Got a trip to Vietnam in 2 weeks with two of my best buddies.

Little background: I'm Vietnamese but was raised in the states. I sound like a Southern Californian white dude when I talk. I can speak Vietnamese, it's not the best, I can hold a conversation but as soon as I open my mouth they all know I'm American.

Apparently, Vietnamese girls love this. They think my accent is cute as hell.

Started pipelining on Tinder 3 days ago, I would say I'm a 8/10 in looks. Lift, dress well, good hygiene, nice smile, the basics.

Bio: 5'11 / 181 cm, Viet American. I land on 4/21. Let's party.
My friends call me (name) but you can call me toi nay (Tonight in Vietnamese).

I open with English, and then some Vietnamese stating that I can't speak that much and honestly that usually interests them.

In the states, I would average a match every 20-30 swipes I would say. Highest I've gotten it was over 500 in 2 months time.

I've gotten 350+ in the past 3 days alone. This is swiping left on the uggos and fatties. I have about 2 dozen 8's+ set up in WhatsApp and Viber ready to go when I hit the ground.

Logistics: The boys and I got a nice 3 bedroom apartment on the 20th floor of this newer building. It's central in District 1 and 5 minutes away from the main backpacker area.

Any tips? Will update after trip. I'm getting mixed up trying to balance all these chicks.

I say run the routine. get a popular bar, location change to a bar near you and finally to your hotel. Plan your dates carefully and early. You have the luxury of abundance. Next them if they are adamant about no sex. Your logistics are tight and Asian girls always like their men from the same race but brought up in the west. Gyepos for Koreans and Nikkeis for Japanese and ABCs for Chinese, they generally love us.

Thanks for the advice man. Weeding through the ones who are not down for sex. Have too many now for the amount of days there. Do you plan for multiples during the day and see who flakes? Trying to keep my night clear to try and pull from the clubs, or should I just go for more dates at night?

Not sure how tall you are, but my height is enough to discount me on that note — certainly throughout all of SEA — not to mention my build and accent. Last time I was in Singapore, I had a tailor ask me if I was Japanese because I was speaking Chinese in such a strong Australian accent!

Not saying it's a great thing, but I look racially ambiguous enough that you'd think I'd fit in anywhere from Kazakhstan to the Philippines (was told by a cabbie in Nepal that I could blend in among the locals if I dropped the hiking gear). Not so.

Same here about the height. I stand out in Vietnam where the average guy is 5'6. Most don't think I'm Vietnamese until I open my mouth and then the girl's mouth drops when I start speaking my broke ass Vietnamese.

There's just something about girls feeling that way about you in your home country that gets me going.

Language-wise I have the opposite problem to what others are describing. I'm mixed, but I learned fluent Mandarin as a kid and use Chinese for my work. In the states, white people think I'm Asian, but when I meet Chinese they expect me to not know the language and invariably ask me why I don't have an accent. One of the first interactions I had with my wife was her standing in line behind me debating with her friend whether I was a foreigner or someone from an ethnic minority.

It's a good thing. Looking like a local(but not acting like one) is a super big plus point for many of the local girls. 1. They will not get slutshamed for walking down the roads with you. 2. They still get to boast to their friends about their English speaking, living in the West boyfriend.

I would always go for dates over picking up in clubs. Getting a girl out on a date is 50% of the job done. When a girl goes out with you, that's when you stand a chance in getting the lay because you're physically with her. Any other thing is obselete if you can't get her out. Picking up, while it may differ from city to city, is generally the steeper slope since you will need to game them from the start and not forgetting girls have their egos sky high when they're in a club cause they get so many guys hitting on them

SURABAYA | YOGYAKARTA | SEMARANG | BANDUNG

About Me

Korean-American. From California. Mid-to-late twenties. 5'11". 170 pounds. Athletic build.
There's loads of info on Jakarta in this forum. But not much about the secondary cities of Indonesia. I spent 1 week each in the following cities. Enjoy.

I posted this datasheet on my own thread in the travel forum but I wanted to contribute here as well

SURABAYA

Existing Information

thread-45718...t=surabaya Even though this is 2 years old the OP provides some great info.

http://www.jakarta100bars.com/2016/06/su...-bars.html This website is a great resource as well. It's been mentioned on the Jakarta thread several times. I've used this website when I couldn't find anything on this forum. There is no date marked, so I don't know how old this information is. But I found no discrepancies when using it.

Accommodation

Midtown Hotel: Great place and I would stay there again. Staying near Tunjungan Plaza Mall is smart as it's in the center of the city and nightlife venues are within reach.

Transportation

Grab, Uber, Go-Jek.

Online game

Tinder

Daygame

Tunjungan Plaza Mall is a great spot because it's one of the biggest malls in the city. Also, it's a good place for Tinder dates

Nightgame

The above mentioned websites gives a great insight of the clubs and bars. I will mention the ones that I've visited.

Foreplay: Student crowd. Got a few numbers. Overall pretty good. Best place to go for Monday (Student Night) and Wednesday (Ladies Night). Typical Indonesian club layout. All tables and no dance floor.

Eclectic Bar: Good place to pre-game. Fairly cheap drinks. Located right next to Foreplay.

Colors Pub: Not the cheapest place for drinks. Nothing special really.

My Experience

I liked Surabaya. It's basically Jakarta's little brother. Not too crowded. Traffic isn't as bad. The nightlife venues are decent. Tinder kept me busy so I didn't have the opportunity to check out every nightclub and bar. Had this one girl I met from Tinder drive me around the city and show me all the sights. I ended up hanging out with her for most of my stay.

YOGYAKARTA

Existing Information

thread-61114...yogyakarta These posts are from this year.

http://www.jakarta100bars.com/2016/04/yo...clubs.html Good resource especially when it comes to nightlife. I don't know how old this information is.

Accommodation

Cordela Kartika Hotel: The bathroom was really tiny. I wouldn't stay there again. Plenty of other comparable hotels at this price point. Jakarta 100 bars recommends to stay near Malioboro street which is why I chose this hotel. But in reality, there's not many bars or clubs on Malioboro. Mainly just restaurants and shops. If nightlife is not your thing, then it's an okay place to stay. Most of the top nightlife venues and one of the best malls (Jogja City Mall) is in Magelang street. I would find a hotel either on that street or near it.

Transportation

Grab, Uber (Motorbike only), Go-Jek.

Online game

Tinder, Indo-Cupid

Daygame

Mall Malioboro, Jogja City Mall

Nightgame

Even though I wasn't a big fan of Jakarta 100 bars accommodation recommendation (staying near Malioboro). They were spot on when it came to the nightlife venues. Pretty much all the places I visited were in line with what they reported. Also, "Jogja" (Short for Yogyakarta) as the locals call it. Has many universities within the city. They call it the "City of Education". Which also means many college students.

Sugar Club: Every Friday this place gets busy because they have an all you can drink vodka shots for 100,000 or 150,000 (I forgot which one it was) Rupiah. The vodka is low shelf and shitty in quality. But it's all you can drink and it gets you drunk. Loads of college girls. This place actually has a small dance floor which is not common.

Boshe: This place gets busy on Saturday. It's a big club and they have a cover charge. But you get a drink voucher when you pay the cover so I guess its okay. Typical Indonesian club layout. All tables and no dance floor.

Taphouse Beer Garden: Cool chill bar. Good place to pre-game. Good place for Tinder dates.

Liquid bar and kitchen: Basically a warehouse turned into a giant bar. Also another good pre-game spot. Great place for dates.

My Experience

Jogja is a small city. Nightlife options are somewhat limited but they have enough to make it work. As always Tinder works well here especially if you're a foreigner. Went to go see Borabudur and Candi Prambanan which I highly recommend. I got my first and only lay from Indo-Cupid here. Takes forever for girls to respond to messages on Indo-Cupid because you can only use it through a computer. It's not mobile app based. I'd forget to check my account and eventually lose interest.

SEMARANG

Existing Information

http://www.jakarta100bars.com/2016/03/se...clubs.html Only resource I had since there was nothing on the forum about this city. But it was a good resource. No idea on how old this information is.

Accommodation

Grandhika Pemuda Hotel: Brand new hotel just opened not too long ago. Really nice room for a good price. I would for sure stay here again. Close to the biggest mall in Semarang (Paragon mall). I would recommend finding a hotel near Paragon mall.

Transportation

Grab, Go-Jek

Online game

Tinder

Daygame

Paragon Mall

Nightgame

I didn't get a chance to visit any of the clubs here. But the locals tell me that Babyface and Liquid are the biggest ones. But I managed to check out two of the bars listed on Jakarta 100 bars

Spiegal Bar: European style bar. A little pricey. Good date spot.

The Tavern: Cool restaurant bar on top of a hill that over looks the city. Good pizza. Good date spot.

My Experience

I didn't go out to clubs because I didn't really need to. My first day here I matched a solid 8 with a killer body, good English skills and a chill personality. She hung out with me everyday and drove me around the city. I took her out to the above mentioned bars. Which are very popular with the locals. Semarang is the smallest and calmest of all the cities I visited in Java Island. There's not much to do during the day. But everything is cheap and there are very few foreigners. Even though it sounds like a not so happening place, I actually enjoyed my time here. Maybe because I found a girl who I can chill with on a daily basis. But there is absolutely no traffic and you're a celebrity on Tinder.

BANDUNG

Existing Information

thread-31450...ht=bandung These posts are almost 4 years old and its mixed with information about Davao, Philippines

http://www.jakarta100bars.com/2011/01/be...xpats.html Good resource. The information was updated sometime in 2016.

Accommodation

Hotel California Bandung: For some odd reason Jakarta 100 bars did not have any information on where to stay in Bandung. In their previous reports they always provide information about where to stay within the city. I ended up picking a hotel in the city center. This place was okay but outdated. There are other comparable hotels at this price point. I would recommend choosing a hotel in the city center but I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Transportation

Grab, Uber, Go-Jek

Online game

Tinder

Daygame

I didn't do any daygaming in this city because I was with my Semarang girl. She wanted to come with me to Bandung because she's never been. I was fine with that because I enjoy her company and the sex is good. But back on subject. Like the previous cities, any mall is a good bet for daygaming. Cihampelas Walk is a good mall to start with.

Nightgame

I can't comment too much on the nightlife here because I only managed to go out 1 night. But I do know that many Jakarta people come here during long weekends and holidays. The one club I went to had a good amount of Jakarta people.

Southbank Club: This place was nice and fairly big. They have a dress code here so make sure to wear a shirt with a collar and pants. Somewhat expensive but the place gets crowded on weekends.

My Experience

I don't have much to report daygame, nightgame or online game wise because I was with my Semarang girl. If I wasn't with her, there were for sure plenty of potential girls to pick-up.

Conclusion

For anyone is interested in checking out the secondary cities of Indonesia I would say do it. Even though Jakarta has the most amount of girls and the best nightlife options, online game options etc... It still has crazy traffic, certain clubs and venues are just as expensive in the west and the overall concrete jungle maze of this city can be stressful to navigate. When it comes to Tinder. Sometimes the traffic and the logistics set up can make it difficult to meet up. But I'm still able to meet up with girls and bring them back to my place. But it's not as easy and not as stressful as the secondary cities of Java Island. That's just my personal experience of Jakarta, other may feel differently and that's okay. But at the end of the day if I had to choose, I would still choose Jakarta. But exploring the secondary cities is fun to do at least one time.

Earlier I wrote a datasheet about the secondary cities of Indonesia's Java Island. But since Jakarta is a beast of its own, it deserves its own datasheet. I know there's loads of information about Jakarta but it's good to keep its information updated. I posted this datasheet on my own thread on the travel section, but I want to contribute here as well. EXISTING INFORMATION

http://www.jakarta100bars.com/: This website has been referenced many times on this forum. For good reason too. This guy made an entire website that is 95% dedicated for everything about Jakarta and other parts of Indonesia. I say 95% because the website also has a little information about other countries (Philippines, Vietnam etc...). To be honest, you can get away with just using this website alone. Without even needing the information on this forum. But the more information the better.

Due to the ever-changing nature of cities around the world (especially Jakarta). It's important to keep information up to date. But it's also important to give credit to those who have spent the time to provide intel. You will notice in my last datasheet (secondary cities of Indonesia) I provided a hyperlink of all existing threads pertaining to the topic at hand. The same will be provided for this datasheet as well. If I miss a thread I apologize in advance. Now even though some of the information on the below listed threads are a few years old. It's still important to reference them as an important source of information, because other users have posted comments regarding useful updated intel.

The hyperlinks below will be listed under chronological order based on the OP's first post.

ACCOMMODATION

Apartamen Tamansarri Semanggi: This apartment complex is in between Central Jakarta and South Jakarta. I rented out a studio via Airbnb. The only good thing about this place is its location, as its close to all the South Jakarta nightlife venues. But the traffic is terrible in this location (but where in Jakarta is traffic not bad?). The building itself was built 8 years ago and it looks like it was never renovated ever since. Lots of ex-pats live there as well. I wouldn't stay here again due to the lack of maintenance, overall lack of care for the facilities and the occasional cockroach problem in my room.

TRANSPORTATION

Grab, Uber, Go-Jek

ONLINE GAME

Tinder

DAY GAME

Any mall in this concrete jungle will suffice. Jakarta has over 100 malls. Take your pick. One of my favorite malls is Kota Kasablanca. The locals call it Kokas

NIGHT GAME

Lets be honest, the main reason most of us go to this city is it's night life and girls. I will comment on the clubs and bars that I've been to. Enjoy!

CLUBS:

Dragonfly: This is the place to be on Wednesday nights. It was renovated a few years back. Medium size club. 200,000 IDR cover charge with no drink voucher. Starts to get crowded around 1am. I don't know how this place is like on weekends because I would be at other clubs. Upscale older crowd. They have a small dance floor. I searched high and low for the best club on Wednesday nights and this yielded the best result.

Blowfish/Puro: I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard they also have ladies night on Wednesday's. But when I went there at 1am it was closed. I guess they discontinued it? Anyways, Blowfish and Puro are brother and sister clubs that are connected to each other. Separate rooms but you can walk to each one by a connecting hallway. Both places gets packed on weekends. I think it's a 100,000 IDR cover charge but that gives you access to both clubs. I forgot if you get a drink voucher or not. Both clubs are medium size with small dance floors

O2 Club: One of the newest clubs in town. This place was packed on a Thursday night. I don't know how it's like on the weekends since I've only been there on a Thursday. It offers a great view of the city since its on the 59th floor. Mixed crowd of students, tourists, locals, ex-pats... No cover charge. Medium sized dance floor which is nice to see in a Indonesian club.

[Image: d07f3482e130b8ea8f99d972176b300e_featured_v2.jpg]

Equinox (2nd floor of X2): Located inside Plaza Senayan. Gets packed on the weekends. Went there once on a Wednesday and it was dead. But on the weekends there's lots of ex-pats here, they make up about half of the club's population. The other half being a mix of ex-pat hunters, locals and maybe a few tourists. I think 100,000 IDR cover charge that includes a drink voucher.

LOLA - Espiritu y Libacion: No this is not a salsa club. Actually its a "speak easy" hip-hop club. I say "speak easy" because there is no sign outside their building. They only have a big black door. But once you open it you will hear music and people. This place is cool but there are 2 things that I do not like. 1 is that its tiny, you can barely move. 2 is that its too dark inside, you have to be point blank at the girls face to determine if she's cute or not. But for all you hip-hop fans out there (me included) you would like the music. If this place was bigger and brighter I would go there every weekend. No cover charge. Mix of locals, tourists and ex-pats.

The Pallas: Also one of the new clubs in town. In the same building as "Fable" and "Lucy In The Sky" in SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District). If memory serves, paying the cover charge for "The Pallas" also gives you access to "Fable". I forgot how much the cover charge was, maybe 100,000 IDR? Anyways, this club is big and upscale. Has that luxurious type of club vibe. Gets packed on weekends.

Fable: Very young crowd. As in some 16 year old's go there to spend their parents money. But its not like the entire club is filled with high school students. I met plenty of other people in their early to mid-twenties. But be careful of those 16 year old's because they are there. **Disclaimer** According to my google search, the legal age of consent for a Indonesian female is 16 years old. But even then, that's just wayyy to young for me. **End Disclaimer**. Back on topic. Fable is a medium sized club and it does get crowded on weekends.

Empirica: In SCBD. Big club. Upscale and luxurious. This is the place to go if you want to party with Indo-Chinese people. Practically the entire club clientele are Indo-Chinese. Also they have one of the longest bars in Asia. The thing is like an anaconda stretching from one side to the other. I forgot how much cover charge was, 100,000 IDR? I think that comes with a drink voucher, not sure. As usual the place is packed on weekends. Wouldn't be surprised if there were pro's here, lots of rich Indo-Chinese buying tables and bottles here.

[Image: empirica_event_space___lounge_sweet_17th...1465897168]

BARS:

Por Que No: Spanish restaurant with a cool roof top bar. They have a DJ playing on the roof top and the view of the city is good. Great place for dates. Cheap beer

Social House: Inside Plaza Indonesia. They have another location somewhere in Jakarta. Modern chill bar. Good place for dates.

SKYE Bar & Restaurant: Also inside Plaza Indonesia. Really nice sky bar that offers a great view of central Jakarta. This place is not cheap. Good date spot.

Pantai Indah Kapuk Street (PIK): PIK is located near CGK airport. It's basically a street filled with bars and restaurants. Mall PIK Avenue is also there. Marina Indah is a street right next to PIK and it too is filled with bars and restaurants. These 2 streets and the Mall PIK Avenue basically comprises Pantai Indah Kapuk District (PIK for short). Only issue is that it's far from the rest of Jakarta. If your accommodation is in South or Central Jakarta it will be about a 25-minute drive with no traffic. Good news is that you can take the toll road which avoids the traffic for the most part (sometimes the toll road gets clogged up). The toll fare is cheap, 9,000 IDR. There are no big clubs here, but this place is more for dates and casual nights out.

[Image: Copy-of-06-PIK-Avenue-ASG-20.09.2016--1200x800.jpg]

SIGHT SEEING

Monumen Nasional (MONAS): The locals call it Monas. Its a pretty cool sight. You can go to the very top of the tower and you get a cool view of Jakarta. I recommend going early in the morning. I believe they open at 8am. The line gets long and standing outside in the heat is no fun. Avoid going on weekends and national holidays as tourists and locals all flock there. Early morning weekdays are the best.

MY EXPERIENCE

I have a love/hate relationship with Jakarta. I love it because of the night life, girls and the cost of living for a major Asian capital city is fairly cheap. But I hate it because of the traffic, pollution, not much to do and incompetent Grab, Uber, Go-Jek drivers who get lost half the time. During the rainy season the traffic is even worse because the rain makes everything move slower. When it rains, all the Grab, Uber and Go-Jek drivers go offline because they don't want to drive in the traffic. So if you need to go somewhere, then good luck trying to get a driver. You can still get a blue bird taxi but you will pay more because the meter will be running when you're stuck in traffic. Even with all that being said I still had a good time. The first half of my trip I went through the tinder and night game gauntlet, bringing back different girls here and there. Eventually I met this cute college girl and I chilled with her for the remainder of my time there. For those of you on the fence about visiting Jakarta. Man I would say do it! Just try to avoid coming here during Ramadan. As many places will be closed. But even then, you can still use tinder and day game.

CONCLUSION

Jakarta isn't for everyone. I can understand how one can be intimidated by all the obstacles Jakarta can throw at them. But the juice is worth the squeeze. If you can just soldier through the chaotic maze of the concrete jungle that is Jakarta. You will see why members here go to this city. For me, I felt like I stayed too long. Thankfully, I had my college girl to keep me company and show me around Jakarta. I'm glad I stayed for almost a month because I didn't have to rush anything. I was able to follow up on my tinder leads, set up day 2's and hang out with my local friends. But next time maybe a 3 day weekend trip will be just fine. I hope this datasheet helps you guys out. I understand that the information that I have referenced and provided to you may not reach your 100% expectations. But that's the beauty of being human, were not perfect. You have to take the information that's available to you and go out and experience it yourself. If you choose to come back and share your story with us here, great! If not, hey no worries. As long as you gained something from it. For good or for worse, think of it as being a learning experience. I'm super grateful of the intel the members on this forum have provided. It helped me out a lot during my travels. So it's an honor for me to return the favor and contribute as much as I can. Until next time.

Peace.

Great post and valuable Intel. But the key question is how were your results? And how flaky are the girls cause I got a couple pipelined and not sure if should do the double triple hangout.

Manila they always flaked while BKK was much better in terms of showing up.

I've pulled from some of the above mentioned night clubs. Tinder kept me really busy, sometimes the girl would just come straight to my apartment. Other times, I would take them to the above mentioned Bars and then bring them back to my place. As far as the girls being flaky. For the most part they're good at showing up for dates. But sometimes when it starts raining the roads get clogged, and it makes it really difficult to travel within the city. When this happens, they would tell me they cant make it. But they were good at showing up for the rescheduled date.

ACCOMMODATION

Magallanes Residences: I rented a small 1 bedroom apartment through AirBnB. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s right in the heart of Davao. The residences are safe, clean, modern and the AirBnB host I stayed with is a super nice. More importantly, you can bring girls back here no problem.

TRANSPORTATION

Grab Taxi | Regular Taxi

Sometimes the Grab taxi will not answer your request or there’s just none around. But the regular taxis are safe and just as cheap.

ONLINE GAME

Tinder | Filipino Cupid

DAY GAME

Even though it’s only open at night. The Roxas Night Market is an awesome place that’s open every night. They have cheap food and plenty of girls go there to eat, walk around, hang out. Great place for “day game” even though its night time. Also, a good spot for tinder dates.

NIGHT GAME

Most of the bars and clubs are on Polo St. The people who party in Polo St are more of your middle class and ex-pat folks. I will comment on the venues that I have visited or the locals recommend. Nightlife here in Davao is not the biggest but it has enough.

CLUBS:

WAV: Formerly “Acropolis”. I was here on a weekday and no surprise it was dead. The staff told me that it gets crowded on weekends. They have a good size dance floor. 100 peso cover (even on weekdays) but you get 1 free drink with that.

Grid: On Polo St. Weekends are crowded with a good ratio of girls. I’ve never been on a weekday but people tell me its decent. Medium size club with an outdoor seating area. Inside, the dance floor is small. Most of the club is filled with tables. I found it easier to open and chat up girls outside. Due to the loud music, small dance floor and everyone grouped in tables. It can be harder to open sets inside rather than outside. 100 peso cover charge that gets you 1 free drink.

Alcatraz: On Polo St. Next to Grid. Crowded on weekends. I don’t know how it’s like on weekdays. But just like Grid, people say it’s decent as well. Medium size club. Also, small dance floor. Tables consume most of the club. Good ratio of girls. 50-100 peso cover charge with no drink included? I forgot.

Club Echelon: I never got a chance to visit, but the locals tell me it’s the biggest hottest club in town. Upscale venue. Only open on weekends. From all the hype I hear about this place, I would say this would be your best night game spot.

BARS:

801 Infinity Bar: Polo St. Next to Grid and Alcatraz. Ex-pat bar. 75% of the men there are ex-pats or foreigners. They have a live band. Old western theme bar. Some of the waitresses are hot. It’s a good place to start the night. Maybe give one of the waitresses your number and set up something on their day off.

Huckleberry Southern Kitchen & Bar: My favorite bar in Davao. Awesome date spot. I took my tinder date here and she loved it. Good place to have a chill night and drink.

SIGHT SEEING

Jacks Ridge Restaurant: This restaurant is on top of a hill that offers a good view of Davao. Good date spot.

Peoples Park: Cool park area in the city center. Nice place to take a stroll with your girl. A few monuments there that’s worth a photo.

MY EXPERIENCE

I enjoyed my time in Davao. Before Duterte became President, he was the Mayor here. He made sure that this city is the safest city in the Philippines. I would walk the streets of Davao at 3am and I never encountered a problem. Also, there is police/military posted on every street corner and they have round the clock patrols. There is no traffic, smoking in public is strictly banned, cost of living is cheap, there are no street beggars, no hookers or pimps pulling tricks on the streets. My first day here I matched this cute college girl on tinder and I spent my entire week with her. Expect to be popular on tinder here since only a few tourists visit Davao.

My ideal schedule would be:

Sunday - Thursday: Secure tinder/day game dates or follow up on day 2’s. If you cannot secure a date on those days, then night game is your only option. Try going to Grid or Alcatraz.

Friday - Saturday: Club Echelon or WAV. Try Echelon first.

ACCOMMODATION

Red Planet Hotel: Cheap budget hotel but still one of the better hotels in the city. Not many AirBnB choices since it’s a small city. The location of the hotel is good since its next to the brand new SM Downtown CDO mall and the SM Premiere. But aside from that, it’s still a 2-star budget hotel. If there were better hotel or AirBnB options I would rather go for that.

TRANSPORTATION

Grab Taxi | Regular Taxi

ONLINE GAME

Tinder

DAY GAME

SM Downtown CDO Mall | Ayala Mall | Lifestyle District

NIGHT GAME

Cagayan De Oro is smaller than Davao. The nightlife is even more limited. Unfortunately for me I was here during the weekdays and it was summer break already for the universities. Many of the college girls went back to their province. So, my night life options were very limited. I think it will be better to visit when school is in session and on the weekends

CLUBS:

Pulse Live Music Venue: Super loud club can barely hear yourself think. Many of the locals come here. Crowded every day. Working class type of people. Watch out for hookers as I encountered a few asking for money. Hard press to find a normal girl here on the weekdays. Maybe on the weekends some normal girls come here. If not, you may have to try and shore one of these pros.

**Shoring or “shore” for short. Is a term, in which it means to convince a pro or freelancer to sleep with you for free**

Beat Club: Next to Pulse. Same type of crowd and vibe as Pulse. Watch out for hookers as well.

Kardinal: In the Lifestyle District. The Lifestyle district is a new and modern plaza that has many bars, restaurants and live band performances. Kardinal is the only club in the Lifestyle District, but it was empty when I was there. The staff tells me its better on the weekend and when school is in session. Hooray for me!

[Image: 10005930_1030294250331017_7567214463108374027_o.jpg]

LIV Super Club: It was closed when I was there. Even though its closed on the weekdays. The locals told me it was closed down until further notice. The locals tell me that this club goes through many management changes. Which explains why it’s periodically closed for weeks or months. But when it’s open it’s open! The locals tell me it’s the biggest, nicest and most popular night club in town. Cebu also has a LIV club, located in Mandaue City.

BARS:

Somewhere Else Bar: Located near the Lifestyle District. This is my favorite bar in CDO. It was the best spot I could find on the weekday that had no pros. The first floor is a bar and the second floor is a small club. They play a good mix of old school hip-hop, Top 40, EDM etc… Good spot to start the night or the whole night for that matter. Good ratio of girls. Only issue is that it’s a small place. So even though there’s not a lot of people, it still feels suffocating because of how small the place is.

The Gastropub: In the same building as “Somewhere Else Bar”. Chill restaurant/bar. Good for dates.

SIGHT SEEING

Vicente Dela Park: This park is in the city center. They have a big heritage monument that’s worth a photo op. Other than that, there’s really not much to see here. If you’re into white water rafting then you’re in luck. As Cagayan De Oro is known for its rafting.

MY EXPERIENCE

Due to my schedule, I was only able to visit CDO on the weekdays. Coupled with school being out of session and being in the city for 3 days. I didn’t have many options to go with. Tinder wasn’t as resourceful since many of the student were back in their province. Also, CDO is a small city so there’s not many profiles available to begin with. I got a few numbers from tinder, daygame and “Somewhere Else Bar”. But many of the girls were working on the weekdays or they would take forever to text back. Unfortunately, I struck out here. Next time I’ll go back on the weekend and when school is back in session. Hopefully you guys make good use of my intel and have better luck then me.

Knowing what I know now, and if I had 1 week to spend here. My ideal schedule would be:

Sunday - Thursday: Secure tinder/day game dates or follow up on day 2’s. If you don’t have any dates set up, then night game is your only option. Go to “Somewhere Else Bar” to start the night. If that place turns up empty, then “Pulse” is your last resort. You will most likely have to try and shore a girl there. But you may find a normal girl there. Maybe.

Friday - Saturday: LIV (If it’s open), Kardinal and Somewhere Else Bar.

Baseline Residences: I rented a studio apartment through AirBnB. The residence is really nice, safe, good view, modern and new. The host of the unit is really nice. It’s right in the heart of Mango Ave. You can walk to all the clubs there. If I were to stay in Cebu City again I would stay here. But I would also consider Mandaue City too

Many of the past datasheets about Cebu mentions Mango Ave, J. Ave Club, Alcohology Club. Well times have changed, as both J. Ave and Alcohology has closed down. J. Ave moved to Mandaue city and changed its name. They are now called “OQtagon by J. Ave”. But Mango Ave still has night life venues available. It’s just not what it used to be.

CLUBS:

OQtagon By J. Ave: In Mandaue City. Only crowded on weekends. Not worth going on weekdays as its empty. Really big club, upscale and new. Lots of Koreans and Japanese. No lady boys. Could be a few pros here since many Koreans and Japanese are the main visitors. But I never met a girl asking for money here. Good ratio of girls. I think it’s a 500 peso cover that includes 1 drink.

LIV Super Club: In Mandaue City. Crowded on weekends. Good ratio of girls. Not worth visiting on weekdays as it’s empty. Fairly big club like OQtagon but little smaller. Same kind of atmosphere though. Lots of Koreans and Japanese. I actually saw a few lady boys (I think) there so be careful. A few pros as well. 200 peso cover charge with no drink. Good ratio of girls. Only crowded on weekends

ICON: In Cebu City. Medium size club. Good on weekends. Empty on weekdays. Middle class crowd. No Koreans or Japanese. Mainly local crowd. No lady boys. No pros. Good ratio of girls. 100 peso cover charge, I think that includes 1 drink…Not sure.

Club Holic: In Mango Ave. Medium size club. Really mixed crowd. Young, old, local, foreigner, ex-pats, tourists. A few gays and a few lady boys. But even with all these different kinds of people it’s still a fun club. People get down here and really go all out in dancing, drinking, smoking etc... Good size dance floor. I went here on a weekday and it was crowded. Weekends are even more crowded. Weekdays they have no cover charge. Not sure about weekends. Good ratio of girls. You just have to sift through the lady boys, old chicks and pros. Best spot on the weekdays

Hype 2.0: In Mango Ave. Small size club. Really dark inside can barely see anything. Decent crowd. Okay ratio of girls. I just don’t like how dark it is inside. You have to be point blank to the girls face just to see what she looks like. No cover charge on weekdays. Not sure about weekends.

BARS:

Passion: In Mango Ave. Next to Club Holic. They have a live band every day. Chill atmosphere. Good place to start the night and it’s a good date spot too.

Sentral Bar And Lounge: In Mandaue City. Norkis Cyberpark. Medium size bar. I like it because it’s a new hip-hop bar. Only thing is that it gets really crowded on weekends. As in you can barely move inside. Good mix of locals and foreigners. Good ratio of girls. They have an outside lounge area which is pretty cool. Good setup to open girls. The inside of the bar gets so crowded that hanging outside is your only option really. I don’t know how it’s like on weekdays. No lady boys. No pros. No cover charge on any day.

SIGHT SEEING

Skydiving In Bantayan Island: Almost $400 USD. But it’s an awesome dive. The view of the tropical island is something else. You have to drive to the Hagnayan port. Takes about 2.5 hours in a car from Cebu city. Almost 4 hours in a bus. From there you have to take a ferry to Bantayan island which is about 1 hour.

Monastery Of The Holy Eucharist: In Sibonga. About 2 hours’ drive from Cebu City. A little longer if you take a bus. This place is pretty cool, it’s basically a castle turned into church. Good photo op.

Taoist Temple: Cool Buddhist temple. Definitely worth a visit. Good photo op.

Basilica Minore Del Santo Nino: Historic church that has a big courtyard that’s worth a photo. Also, Magellan’s Cross is right next to it.

MY EXPERIENCE

I really enjoyed Cebu. It offers the perfect mix of night life, tourist activities, girls and cost of living. But the traffic in Cebu is bad, not as bad as Manila or Jakarta. But still bad. One thing I noticed is that some of the night life is shifting towards Mandaue City. OQtagon, LIV and Sentral Bar and Lounge are in Mandaue. 2 of Cebu’s biggest clubs are in Mandaue (OQtagon, LIV). If this trend continues and more clubs and bars are starting to open in Mandaue. I would consider finding accommodation in Mandaue rather than Cebu City. If you’re not into night life then I would stay in Cebu City. But I don’t regret my decision staying in Mango Ave. It still has enough night life to make it worth staying in, and its right in the center of Cebu City. Especially on the weekdays, Mango Ave is basically the only night life option.

My first week there I went out almost every night. Went on a bunch of tinder dates. Brought back a different girl to my place almost every other day. But after going through the gauntlet of night game and tinder. I eventually settled on this one girl I met from tinder and spent the remainder of my time with her.

My ideal schedule would be:

Sunday - Thursday: Secure tinder/day game dates or follow up on day 2’s. If you can’t get a date lined up, then night game is your only option. Go to Club Holic and see where the night takes you.

Friday - Saturday: Any club or bar will be good. Try OQtagon or LIV first. If it’s not your vibe then Mango Ave is your next choice.

There’s really only 3 places in Fields Ave where you can meet a normal girl. In the sense that it’s not a place where you pay the establishment for girls. That’s “High Society” “Sky Trax” “Rob’s Gastropub”

CLUBS:

High Society: Biggest nicest club in Angeles. I would say 75% of the girls here are working girls or freelancers. These girls come here after work if they didn’t find a client for the night. Which is why this place gets crowded at 2am, because most of the pay for play bars on Fields Ave close by 2am. The remaining 25% of the girls is what you want. These girls are a mix of foreigners, tourists, regular working professionals or college students. But even the non-pro girls can be a freelancer sometimes. They just want some extra money on the side. Also, many of the John’s like to take the girls they bar fined (girls that they paid for the night) here and party. I’ve had plenty of situations where I would approach a girl and she would tell me “sorry but I’m taken for the night”.

Every day this place is packed. They have a cover charge on both weekdays and weekends, with no free drink included. But the weekday cover charge is cheaper than the weekend. You have to approach like crazy to filter out all the pros. For me, I think it took the 10th approach for me to finally meet a girl who wasn’t working. She told she was a receptionist at a KTV bar, I don’t know if that’s true or not but I didn’t care. We talked, danced a little, drank a little and I asked her back to my place. She agreed and never mentioned money. The next morning, I was expecting her to ask for money but she never did. She called her friend to pick her up and she left.

[Image: High-Society-Disco-Bar-Walking-Street-Fi...s-City.jpg]

Sky Trax: This is basically a smaller, lower quality version of High Society. Lots of Koreans go here. But to be honest, there’s tons of Koreans everywhere in Angeles. The music here is crazy loud, like your eardrums are about to explode. The same 75/25 ratio applies here as well.

BARS:

Rob’s Gastropub: This is the best normal club/bar I found. During the weekdays, it’s a regular bar. But on the weekends, it turns into a club and the ratio of pro and non-pro girls are better. I felt like it was the opposite ratio from “High Society” or “Sky Trax”, where it’s 75% regular girls and 25% pros. There’s a separate poker room connected to it called “Wild Aces Poker Room”. It’s a separate company but they share the same building. I would play there during most of the day and then go out at night.

[Image: Restaurants%252BPubs%252Band%252BBars%25...E2%80%8Bpg]

SIGHT SEEING

Angeles Cockpit Arena: For those of you who are curious about seeing a cock fight. This is the place to go to watch these roosters fight to the death. They attach razor blades to its legs to make it more interesting. For those of you animal rights activists out there, I would give this place a pass.

MY EXPERIENCE

For me, I feel like a one-time visit of 3 days is the most I can handle. The pollution is really bad. The streets are dirty and crowded. There’s simply not much else to do here other than the night life. Luckily for me, I was able to occupy myself with poker during the day and going out at night. One night, I was walking along Fields Ave and one of the door girls from one of the clubs caught my attention. A door girl is basically a girl who wears club style clothes (short dress) and stands outside the girly bars trying to lure in customers. These girls do not wear bikini’s and they don’t get bar fined as much as the girls who work inside.

We started talking casually and she never really pressured me or tried to push me in her club. I can tell there was a mutual attraction between us. We exchanged numbers and I told her to text me when she’s off work. Sure enough, later that night she texted me that she was off. We met at Rob’s and had 1 drink. After that went we went back to my room and she never once asked for money. The next morning, we went out for breakfast and she paid for own meal. She was a kind girl. I can tell she hasn’t become jaded or hardened by the Angeles way of life. But for how long will she remain like this I don’t know.

My ideal schedule would be that to spend only 3 days here max. Preferably, come here on the weekends because even though Fields Ave is a seedy red-light district. It’s also the main nightlife area of Angeles. If you’re coming here from Manila, I would arrive here on a Friday and leave on a Sunday. Sunday is the best day of the week to drive in Manila as there’s no traffic.

Sunday - Thursday: Secure tinder/day game dates or follow up on day 2’s. If you can’t get a date lined up, then night game is your only option. Try and find the few non-pros at High Society, if that doesn’t work then try and shore one of the pros. Also, try the door girl approach. Find the one that you feel you have a good connection with. Exchange numbers. Wait till they get off work, take them to a regular bar (yes, they do exist even in Fields Ave) and then bounce them back to your room. If they mention money to you, tell them you don’t pay for that. If they persist then just leave them and find another girl.

Friday – Saturday: Go to Rob’s Gastropub as it was the best venue on the weekends that had more regular girls then pros. If any of you found another place that has regular girls, please feel free to mention it.

CONCLUSION

The Philippines is a very popular destination for men of all ages. Everyone speaks English, the weather is always warm/hot and the cost of living is cheap. But of course, it’s mostly about the girls. Manila gets the most attention as it’s the capital city with the best night life. But the traffic, lack of tourist attractions and the overall stress of navigating this city is daunting at times. I would highly recommend for you guys to explore the secondary cities of this country. Then go check out Manila and decide which city you like the most.

Till next time, Peace!

Thanks for the detailed post as always

Sorry if you mentioned this, on my phone and literally trying to zoom in on 2 pixel text but

Did you game any Korean girls in Cebu? If so, what was it like? Are there any other foreign girls there like Japanese? (I think people go there to study English?)

Thanks

I only gamed 1 Korean girl in Cebu. I matched her on Tinder. She lives in Cebu working at one of the International Korean schools. We met up for drinks, went out to one of the clubs and went back to my place. She spoke really good English and her personality is as sweet and bubbly as her Filipina counter-parts. As far as game goes I didn't do anything different. I was just myself. She is different then the typical Korean girl you will find in Cebu. Because most of the Korean girls in Cebu are here to study English for a few months to a year and then they go home. Thus, their English skills are not as good and they're shy because of it. This girl has lived in Cebu for over 5 years and has lived in other countries around the world. One of the threads I referenced is dedicated entirely to gaming Korean girls in Cebu haha. Check that out.

Yes I have seen other foreign girls in Cebu but not many. Japanese you will find here and there and westerners are even fewer.

Park West: I rented a 1 bedroom apartment here through AirBnB. I would highly recommend this place. It’s in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) near Uptown Mall. It’s a brand-new building with a pool, gym, library and 24-hour security. The good news is that the receptionists at the front desk are not strict about signing girls in. You can walk with your girl hand in hand straight to the elevator and they won’t bother you. But if they do ask, just make sure your girl has ID on her as they will not let her up without it.

The best thing about this place is that it’s a short walk to Valkyrie, Palace Pool Club and Revel. Which are the 3 biggest clubs in BGC. The only thing is that there’s lots of construction around BGC. Thus, they turned many of the roads near Park West into a one-way road. Calling an Uber or Grab can be difficult as the drivers are forced to go all the way around due to the one-way roads. Also, the Uber or Grab GPS system has not updated for the one-way roads. Thus, the drivers get frustrated and end up canceling the ride. To make it easier, I would walk to Uptown Mall and then order your Uber or Grab to pick you up there.

Uber | Grab

In Manila and Cebu, I noticed that 90% of the time Uber is cheaper than Grab. If you’re not in a rush I recommend doing Uber Pool or Grab Share. The cost is cheaper and sometimes when they pick up another rider it can be a cute girl. I was able to get a SNL (Same Night Lay) using this. It only worked for me because I was lucky enough where the 2 girls I was pooling with were going to the same club as me. One of them was cute but the other one was fat. We talked during the ride there, got shit hammered at the club and we all went back to my place after. The fat chick passed out on my bed and me and the cute one spent the night in the living room sofa.

Other than that, I had other situations where I would get numbers from girls I pool with. Sometimes they text back, sometimes they don’t. Most of them work on the weekdays and can only meet up on the weekend. But it’s a good way of combining day game or in this case “Uber/Grab game” with your daily travel.

ONLINE GAME

Tinder | Filipino Cupid

On Tinder, I noticed that around 25% of the girls were lady boys. Filipino Cupid wasn’t as bad and had fewer lady boys.

DAY GAME

Any SM or Ayala mall is good. Even though it’s during the night time. The night market at “A. Venue” in Makati, near the Century City Mall is cool. The girl I was with took me here. They have cheap good food, a live band and I saw a good number of girls just hanging out. It’s open every night and it’s a good date spot.

For those of you who stay in BGC (like I did). They have a night market of their own every Wednesday - Saturday night. It’s located on the corner of 7th Ave and Federacion Drive. Right next to the McDonald’s in BGC Forum. BGC has many corporations and business. If you match girls on Tinder who work in BGC then this is the perfect meet up. They won’t have to fight traffic to meet you and vice-versa. If anything, she could walk to the night market. The food is cheap and I think they sell beer…? But if not there’s an Australian sports bar nearby called “Skippy’s Bar & Grill”. Good place to venue change in my opinion. Unfortunately, the BGC night market is closed on Sunday - Tuesday.

NIGHT GAME

Sunday - Tuesday are the slowest nights of the week. But there’s certain spots in the city that have people. You may not find a lot of normal girls but sometimes you might get lucky and find a few. Wednesday – Saturday there’s many places to go out and party. I will mention the clubs and bars that I have visited.

CLUBS:

Black Market: In Makati. Small-Medium size club. But good size dance floor. My favorite club in Manila and the BEST place to be for Wednesday night. It’s packed here every Wednesday night. Their Wednesday night theme is “Bad Decision Wednesdays”. This place is still good on the weekends, but for right now they own the hip-hop scene for Wednesday night in Manila. Beware they do have a cover charge of 300 pesos every Wednesday night. But, if you show up with 1 girl you get in for free. Since I’m traveling solo I just find a girl waiting in line and ask her to be my +1. They always agree, and it’s a good way to open her or her group of friends. Jakarta100bars got it right when they mentioned that this place plays everything but EDM. The main dance floor plays mainly Hip-hop of all genres (old-school, 2000’s, underground, current). On the second floor, they have another club called “Mao’s”. It’s like a club within a club (more like a separate room) but Mao’s is not as big as Black Market. It’s fairly small but I like the atmosphere there. Sometimes the dancefloor in Black Market gets too crowded so I like to chill at Mao’s. They play the same type of music at Mao’s but sometimes they throw in some punk rock, which is a welcome change of pace. Good ratio of girls for both Black Market and Mao’s. No lady boys. No pros. Good mix of locals and foreigners. Drinks are affordable.

Valkyrie: In BGC. Uptown Parade. Open Wednesday – Saturday. Gets packed on the weekends. Wednesday – Thursday there’s an 800-peso cover charge that includes 2 drinks, but there’s not as many people inside. Better to go there on Friday – Saturday which is the most crowded night. The cover charge increases to 1000-pesos but that still includes 2 drinks.

The best way to get in for free on the weekends is to find 2 girls who are on the guest list. Because 2 girls on the guest list can bring 1 guy in for free. Its free for the girls to get on the guest list, they just have to text the promoter their name plus yours and that’s it. Make sure you have ID on you (driver’s license or passport is good). Obviously, you don’t get the 2 free drinks but that’s why you pre-game at bars before coming to the club. Best way to find girls on the guest list is to approach any 2+ girls that are hanging out near the entrance or already in line. The good thing about Valkyrie is that once inside, you also get admission into Palace Pool club for free. Vice-versa as well. Getting admission into Palace Pool club via guest list or paying the cover charge, grants you admission into Valkyrie for free. But this does not apply for Revel.

Back on topic. Valkyrie is probably the biggest and most popular mainstream club in Manila. It’s a big luxurious club, but it has a small dance floor. Most of it is consumed by tables. Mostly EDM and top 40 music. Sometimes they have guest DJ’s and artists from around the world that perform here. Upscale crowd. Ratio of girls is good. No lady boys. No pros that I encountered but you never know.

Palace Pool Club: In BGC. Uptown Parade. Open Wednesday – Saturday. Same thing applies with Valkyrie where its so-so on Wednesday – Thursday and obviously the most crowded on Friday - Saturday. Massive outdoor pool club that is in the same building as Valkyrie and Revel. During the summer months which is also the rainy season here in the Philippines, it can be too hot to stay outside for long. When it rains everyone goes inside to Valkyrie or they go back to their tables, which has a cover overhead to block the rain. But when it’s not raining and it’s a cool summer night (rare but happens sometimes) it’s a good place to be. They have a giant dance floor, probably the biggest I’ve seen in the Philippines. But not as many people go on the dance floor because it’s too hot to dance for long. No one swims in the swimming pool (not when I was there). Good ratio of girls. No lady boys. No pros that I saw or encountered. Same type of music as Valkyrie. I think this place is much better during the winter months when its dry season. There’s no rain and the weather is perfect outside to dance and drink.

Revel: In BGC. Uptown Parade. I think it’s open every day. Same building as Valkyrie and Palace Pool club. I’ve been here on weekdays and it was very mediocre at best. Handful of people at most. Weekends are the best time. I don’t know if the 2 girls 1 guy guest list rule applies here. But I do know that there’s a 1000-peso cover that include 1 or 2 free drinks on weekends. Weekdays are free. My local friend told me that they have Hip-Hop night on Saturdays, but I never got a chance to check it out. Maybe someone can go and confirm that for me. Medium size club. No dance floor to speak of. Nothing but tables on tables.

Prive: In BGC. The Fort Strip. Jakarta 100 bars recommends that this is the Tuesday night spot. Sadly, when I went there that wasn’t the case. There were maybe 20 people grouped in tables and that was it. Small club. No dance floor to speak of. My local friends tell me that this place has been forgotten ever since Valkyrie, Revel and Palace Pool club opened. Never been on weekends but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t as busy.

ZZYZX: In Malate. Seedy red-light district. Open every day. 90% if not 100% of the girls here are pros. Medium size club. Small dance floor. Lots of Koreans and a few Japanese. Gets crowded at 1am. Super thick cigarette smoke smell. Very poor ventilation. You’re only bet here is to try and shore one of these pros. Good luck. If you’re desperate to go out on Monday or Tuesday night then this the only spot I found that had lots of people in it.

Exclusive: In Malate. Basically, a smaller less popular version of ZZYZX. The vibe, the girls and set up is exactly the same. Except that there’s not as many Koreans and Japanese (when I was there). I saw more locals and foreigners from elsewhere. But I could be wrong. Regardless, I wouldn’t go here. Give it a pass.

BARS:

Finders Keepers: In Makati. Same building as Black Market. Open Wednesday – Saturday. This is one of my favorite bars. It’s a small bar but its crowded every night its open. Just like Black Market they play Hip Hop of all genres. Great late-night spot open till 5am. Good place to start the night. Good ratio of girls. No lady boys. No pros.

Skinny Mike’s Sports Bar: In BGC. Cool sports bar with affordable drinks for BGC standards. Good place for a chill night of beers. Good spot for dates.

Yes Please: In BGC. On the 2nd floor of Uptown Parade. Next to Revel. Went here on the weekend and this place gets busy. Great place to start the night. Good ratio of girls. No pros. I saw 1 ladyboy the whole night. I don’t know how it’s like on the weekdays.

SIGHT SEEING

Intramuros: In Old Manila. Probably one of the few tourist spots in the city. It has many old Spanish churches and monuments.

MY EXPERIENCE

I enjoyed my stay in BGC. I was walking distance to the clubs, Uptown Mall and High Street. It’s safe, new, big wide roads, sidewalks are clean and not broken down. Air quality is better here since Jeepneys and Tricycles are forbidden. But once I leave my little bubble I’m reminded of the shit traffic, pollution and terrible roads/sidewalks. But I still enjoyed my time here. I met this girl from Filipino Cupid and chilled with her for most of my stay. The nights I wasn’t with her, I would go on Tinder dates or go out solo. Sometimes I would go out with my local friends on the weekends.

Ideal Night Game Schedule:

Sunday: B-Side at Collective. I never been but as per Jakarta100bars, it has reggae nights on Sundays and it gets crowded. Worth a shot.

Monday - Tuesday: ZZYZX. Personally, I would rather just stay in on these nights because I don’t like ZZYZX. But, if you’re desperate to go out then this is the only place I found that was crowded.

Wednesday: Black Market

Thursday: Black Market | Valkyrie | Palace Pool Club | Revel. These places may not be packed but they’ll have some people. Also try “XX XX”. It’s near Black Market and Jakarta100bars mentions that this place gets crowded.

Friday - Saturday: Any club is good.

If anyone else knows a good spot on any given night. Please comment.

CONCLUSION

Manila is a great city for single men. There’s a reason why it’s mentioned so much in the forum. Online dating works great. Night life is plentiful, cost of living is relatively cheap, and of course the girls... Yes, traffic sucks, there’s not much to do tourist wise and Wi-Fi speeds can be hit or miss. But the formers still outweigh the latter’s. Hopefully you enjoyed this Datasheet. Till next time, Peace!

The Asian Travel Guide to Asia

Just a funny story I wanted to share about how a small city or in this case a small country could really show you the limited number of hot girls.

About a year ago, I picked up this girl from the bookstore. She was tall, beautiful and smart and after about 20mins of banter, I got her number and we texted for quite abit before I suddenly received a text from an unknown number that read "Hey, this is XXX's boyfriend, she wouldn't be free to go for lunch on saturday(I asked her out), hope you understand bro."

I found the situation funny and I didnt have the heart to reply that maybe your focus should be on why your girl was giving out her number but he was polite so I replied with "Sure thing man" and I thought that was it and I soon forgot about the entire encounter.

Fast forward a year, I had enlisted in the military for about 8months and I was going through a course when I met this dude, friendly guy who got along well with everyone. We were partners for a particular exercise and got to know each other alittle better. He was put in charge of an event and I needed to text him my attendance so I fire his number into my whatsapp and was surprised to see that we had a chat history in my Whatsapp archived conversations, I have never texted him.

When I open the message, yup you guessed it, he was the boyfriend from my number close a year ago! I was pretty taken aback because this was a nice guy that I have just gotten to know and I obviously care alot more about our friendship than his girlfriend that I haven't seen for a year nor remember the face of. I was worried that he would see the same message if I sent him my confirmation text and the chat history popped up. I chose to RSVP in person.

It is insane how coincidental the entire encounter was but fellas, you can never be too careful...
