OK, that was me.

I remember virtually nothing from the incident as I am pretty sure I received a mild concussion, as I was certainly feeling very out of sorts for a few days afterwards. I was having to rely on my mate and fellow forum member Balls Deep who was with me (and unfortunately got a bit of a shoeing as well while trying to back me up) to fill me in on the details of exactly what happened.

Basically I was pretty much the most wasted I had been in a long time. Myself, Balls Deep and Brisey had met up a week previous in Belgrade and we all shared an airbnb together. We clicked from the off and had similar styles of game (all liking the higher end nightgame scene). So naturally we all got on like a house on fire and the banter was quality. We had a long week of intensive nightgaming being out every night with some daygaming also thrown in to boot. Great lads, great fun and we are already planning a reunion somewhere in a few months time (ideally Jakarta, watch this space)

So it was the last night out together before Brisey had to fly back home and all 3 of us secured our flags the previous night. So we just decided to take our foot off the gas a little bit game wise, hit one of the more upscale clubs on the Splavs, and get a bottle and just have a blast on one big final farewell night out. Balls Deep wasn't drinking that much but Brisey and I smashed through most of the bottle surprisingly quickly. We didn't want to go a second bottle as that would've been a bit much, but given the bar was absolutely rammed and it was so cheap anyway we did for convenience. Having had a pretty mental night out the previous night and having got precious little sleep thanks to bringing home a nympho serbian chick, I probably wasn't in the best shape to be going this big. If it wasn't Brisey's last night I certainly would've stayed in.

At the end of the night myself and Balls Deep are leaving the club (Brisey had disappeared earlier). From what he tells me we made some half assed attempt to talk to some girls on the way out to which they blew us off (the hotter chicks at the Splav clubs can be quite hard work in general). We didn't make anything of it but then some cab driver came over to white knight to tell us to leave them alone. White knighting being a pet peeve of mine, I started to clown him a bit patronising him saying the girls still aren't going to fuck him if he's trying to be their knight in shining armour. Like all white knights he gets stupendously offended by this and starts punching me. Balls Deep steps in to break it up but then cabbie picks up a large tree branch and begins to pummel us both with it.

The dude isn't big but has a huge ass buddy standing behind him who neither of us were equipped to fuck with. But instead of running away like BD is trying to get me to do, I try to calm him down and diffuse the situation. To which I take a few more nasty blows on the head and by the time BD gets me out of there I am bleeding from the back of my head. Apart from ruining the back of my shirt I didn't think it was that big a deal at the time, was only a couple of days later it sunk in. I am pretty embarrassed about the whole incident.

I want to emphasise that getting into bar scrapes and being an 'angry drunk' is really not my style. In fact I generally have a good track record of being able to spot and diffuse such situations where other friends have got themselves into a scrape in a bar and by the end of it we are all shaking hands and buying eachother drinks after. A couple of forum members will recall a particularly hairy situation a girl in Jakarta put me in with 7 dudes which I managed to talk my way out of a few months back. Hence I stupidly thought I could calm the situation down instead of just walking away.

Note this is the first ass kicking I have EVER been involved since hitting bars and clubs and running game. From the sounds of it the kicking was pretty deserved and for the most part Belgrade is a very safe city bar a minority of shifty taxi drivers trying to screw you on fares. I don't mind the beat down and it serves as a good lesson to not get so arse-about-face drunk again but the worst part for me was dragging my friend into it and being responsible for him getting him a kicking when he was just trying to get my dumb drunk ass out of there.

A special mention also to Pain Positive who went out of his way to take us out round the city and show us a good time. The guy spits tight game and knows the scene. Each night out he would know where various parties were happening and should they suck he would have plan b, c and D at the ready...

Serbian Women...
Are far from perfect (for the sake of some constructive criticism). There is a very widespread culture of smoking to avoid weight gain as opposed to hitting the gym and eating well and it manifests itself in the form of flat flabby asses and somewhat unhealthy looking skin that is often partially hidden under make-up but not always obvious at night or from a distance. Chicks definitely age very poorly here and I often find myself guessing any given girl is 3-4+ years older than she actually is despite being an age guessing 'rainman' in other countries. Every Serbian guy I've mentioned this stuff to has gone on a rant of agreement.

If you don't like smokers/general unhealthiness, soft asses, or tallness (a big percentage are 5'8"ish+) any one of those factors is going to significantly narrow the field for you. If you don't like two or three of those things then there's a decent chance you won't be particularly happy with Serbian women. To their credit they do tend to have likable personalities, dress pretty well and there are obviously some pretty ones.

Nightlife
There's a lot going on but to be honest it often looks way cooler than it is. Quite a few places are sit down/table centric venues and once you've been out a ton you start to realize that a good percentage of the quality chicks were invited out with the group and not going to be easily accessible. Unfortunately the venues where the women are the easiest to approach the quality isn't nearly as good (lots of 5s and 6s with the occasional 7). Savamala was mentioned as "good" for girls but that area seems very average and effectively never gets 8+s and the occasional 7s are typically with grenade in tow. Women aren't particularly cockblocky here but it definitely does happen. It's more often a logistical issue to find a wingman willing to tend to their busted or 6'2" friend.

Safety
It's generally pretty safe just walking down a random street at night, but if you're the type to get drunk and act stupid in a venue you are for sure risking getting roughed up. Something that might get you a stern request to leave the bar in the states in Serbia might entail you getting lit up in the men's bathroom by security. I know a serbian girl who got violently grabbed by the hair by a bouncer because she tried to reenter the club to find a friend. Probably a rare occurrence, but I did also see a girl get shot in the knee cap in one of the splavs two years ago, granted it's probably pretty rare for people to have guns out at night. I'm not trying to fear monger because it's generally safe if you act normal, but it's worth noting that bouncers/mafia bros/taxi drivers will not hesitate to throw down if you're acting out of line or refusing to pay their exorbitant rigged meter fee. You should call for taxis or negotiate the fare beforehand if it's a guy waiting outside of a nightlife spot.


Cliff notes: 1) Women: very tall/chain smoking/semi soft bodies/tough to access in the upper echelon 2) Nightlife: looks cool but mostly just access to 5-6s and occasional 7s when you really boil it down 3) Safety: safe in general, but bouncers/taxi drivers will throw down if you are confrontational/causing problems - call taxis (Gold/Lux/Pink are legit) or negotiate the fair before getting in if it's a random company late night.

I've spent a few weeks in Belgrade a twice w/in the last 14 months and while I've enjoyed the city I dont think its as great as a lot of people seem to think. Savamala was decent but there are only 10 or so places and they aren't anything special. There are certainly some very beautiful girls in the city but I dont know how accessible they are to the average person. Pretty much all of the girls are thin though, unlike in the US, and they are feminine and usually well dressed. I wasnt overly impressed w/the nightlife though. I found the people very friendly and helpful. If you take taxi's on a regular basis you can tell when you are being screwed and just have the driver stop and pull over and take the $4 loss or whatever it is and not deal with it. I think if you are banging lots of girls there you are probably pulling 6's or 7's but not the top end girls.

I have been meeting all my girls from Day Game. It works very well in this city and I can say that it is possible to access very high quality girls (9+ model looking types) during the day who would otherwise blow you off at night.

I agree with ChickMagnet and PainPositive. Getting numbers is very easy, even from hot girls. It's fucking them which is difficult.

And be realistic, if your fucking 5s, you'll only do slightly better in the East, like 6-7s. You still need to bring the variety of good tools in your arsenal. Good game alone or moving to a country with more attractive women isn't going to get you 8-9s alone.

I also have to add that if one is like myself and cannot spend more than 1.5 weeks in a place due to work obligations then time will be the biggest cock-blocker you can face. For time challenged guys like myself having to go on 3-4 dates over the course of a week/2 weeks to get a 7 just ain't worth it anymore. Been there, done that in Kiev, Minsk, Moscow.

Whatever rocks your boat. For my personal standards she is a 9.5. Your standards must be way higher than mine so I understand where you are coming from.

I was simply asked how I would rate her so I gave an honest assessment. Whether other guys would rate her lower it is up to their own personal tastes.

It has been discussed ad nauseam already. Everyone should recognise that girl is at least an 8, regardless of what their preferences are. The last point is entirely down to personal preferences and factors which cannot be ascertained through photos: her voice, walk, demeanour, fashion, social class, etc.
