Whatever the case may be, Cindy Hyde-Smith is no Roy Moore. There are also a bunch of Chris McDaniel supporters who split the GOP vote in November 6, who are probably more likely to come out to vote for her in the runoff because of this.

I know next to nothing about Tulsi. The best bet for the Dems for 2020 is probably Kirsten Gillibrand(Senator from NY, generally well liked, not an extremist) . The populist choice would probably be for Bernie Sanders.

2024 could be Beto if he actually wins an election in the next 6 years for House, Senate or Governor in the meantime.

As stated, GIllibrand has recently come out as being anti (((Israel))) so she cannot win by default. She certainly could waffle and embrace Israel in the next year or 2 so I'd go ahead and pencil her into the dems ticket for 2020 but it's very early.

I’d actually vote fo Tulsi if forced to choose between her and a Neocon Republican like Jeb or Marcobot. The neocon won’t even fight back on social issues so it makes little difference, whereas Tulsi being an aggressive anti-interventionist and anti-Zionist would be a huge improvement even over Trumps decidedly pro-Israel record.
