I'll try to explain it the best that I can here. What kind of girls do I want? What's the kind of venues do they frequent? What is the age of the people in the venue? What kind of guys can I expect to deal with when there? For me, the answer to those questions depends on my previous experiences and what kind of environments I'm most comfortable with. I'm still trying to find the best niche for myself, but without going into too much detail, I tend to prefer a younger crowd in a well-populated bar with most of my approaches going toward white women. It's best if I find places best suited to that preference as well as my own personal game, which is consistently a work in progress.

As for other guys, I don't really care much about them unless a place is a sausage fest or they present some kind of a cockblock. From what I notice, most guys tend to roll in groups with themselves, and mixed groups with girls aren't uncommon.


And I agree with travolta to some extent. What he describes is standard behavior I find with American girls in the lower and mid-end venues in places such as the East Village and Lower East Side. Places with more foreigners or higher-end clientele might be different, but I can't speak to that. Personally, I kind of wish I ran into more foreigners on the occasions that I do get to go out, but there are also many places I haven't checked out either. That's just the sheer size of the city.

Assertive girls aren't sluttier just because they live in NYC.

It just seems like there are more sluttier girls because there is a bigger population to choose from, wearing less, in better shape, partying harder. But the notion that some 26-yr old lawyer is going to bang you because she's single or has had 100 lovers is no more true than in any other city.

The one thing that is easier to get would be the model quality 18-22 yr old girl who is actually a model: broke, gets rejected all day, has 3 other roommates in a 1-bdrm, knows her career arc is super-short. And you don't need to be rich to snag them either, a beer and pizza is more than they can afford on their own -- and they don't eat much!

I was thinking the same thing. NYC is stupid easy for 6/7s for the average guy compared to any other place in the US all things being equal. The women are generally in shape, decent looking, and are very thirsty for real men. Plus, the ratios are in men's favor and the women KNOW it and act accordingly (how many other places in the US can you say that for?) If you want an LTR, then I can see that being a problem but that's a problem anywhere in the US. But in the most the country, just having a constant supply of 6/7s who are single and DTF is a pipedream.

I think the issue with some of the NYC residents who are not so optimistic about dating life there is because maybe their logistics are shit and/or they have no perspective of what the dating scene is like in 95% of the rest of the US; where there is a very limited supply of 6+'s and women in the 2-6 range (yes, fucking 2... it's that bad in some places) act like massive entitled cunts. Turnover and re-supply is also thousand times slower than NYC so when the well runs dry, you're fucked for a good while. Does that ever happen in NYC? Hell fuckin no.

Don't get me wrong: NYC isn't a paradise for many reasons. But strictly talking about ease of banging decent looking women consistently for as long as one desires? It doesn't get better in the US for the average guy with some game.

NYC is the home of the ball busting bitch. If you want a bad time, with a marginal women who dresses well and a massive ego, you've found the right place. New York is fucking easy for getting girls. Last time I was there I just got a good located hotel. Met a 21 year old girl on a first date from online on my second night. They're right. The key word is "dating". There's a massive difference between being a dater and being a player. NYC is great for one and horrible for the other.

If I was looking for a good spouse NYC is the last place I'd be: a work culture where the norm is that you're in the office every waking hour, massive promiscuity, and an amazing prevalence of shitty, stuck up attitudes. If you're looking for hookups the sheer quantity and ease with which you can get hookups would be the determining factor.

I asked and I was referring to the ease of picking up girls and not how the city itself is.

Bangkok is still Asia. I'd be amazed if it still isn't much easier in Bangkok versus New York, but I haven't been much in New York.
