One of my beliefs has always been, "vote with your wallet." This is libertarianism at its core. By paying for a product or service, we tell the producer that we approve of their business over the competition. This is why we buy Roosh's books, because we want to support the man and continue what we have here. On the other hand, what happens when bars ban smoking, or implement SJW anti-pickup policies? We leave, their profits fall, some close their doors. Voting with your wallet is a simple way for the people to fight back. Not all of us can come out publicly like Roosh and say that trannies are psychos, and most of us are still stuck in corporate hell where our actions are monitored under microscope by HR. Boycotting SJW companies is a simple and easy way to stand up for our beliefs.

Earlier this year we had the Target tranny protest, which had significant impact down here in The South, as I heard many fathers and mothers say they would "never step foot in that terrible store again." Despite Target being a gold mine for day game, I joined the cause. I further audited my spending habits, taking note of where my money was going. Aside from Costco, grocery stores, and shopping for clothes, the remaining of my spending was at...Amazon.com.

Amazon, the website responsible for censoring Gorilla Mindset reviews and funding one of the major hoaxers in the lyin' media, The Washington Post, is collecting $100/year membership fees from 63 million US citizens, including many of us on the forum. On top of that they make affiliate fees on every purchase you make on the site, even if they don't hold the merchandise.

I was surprised when I saw how much money I was spending on Amazon, so I looked through my order history to see what I was buying. 80% of my spending was on supplements, because their prices are generally cheaper and being able to press a button and have a bottle of L-OptiZinc in two days is clutch. 10% was on books, and the remaining 10% was on random bullshit.

I was able to replace Amazon with the following -

Supplements - Swanson Vitamins. Zelcorpion got me turned onto Swanson because they're a medium sized, family run business that sells vitamins at orthomolecular doses and does not produce products with artificial sweeteners. Not only do they sell their name brand products, but they sell NOW, Jarrow, Source Naturals, and all kinds of other brands. The price listed is generally higher than Amazon, but they ALWAYS send me coupons via email. Every other day it's 20% this, free shipping that, so it's very easy to make large discounted orders that are on par if not cheaper than Amazon.

Books - Better World Books. You should be buying used books already, because of the price difference, but Better World takes it to a different level by being extremely environmentally and socially responsible while still holding onto low prices and great customer service.

Other random shit - buy in person, preferably at Costco. Need a screwdriver? Home Depot. Sheet set, pillows? Costco, Kohl's, Ross. Clothes? Get off the computer and go to the fucking mall. Just another way to employ Elmechs daygame hack.

Without Prime I'm still able to buy eBooks on Kindle, but I try to buy on eJunkie when possible (so more money goes to the author).

I've been without Amazon for a few months now and I'm happy with the decision. Yes, not being able to snap my fingers and have an item at my doorstep in two days is a minor inconvenience, but guess what...I'll live. Cancelling Prime has reduced my spending, as I no longer make impulse purchases and have to think harder every time I buy something. In a world filled with instant gratification, men of our caliber should go against the grain, plan our purchasing, and utilize different vendors in order to vote with our wallet and make a difference.

Unless I want to revert my digital life by 15-20 years - and I don't - it seems all but impossible to do a blanket boycott in tech and internet areas.
I'm a satisfied Android and Google user, to the point where I'm not yet paranoid enough to cripple the convenience of Google Now and other services by saying no to letting them track my searches and habits and read my emails. But obviously the ideal thing would be a boycott.

So in terms of smartphones then that would leave either an only partially functional Android OS - or at least the Google services aspects of it (and they matter quite a lot) - or perhaps an iPhone? But it's not like Apple is any better. Microsoft then (are they even still in the phone business)? Probably not a great ideological choice either for the red pill conservative.

A laptop or desktop feel a bit less crippled than a smartphone or tablet if you opt out of the OS provider services, but then of course you have convenient web services and shops run by silly liberals that you might very much like to use, such as Amazon (and if you're buying from them, even without a Prime subscription, you're obviously still supporting them).

Amazon is not SJW.

Amazon is pure capitalism. They are motivated purely by profit, not morality.

If you read Mike's D&P post, he says it's one rogue employee sabotaging the reviews. There are going to infidels everywhere. That's life. The book is currently #2 in Amazon gender studies category. If they were motivated by SJWism would that book really be for sale there? No!

Amazon has made my life easier and cheaper from being able to access all sorts of hard to find items within 2 days and saving 1000s of dollars on IT services through AWS.

Sorry, but your boycott is misguided.

I cancelled my cable (Comcast) about 6 months ago and don't miss it at all. I will not pay to be insulted and $upport entities that actively support causes that are diametrically opposed to me and my beliefs.

If boycotting Amazon, Google, Apple, etc. is something that can be done, do it.

The NFL's bitching about their ratings being down, right? Whether it's because of Crapernick's shit, the diluted product or football burnout, they notice less viewers = less revenues.

Every company, Left, Right or Center notices less revenues - it's all about the bucks.

“….and we will win, and you will win, and we will keep on winning, and eventually you will say… we can’t take all of this winning, …please Mr. Trump …and I will say, NO, we will win, and we will keep on winning”.

Brilliant post.

There's also a great RoK article on 5 more companies to boycott.

Other great ways to support companies - Patreon, Bountysource and just sending donations with an email stating specifically why you donated (encourages them to keep it up).

Install CyanogenMod, Copperhead, Replicant or Sailfish OS on your Android phone. Done.

There's always alternatives for everything e.g. AlternativeTo for software alternatives.

No pain no gain.

If we want to neomasculinity to stop being oppressed then we need to stop feeding the beast that's oppressing it.

Amazon is SJW because of capitalism.

Helpfully redbeard has highlighted that we shouldn't further motivate them by profiting from us because they betray our morality.

Other examples of censorship: they've banned the confederate flag, Nobody Died at Sandy Hook book, stopped hosting WikiLeaks etc.

Also their business practices re: Kindle DRM, shoving Prime down your throat etc are harmful to consumers.

There's always alternatives for everything e.g...

Politically uncompromised replacement for Google Search?
Giving up on the conveniences of Google Now for showing flight details, fastest routes, recommended reading based on past reading preferences (including links red pill sites) and other minor helpful, quickly accessed information? Certainly much more acceptable than giving up search, but convenient features nonetheless.
No Google Play store from which to download apps (is the alternative sideloading from potentially unsecure sources)?
Alternative to Google Maps? I've seen some GPS apps that look good, but most aren't free and you give up on the often helpful integration into other apps and services.
My aging TV has poor SmartTV features, should I get rid of my ChromeCast, which has been one of the most useful media gadgets I've bought in years?
I just signed up for Google Play Music. The main competitors I believe are Spotify (might be less politically challenged?) and Apple Music (poor choice on Android, and it's Apple, not really any better than Google).
Google Photos for cloud backup? That one does have plenty of alternatives from smaller companies, although I wouldn't trust the smallest upstart to not risk going bankrupt and lose all my data.
Viable Google Translate alternative? I use it almost every day since I only have a rudimentary grasp of the language where I live.

You don't have to answer those, just illustrating my point that though it probably is possible to entirely ditch just about any connection to Google, Apple, Microsoft, it certainly makes digital life more cumbersome in various aspects.

More important than canceling your Prime membership:

STOP BUYING FROM AMAZON.

I started boycotting them back in February. That's when I learned Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post, which obviously hates Trump. The Post hemorrhages money, meaning Bezos is using it purely as a political weapon, NOT a business.

I've replaced Amazon.com purchases with Wal-Mart.com, eBay.com and Bestbuy.com

Wal-Mart has a new feature like prime, the "Shipping Pass" which is $50 a year for free 2 day shipping. No order minimum. Easily replaces 80% of my Amazon spending.

For electronics, I buy on Bestbuy.com. Everything else, eBay.

It's a lot easier than it sounds gentlemen. I've been Amazon free for 8 months and counting now.

I do still buy from Amazon though----when something breaks, I order a new one from Amazon and send back the broken one. Reason selected: "Defective/does not work properly". Amazon refunds the entire amount including the shipping I pay for (I select one day shipping). They get a broken defective product, I get a brand new one, and I get it for no charge. Fuck them.

Some companies are so effective with their product or service they have a near monopoly. I still use Google search, because it's the best damn search engine out there. But I also use Ad-block, to limit the revenue they receive.

Amazon is NOT the only solid online shopping website. eBay, Wal-Mart.com, and Bestbuy.com easily replace 95% of the average consumers purchases on Amazon, at maybe a 5% increase in cost.

If you don't want to Boycott, don't. But don't make up reasons why others shouldn't.

Searx metasearch and add up to 70 different search engines in the preferences menu. You can even have Google (as long as you choose StartPage to proxy results).

Google Now (soon to be Google Assistant, their AI service which analyses even more info about you) is far too intrusive for my tastes.

You're entrusting a company which has been proven to suppress neomasculinity-aligned individuals so they can keep you in a search bubble.

There's a Firefox addon which allows you to download direct from the website, but I mainly use F-Droid or sometimes aptoide.

No, I think it's important to show people that there are alternatives out there.

Most people just can't wrap their head around changing long-standing habits and decline to research alternatives, but the point I want to make is that most things people use can be swapped for something else and in many cases the alternative is far superior.

Amazon recently blocked my VPN so I cannot stream movies from abroad using Prime.

I hardly ship using Amazon anymore because I can find what I need here in Thailand, or from other shipping sites.

So I have no reason to continue my Prime subscription.

A boycott? Ok but how many guys here are using gmail? How many are using the Chrome browse or using Mac OSX posting this information? I bet Google/Alphabetsoup and Apple are a lot more SJW than anything Amazon is doing.

The thing about boycotts is they are usually short and most of the time dont result in any change or the change is superficial.

I use Prime because it provides a service I use and they provide it well. They raised the price so i am slightly uneasy about having it however that service has to be matched by another equivalent provider. This provider must be able to provide it to a family, not just me. If I were a single guy then redbeards alternatives would make sense however if i need something and don't want to search through the other SJW corporate box stores....i go to the Amazon web site click a button and i get it in 2 days.

If there is proof of shadowbanning certain points of view on a corporate level (Youtube and Twitter) while having a degredation of service then alternatives will pop up to Amazon. It would be interesting to see if this continues even with this one book on Amazon from a "rogue employee".

Nah, boycotting major product providers is a sure track to a dysfunctional life, and will have zero effect on them. It is more morally important to me that I live the best life I can. Their contribution to leftism will be a factor in marginal decisions, but not a reason to reject outright.

Kind of like a slave: you could argue that accepting food from his master, which is only given to fuel his slave work, is an act of capitulation; that the moral thing to do is just to starve to death. But it's not true: through accepting the food and living, he has a chance to one day escape or even to kill his master.

^Not exactly. Fostering competition with Amazon will drive down prices and create a variety of different services. I for one am all for this simply on the basis of it creating more competition for Amazon which is essentially a monolith at this point.
