Well, this thread reminded me how much I hate politics.

Every time you talk about politics with someone nothing good comes out of it.

Either the person has similar or pre-conceived ideas as you and you end up reinforcing them or is in the opposite camp and the discussion will get heated no matter what you say.

What he stated wasn't wrong about the forum, to me he was nostalgic and was missing how it was all about game back then. Then Trump happened, which changed the forum immensely and brought in a new type of members.


You have to adapt, politics plays a yuge part of this forum now and it bleeds into the game forum, that's just how it is.

It's still pretty funny that this thread turned out the way it did.

I have to add that I very much agree with Roosh on this one rather strongly disagree with Atlanta man. I agree there are advantages and disadvantages either way however I do feel that the narrative is strongly biased towards mixed-breeding.

I don't agree that the expression of recessive diseases is a problem, as it rather is a mechanism to "weed out" the bad genes. Let us take an example. Below we have four individuals, two from each group, with the two from one group carrying a recessive disorder (01, 1 being the problem variant)

Inbreeding

00 01 10 11 | 00 00 00 00 = 2 carriers, 1 "weeded out", 5 non-carriers

Outbreeding
01 00 | 00 01
00 01 10 00 | 00 10 10 00 = 4 carriers, 0 weeded out, 4 non-carriers

It be seen that inbreeding produces a healthier subsequent population than out-breeding. 2 carriers vs 4 carriers and 5 non-carriers vs 4 non-carriers.

OUtbreeding has the effect of 'hiding' the problem variant and allowing it to spread through the population. Inbreeding however, exposes the problem variant and pushes it into lines that will not reproduce (1,1), thereby eliminating a certain amount of bad genetic material, and 'purefying' the remainder. Outbreeding simply kicks the can down the road.

Everyone is aware of the term hybrid-vigor, yet funnily enough very few people would be aware of the following.

Look, I think Roosh probably DOES have a little something personal against OGNorCal707 (or at least someone whose been banned at some point), but as much as I hate to see long-time established members go (especially who have provided some good ideas/info), the links Roosh provided show clearly how ridiculous OG has been in the past.

When I first joined this forum over 5 years ago it was pretty much just about gaming women and traveling, now it seems like political/social commentary has taken over. Implies kaotic is an Uncle Tom (and then doesn't appear to ever address it despite responding further)

Hypocritically asking for "proof" from a poster when it comes to the topic of putting urine on your face (it's certainly disgusting sounding, but I'd put it at less disgusting than the topic of white supremacists and his unwillingness to substantiate his claims)

Anyone who thinks this place should be completely free speech is missing the forest for the trees.

Nearly any forum worth it's salt online has a solid rule-set and reasonable moderators. Without this, the forum would devolve into massive trolling, race-baiting, and all kinds of disrespectful chatter bringing the signal to noise ratio into unusable territory.

Free speech is for public discource/platforms, not for private platforms like this forum, but even that said I've seen a lot of room for dissenting opinions here given that they are well-researched/supported and stated well without violating the forum rules.

I see no indication that OGNorCal707 should not have been banned simply looking at the rule-set, his posts, and his apparent desire to have a meltdown/get banned. It's unfortunate when long-time members who have made significant contributions get banned, but all of the ones I've researched were for cause, not because of pettiness or personal reasons. Some of them may have had some component of personal reasons but they were not without cause by the rule-set. The rule-set here is fair and clear. Instead of being selfish and wanting certain sections of the forum or certain posters to not exist, it's simple to post in the sections you find relevant and can benefit from (or give back in) and stick to those. There's also the ignore feature which works very well.

Thats barely a race post. The first half is a perfectly fine population genetics example that could apply to a plant or animal population. The second post was sharing articles about mixed race health without any derogatory slants.

Poster wasn't being derogatory in his post in any way or claiming that skin color X was superior or inferior. He did a good job of 'walking the line'
