The boy consistently refuses to wear dresses, according to the father.

Moreover, the father has collected testimony from parents of his son's friends and a church leader who say they have only seen the six-year-old identify as a male.

The boy's pastor, Christ Church Carrollton Bill Lovell, said, "Based on the three occasions I’ve spent time with him, I’d say he acts and looks unmistakably like a healthy six-year-old boy. ... I am praying for [him], an average six-year-old boy, a sweet-natured, intelligent, lovable and at this point particularly vulnerable young man, caught up in a titanic clash of worldviews."

"His mother came to pick up the boys to take them to [his brother’s] soccer game," recalled Sarah Scott, a family friend and mother of three sons who are close with the boy. "[He] hugged his dad and said, 'Love you.' He refused to go to the soccer game as a girl with mom and stayed with dad. That evening they came to our house."

Matt Walsh made an important point about this in a recent video. He wondered how society can say kids are too immature to consent to have sex, yet people then think it's OK for them to change their sex.

What do you say to this story? Americans have had ample opportunity to nip tragedies like this in the bud. We have either been guilted into cowing to it or have complacently thought "Oh, it's just this one situation, this isn't going to become the norm" or "It's out of our hands, what can you do?" And childhoods are ruined, shattered, or just plain end in blood.

Maybe things will get better after they get worse. But how much worse does it have to be? Imagining it makes my skin crawl.

It could lead to some protests at their office and more likely a loss of customers. I think she is a pediatrician. How keen would you be to let your children go to such a doctor after learning this story? I imagine news like this would travel fast through the grapevine. And the negative reviews will tip other people off to look further and find out why she is getting blasted.
