ambiguity and innuendo.

Interesting times, this.

As a non-Christian, I can't say I really understand. However, this forum has been invaluable to me and I respect Roosh's choice even if I don't understand it.

There are plenty of great people on this forum, I am not really worried this change will have that much impact to the quality of postings/posters.

I think you are failing to give other men the same opportunity to find God as you did. Not everyone can find faith by isolating the evil and protecting them from it.

Personally, I think you will lead more men to faith through your leadership than by censoring many of the things that brought us all together in the first place. If I don't agree with a thread, I don't click on it. If I don't like a post by someone, I ignore it. If I don't like a certain poster, I don't read his posts.

I wish you the best on your journey of faith, but this is not the way to help the struggle than men are facing in this day.

You have a lot of respect from me for standing up to the mobs and for being a damn good writer, but I'm not the only one who feels estranged from the forum due to the direction it has taken in terms of its attitude towards:

-Game/PUA lifestyle (many of us are young men who like sex, and we didn't get into this to be around people who reminded us of our kooky overly religious relatives who think getting laid before marriage is wrong. Now, I have an open mind to traditionalism as I do towards anything else and do agree that it has perks like anything else, but I do think it isn't far fetched to fornicate responsibly and engage in 'degenerate' activities without ruining yourself.)

-Women (many of us don't approve of the way many women act these days, but at the same time we definitely don't believe in going Sharia Law on them. There are still ways to appreciate women for what they are without having the overtly hostile attitude some forum members portray. I get a PUAHate/Sluthate/Lookism Elliot Rodgers vibe from some of the newer posters here.)

-Politics (the Trump Thread in particular has become a doomposting white nationalist circlejerk full of people this article describes: https://antidem.wordpress.com/2019/04/08/bitchpilling/ . I'm definitely not a lefty, but at the same time I roll my eyes at posters who yearn for some violent far-right wing overthrow of the system or those who advocate supporting leftist candidates in the vain hope that it would bring down the system or those who mistake Trump working with the entrenched political establishment out of necessity means he is 'betraying' us)

I respect your decision to do this, Roosh, but I will be one of the many users leaving the forum due to the direction it has taken. I can't say I didn't see these new rules coming. Other users with far more rep points than me have told me that they've left for the same reason I have.

I stand by your decision though, due to the timeline of events, it does further support my decision never to use magic mushrooms to induce specific states of consciousness.

As far as I am concerned, this is Roosh's forum, he can do what he wants, and I think it will be really interesting to see how things change and what new directions are taken.

I'm in.

The rest of this post is offered in the spirit of divine silliness.

So I guess the "Would You Hit It?" thread will now be called the "Would You Date It?" thread.

Or there will be a "Memes and Gifs that will instantly convert Leftists?" thread?

Or "Anyone Fast Forward Past Sex Scenes in Game of Thrones?"

Or: "Did you ever hit a Prayer Paradise and when?"

Or: "Moma and RudeBwoy Go Inexplicably Silent."

Or: "Is Bible Study with a 9 Better than Bible Study with a 7?'

Or: "Dog Walking Awareness Post."

Or: "The Bondage to Sin Thread. SFW images inside."

Or: "Holiest Things You Have Heard Girls Say."

This will be interesting!

I hope TLOZ can wax poetic about inner beauty too.

Edit: Almost forgot:

"The Pet Store Thread."

And

"Free Speech May Not Be Free, But Salvation Is."

This place has changed thousands of lives.

Men in the West are still better off learning these skills and then adapting them to other parts of the world.

Hoping they go to church and figure it out is unrealistic.

Sometimes you have to walk the path of darkness to find the light, much like you have.

Too heavy handed of a change in my opinion. Roosh, would your early twenties self obey the orders of your older wiser self of now? I think not, mostly you will drive people away who would otherwise have listened with a more steady reasoned approach. Bans and hardline rules will just create an echo chamber of those already agree with you. Plenty of times my opinion of a subject has been completely turned or informed in a completely new way by a post that's nearly 5 paragraphs long by the many quality posters on here.

Fornication itself is not the truth, though it can be an expensive way to bring out about the truth. I'm not telling you how to live and I am not your judge. You are free to create other forums where you can discuss what you want.
