I can respect the athleticism of the guys who are the best in the world at cross country skiing, but keep in mind the mental strength and co-ordination it takes to pull off a lot of snowboard/skateboard/ski tricks when there are big gaps and heights involved.

Funny stuff. This relates to the posts on Women's Skating. I love watching Women's Skating and Couples Skating, but I do like Men's too, in spite of all the flaming gays that seem to show up. The men are able to do athletic feats on skates that blow the women out completely. Far more intense leaps, spins, etc. The women only make up for it by being hot, at least in skating. A lot of the women's snowboarders don't even have that.

The thing about Chloe Kim is that she's going to appealing for a few reasons. She doesn't have to be the best looking Korean, just a fuckable one. When she turns 18, she will be THE athlete guys will dream about getting with because she will be considered the best in the world and a young fresh face. Sports fans like to think of female athletes as hot. They like the game and in my case, I imagine what athletes are capable of doing in the bedroom compared to normal chicks. I think an underrated reason is there's not a lot of asian faces in western media. I have a fetish for asians so I'm automatically more attracted, but for the guys not used to a lot of exposure for asian chicks or have never been in the eastern part of the world, she will be a fresh face.

As for bangable skiiers, I think I'd fuck all of them except Cook and McKennis, though I'm kind of a manwhore lol. Here's how I'd rank the rest:

1. Schiffrin- I'd consider her a 9, I admit she has a great picture to help her cause but her figure looks solid and she looks younger than others.
2. Vonn- I like fit blondes so I'd give her a 7.5, in her prime she was probably easily a point higher but still looks good for 30's.
3. Stiegler- she seems to have a girl next door hipster look so I'll give her a 7.
4. Mancuso- in her prime, I agree she would've been fine, I'll give her a 6.5 now.
5. Ross- average girl, I'd give her a 6, definitely fuckable enough.
6. Johnson- 5.5 mainly because her body is good but her face is meh
7. Wiles- 5.5 as well, she looks ok but she just gives off a hardcore feminist look, you're adding to that by saying she's a Portland bitch lol

Basic women often think men will be hot for them because of their education, or job, or places they've traveled. Obviously these don't make women more attractive. Only looks, sexual energy, and a sweet, loving personality matter.

However, having world champion athletic genes might raise a girl's attractiveness. If both were sweet and hot in bed, and you had to pick one to wife up and raise a family, would you take the 6 with a gold medal in something, or the 7 with average athletic ability?

I'd think that passing gold medalist genes to your children would be very attractive, and it would be the kind of thing that bypasses your rational mind and makes your male hamster want to knock her up.

I would be ok if it was U20, but then there is still the issue with players that are NHL property and a few of the best young players would already be playing in the NHL so you could still argue that it wouldn't be a true best on best.

I looked over our roster more throughly and there are some players that at least were 2nd tier stars at one point, for example Derek Roy. I feel like a lot of these players just got pushed out the NHL not because of them not being skilled enough but the need to make space for younger players. Max Lapierre is would be a solid 4th liner on most NHL teams, he comes with a big of baggage though.

I'm not totally sure about the comparison but I'd say the gap is narrower. There have been a few high profile KHL players not being able to cut it in the NHL though, I think it might be more about typical Russian hockey player diva attitude instead of lack of skill though.

Part of the reason is because lot of Russian players don't want to play defence.

Yeah it was bad, but I don't think it was CBC's feed, a local production crew must have handled it and they probably don't know much about hockey.
