I know I've gotten a bit nerdy with the whole thing lately by recording every one of my approaches, numbers, and notches, but does anyone have a solid or even rough idea of the difference between their notch counts in NYC vs any other US city? If so, a bit of context would be nice.

I'm thinking something like:

In Seattle I had 10 notches over the course of one year and spent x amount of time day gaming and x amount of time night gaming. My game at the time was intermediate.

vs.

In NYC I had 50 notches over the course of two and a half years with x amount of time day and night gaming. My game at the time was advanced.

Neither of those two scenarios happened to me, and I've actually never been to Seattle, was just an example.

I understand it may be hard to have a very clear answer about what I'm asking which is the exact reason why I began logging my actions. I just think this sort of comparison would be particularly useful to answering the question posed in the OP.



As for my own NYC experience I think I was there a total of 3 months over the course of 3-4 attempts to live there. The longest I was there at a single time was a little under 2 months. I lived in Brooklyn mainly and at the time my game was still in it's infancy even compared to now where I am not close to advanced. I am however 6'2'' and at the time weighed around 205-210 and easily had a top 5 or 10 % body.

It was so long ago that I have no idea how much I approached, but my approach anxiety was so strong that it couldn't have been too many times. Hell at the time I would get extremely nervous and not even talk to any women in bars.

I left the city with 3 notches, all of which were mainly initiated by the girl herself.

If it is relevant at all given my lack of time in NYC and lack of experience with women when I was younger, I was getting very blatant IOI's from women regularly on a level I have not experienced anywhere since (only really been in Texas and California since and for much of that time I've been at least 50 and up to 100 pounds overweight).

I once asked a girl for directions around what I think was W 4th. Probably a 7 or 7.5 white girl. She said she'd give me directions but only if I stood with her for a couple of minutes.

Worked a service industry job in a tourist heavy area and a Dutch girl basically forced me to take her number and that was my first NYC notch and Dutch flag. The whole thing didn't even require a standard date and cost me a $15 bottle of wine.

Many women of several different races would talk to me beyond normal conversation. A Trini-American 30 something purposely got on a cardio machine next to me at the gym and talked to me for several minutes making lots of innuendos.

None of these examples are anything to brag about, but they are just some of the many where women in NYC were very forward with me beyond anything I was used to. Although I was overweight for much of the time after leaving NYC, there were long periods where I was in the same great shape in LA and Texas where I didn't have many similar experiences to those in NYC except once where a stripper had sex with me for free within 10 minutes of meeting me in Texas.

So I can't say women in NYC are more slutty from lack of experience, but I think I can confidently say they are more forward.

By the way, since others have brought up race, I'm a light skinned Middle Eastern guy.

There are probably already plenty of nyc datasheets, but I have consistently met the hottest girls of the city in lower Manhattan, the upper parts of Brooklyn(Bedford, Williamsburg, Dumbo), and the upper West side. If you spend enough time just walking around midtown and on the subway stops around midtown, you will find a LOT of hot tourists from all over the country and all over the world, and a lot of them are cool.

I've been in NYC about 4 months, its a great place to live, great place to make money, and great place to game women. People in general are more direct here, and I think the girls are a bit more realistic, they know there are a lot of other hot girls out there that they are competing with and are a little nicer when talking to strange men they don't know, compared to other cities as a result

I was thinking the same thing. NYC is stupid easy for 6/7s for the average guy compared to any other place in the US all things being equal. The women are generally in shape, decent looking, and are very thirsty for real men. Plus, the ratios are in men's favor and the women KNOW it and act accordingly (how many other places in the US can you say that for?) If you want an LTR, then I can see that being a problem but that's a problem anywhere in the US. But in the most the country, just having a constant supply of 6/7s who are single and DTF is a pipedream.

I think the issue with some of the NYC residents who are not so optimistic about dating life there is because maybe their logistics are shit and/or they have no perspective of what the dating scene is like in 95% of the rest of the US; where there is a very limited supply of 6+'s and women in the 2-6 range (yes, fucking 2... it's that bad in some places) act like massive entitled cunts. Turnover and re-supply is also thousand times slower than NYC so when the well runs dry, you're fucked for a good while. Does that ever happen in NYC? Hell fuckin no.

Don't get me wrong: NYC isn't a paradise for many reasons. But strictly talking about ease of banging decent looking women consistently for as long as one desires? It doesn't get better in the US for the average guy with some game.

I guess that means they are sick of going to a party or a bar, and there are a dozen or more better looking women than them that get all the attention, they aren't happy about it? None of these girls were bad looking(certainly in the 6-7 range), but just don't like being constantly overshadowed by better looking women I guess? I just sort of laughed and was thinking "you need to step up your game, join a gym, eat super healthy, and take better care of yourself and find clothing/makeup to make yourself look as good as possible" and then you won't be lamenting the hot women of New York because you will be one of them". I didn't actually say that, but that was what was running through my mind in each case.

The west coast is far more casual than the east coast though. LA is the land of jeans, sweats, and sneakers. We invented casual.

Unless you're talking specifically about Hollywood nightclubs and other more "upscale" venues, LA is a pretty bad offender when it comes to casual dress and "bumming it".

The vast majority of H1-B visa applicants are men. Men imported from foreign countries are vastly skewing the male to female ratios, especially in places like Silicon Valley. There are literally thousands upon thousands of software engineers and others who are overwhelmingly male, competing with native-born men. The same applies for visas granted for medical positions, most of which are staffed by men.
