Fuck. Sinema won (or looks like it's all but official, with Maricopa's dump and Pima still having outstanding). That was not expected and doesn't bode well for 2020.

And she's a fucking loon too.

Edit: Now this.

Is Trump gonna let this democratic senator from arizona win by just 2000 votes ?

No recount and/or checking for voter fraud ?

I think the person who lost would have to ask for a recount

This is rough though, all of the liberal Californians that move to Arizona and vote for shitty liberals out of habit. Trump will have to campaign hard in Arizona next year and in 2020

Update on the Arizona situation - the drop was from Pima which was expected to favor Sinema. There's still a bunch left to count in what could be favorable areas for McSally. It depends on where in Maricopa county it's from. This won't be over for a while yet.

In Florida, Rick Scott is now suing Broward and Palm Beach counties and will do a press conference soon. It still stretches credulity to think that there will be enough votes to put Gillum and Nelson over the top, but you can't give these people an inch. Broward is no stranger to shady behavior. I don't know how that elections supervisor hasn't been forced out of office after already being ruled against for violating state and federal law in 2016.

The AZ election is completely insane. No other way to describe it. Wildly swinging betting odds. Sinema has decent NPC composure and isn't hideous looking but that's about it. Overall not good in any way. Still got some duckets on McSally though. A good buy right now but I wouldn't recommend it unless you got play cash.

Very interesting data from the exit polls. Granted, take them with a grain of salt since we saw how well exit polls predicted 2016.

It's as I said. If you can't get 90% of the black vote as a Democrat, you go bye bye. Also, there was this.

I agree. These effete whites are a massive problem. Immigration matters of course, but effete whites using "social justice" preening to gain status over other whites (which is in truth what this fanaticism is all about) is the biggest problem of all.

Granted, there is also this tidbit...

McSally is a TERRIBLE public speaker. She is like an absolute robot. Zero charisma.

AZ shenanigans are insane. There is a huge void here to be filled, we need competent Conservatives here.

I should run for office...

It also doesn't help that, crazy as she is, Sinema is a lot more bangable, which, having seen nothing else from the race aside from those tapes, made me think she had a good chance to win despite how crazy she sounded. Still a lot to come in. It's going to come down to the wire. Everything depends on what parts of Maricopa are still out.

Anyway, some good news and bad news coming out of all of this. It seems Republicans have made inroads with blacks and Hispanics everywhere, but they're also losing white voters. For example, in Florida, DeSantis got 14% of the black vote and 44% of the Hispanic vote but lost 4% of Trump's share of the white vote from 2016, down 9 points(!) among white women. If DeSantis and Scott had kept Trump's white vote share, they'd have run away with this thing and no amount of fraud from Broward would be keeping us in suspense like this. And in Arizona, Sinema wouldn't even be a thing.

These pearl clutching suburban whites are a big, big problem. The women in particular (shocking).

There's no doubt that the decline in marriage and the retardation of family formation among Millennials is a massive problem, along with the decline of masculinity and, obviously, the continued indoctrination in the universities. All of these things need to be dealt with.

Short term, Trump is probably going to need to lower the temperature and has to get the ball moving on healthcare.

Rick Scott's Statement from yesterday

Quote:Quote:

Gov. Scott's Statement on Election Results

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Yesterday, Governor Rick Scott made a statement regarding election results. The Governor's remarks as prepared for delivery are below. See the lawsuits that were filed in Palm Beach and Broward Counties today HERE and HERE.

"Late Tuesday night, our win was projected to be around 57,000 votes.
By Wednesday morning, that lead dropped to 38,000.
By Wednesday evening, it was around 30,000.
This morning, it was around 21,000.
Now, it is 15,000.
On election night, Broward County said there were 634,000 votes cast.
At 1 am today, there were 695,700 ballots cast on election day.
At 2:30 pm today, the number was up to 707,223 ballots cast on election day.
And we just learned, that the number has increased to 712,840 ballots cast on election day.

In Palm Beach County, there are 15,000 new votes found since election night.

So - It has been over 48 hours since the polls closed and Broward and Palm Beach Counties are still finding and counting ballots – and the Supervisors – Brenda Snipes and Susan Bucher - cannot seem to say how many ballots still exist or where these ballots came from, or where they have been.

The people of Florida deserve fairness and transparency and the supervisors are failing to give it to us.

Every Floridian should be concerned there may be rampant fraud happening in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. And the Broward Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes has a history of acting in bad faith.

As you will recall, a judge ruled just this year that the office violated both state and federal laws by illegally destroying ballots in 2016.
In 2016, Brenda Snipes’ office posted election results half an hour before polls closed – a violation of election law. That same year, her office was sued for leaving amendments off of ballots.
In 2014, Brenda Snipes’ fellow democrats accused her of individual and systemic breakdowns that made it difficult for voters to cast regular ballots.

All Floridians should be concerned about that.

Palm Beach County is also refusing to provide information to the public. And they are illegally refusing to allow official party representatives into the ballot counting area and forcing people to stand behind a glass wall with limited visibility and no ability to hear what is going on.

This is a clear violation of Florida law – and we have just filed a lawsuit.

Both Broward and Palm Beach Counties have failed in their duty to follow Florida law which requires that vote by mail and absentee ballots are accounted within 30 minutes of polls closing. Further, Palm Beach County has failed to update the Department of State since 10:19 am yesterday. This is in complete violation of Florida law which requires updated reports every 45 minutes until results are completely reported.

We’ve all seen the incompetence and irregularities in vote tabulations in Broward and Palm Beach for years. Well…here we are again. I will not sit idly by while unethical liberals try to steal this election from the people of Florida.
Senator Nelson hired one of Hillary Clinton’s lawyers from D.C., and the first thing he did was tell reporters that he is here to win the election. He did not say that he wants a full and fair election or even an accurate vote count. Here are some other things he has said.

In 2010: When his democratic client in Minnesota was leading by 8,000 votes, he said the lead was 'insurmountable.
In 2014: When his democratic client in Virginia was leading by 12,000 votes, he said there was 'no precedent' for a successful recount. He also said that recounts 'really only happen where you are talking about dozens or a few hundred votes separating the candidates.
In 2013: When another one of his democratic clients in Virginia was leading by only 165 votes, he said that recounts 'do not tend to change the results.
In 2016: When his democratic client in North Carolina was leading by 10,000 votes, he called it a 'close but significant margin' that would be 'insurmountable.' He also called on the opponent to 'graciously concede' rather than waste taxpayer money on a deficit that could not be overcome.
Again in 2016: When his client Hillary Clinton had lost the presidential race, he wrote an article highlighting that the margin of 10,704 votes in Michigan quote 'well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount.'

Now, he is here to try to steal the election, and to try to thwart the will of the voters of Florida.

Every day since the election, the leftwing activists in Broward county have been coming up with more and more ballots out of nowhere. We all know what is going on. Every person in Florida knows exactly what is happening. Their goal is to keep mysteriously finding more votes until the elections turn out the way they want.

And when that fails, they will file a bunch of lawsuits in order to try to overturn the will of the voters.
There are 67 counties in Florida, only these two counties are involved in these shenanigans. There are NO OTHER COUNTIES – REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT- that are trying to steal this election, or who are still finding ballots.
Some believe that this is simply rank incompetence. THAT IS CLEARLY TRUE.

BUT it would also be naïve to not realize that they could be trying to overrule the will of the voters of Florida.
Tonight, I am asking the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate this immediately and I am considering every single legal option available.

No rag tag group of liberal activists or lawyers from D.C. will be allowed to steal this election from the voters in the state of Florida.

I am proud to be the next Senator from the State of Florida and look forward to going up there and making Washington work for all Americans."

WB Sinema definitely, with full video evidence. Does that matter much though Libertas? Democrat women are usually trolls, so they don't have much problem getting elected if ugly.

I don't trust ANY of these midterms with the schenanigans in Florida, Arizona etc. This midterm can NEVER happen again (voter ID NOW.) If it was possible the results should be thrown out and a fair election should be run (I'm aware this is completely untenable politically.)

We need a thumbprint, address and Secure ID program for voting mandated on a Federal Level. That is the only way to prevent more voter fraud and theft by the leftists. Such a bill won't be introduced, let alone passed while the Dems are in charge of the House. The best we can hope for his lawsuits and jail time for the criminals as they are caught, and hopefully Trump gets in again in 2020 with a MAGA GOP majority in the house. Too many Republicucks won't support Voter Protection laws because they like serving their paymasters in the Fortune 500. We will need true MAGA GOP'ers to get anything serious done on the voter fraud level. Unless Trump goes the executive order route regarding voting laws, which I think the courts will likely strike down.

It matters enough. It's well-known that more attractive people do better in elections (as in everything else in life). It was partially for this reason that I pegged Josh Hawley as winning in Missouri and earlier in the year wasn't surprised when Conor Lamb won in Pennsylvania.

It's obviously not the only reason, but it does matter.

There's nothing unusual going on in Arizona. They're just painfully slow to report. The ballot count was already tabulated and known.

Florida is a different story because new ballots just magically "appeared" after the actual vote when they were required to be reported 30 minutes after the polls closed and Broward is still refusing to say how many are left outstanding, in violation of state law.

Voter ID wouldn't solve this. In fact, I think Florida (and Arizona too) already has voter ID. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The issue in Florida is that, even with courts orders now issued mandating access and ballot count updates, enough time has passed that anything could have happened. They already filled out new ballots to replace damaged ones without supervision, they already "found" ballots that were outside the chain of custody, it's going to be near impossible to know exactly what happened in that time period- and it was enough time to do the damage. There will now be a battle if those votes should be thrown out (they should), and the media will hysterically scream that votes are being tossed out and Repubs are stealing the election. Cue NPC protests etc etc

As far as Arizona, everything I've read is that this delayed counting is the normal process due to a number of factors. Doesn't seem like Florida situation.

Of course not, I would like re elections in any case the sham elections the other day don't stand up to scrutiny (which would never happen unfortunately.)
