To do this need several factors

city to be needed great ...Sumy have fantastic girls, but Sumy newer been pussy -capital...this city have only 300 000 peoples..in a city 300 000 you will soon all be seen with foreigners..start rumors and gossip..it can find your local guy-BF..))
and in Kharkov you can have a BF and fuck with the foreigners ..or other local guys..

Now Kiev its pussy-capital...of course.. but Kharkiw city number 2 -1,5-2 mln.population!!!!! Great shoise girls, many students from village and another town (from Sumy also)

I was checking out a map and Kharkov is sort of near the confilct. Is it business as usual there?

girls and women from the military region are actually many ... it's not like the local girls ..bekous that they reduce the price of sex ...of course..young girl- students from the Sumy that has 1000 hriwnas per month (50 USD) of her parents and 600-700 hriwnas stypenty uniwersitas in month and live in hostel with 3 girls -this very good or not ???in social sense?))) and every day she sees the expensive boutiques in centre Kharkiw.. ..where women's panties for $ 100..but it can not even buy panties for $ 4-6..it is a cruel torture for women of course...it can not buy a good makeup and boots ..
kilogram of meat in ukraine costs 80-100 hryvnia!!!! (4-5 USD)..

many foreigners are furious at the fact that Ukrainian girl too many ate at the cafe ...(200-300 hriwnas)...They require it to pay its part of the dinner -150 hriwnas ) ..for women it is a huge loss ... and she will not pay...powerty....Of course if a guy buys her panties or just give money, it will be positive ...of course...or just buy her sweets and brings in a cafe..if the foreigner is not old and not ugly))) and not rudy...(and lick))) ..Why not?

More bad news for Kharkov

http://www.fool.com/investing/general/20...g-loc.aspx

The true reason for the coup is now becoming apparent (selling off of state assets for a song to private interests and speculators). Some people including Hunter Biden (son of Joe) are about to get rich while for the 90%+ Ukrainians its nothing but more misery and economic woe.

The Ukrainian people were sold the lie of 'democracy' and 'freedom'. They are about to find out the hard way. Ukraine's about to get ass raped.

The situation for Belarus isn't much better

Anyone been in 2016? Im thinking of heading that way this month. Not sure whether the political system has worsened and is now affected Kharkiv.

The conflict is only in Lugansk and Donetsk regions, it has not affected Kharkov. There are a lot of displaced Ukrainian citizens living in Kharkov waiting for the dispute to be resolved. Although most are slowly heading back as they run out of money to live outside of Lugansk and Donetsk.

You will have to work at it. But it is a university city so that helps with the number of girls. ONS are going to be difficult, but not impossible.

Better female-to-male ratio there than in Kiev or West; but not a desirable city, at best a 'one day visit', the only tourist draw is the Cathedral.

Quality way better than Lviv, slightly better than Kiev but harder work seems to be the general consensus.

Of course some will say it's easy there, some will say it's hard. Some will say that in order to have success in Kharkiv you will need fluent Russian, 3 years experience of living in Ukraine, 5000 approaches under your belt, and be dressed in Prada from head to toe

So we have to take a number of variables into consideration to get the real truth, or just go there and see

I hope that Mr. Putin does not have any crazy ideas with Ukraine over the next couple of months but if he stays quiet I am considering to base myself in Kharkov next year for at least three months to study Russian and take occasional trips to Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Zapp and Poltava.

I only spent 5 days in Kharkov this summer so this might not be 100% accurate but here are some pros and cons:

Pros:
- You get a much better apartment for the same price as you would get in Kiev. For $600 a month you get a one bedroom apartment in the center with modern furniture kitchen and bathroom. For the same price you would get a Sowjet style studio around Kreshatyk in Kiev.
- Nightlife is much better than Kiev. More choices of nightclubs and people tend to party more and harder than in Kiev.
- There is still a foreigner factor if you go out, while in Kiev being a foreigner does not help a lot.
- Girls in clubs are hotter than in Kiev in my opinion and also having less of an attitude. Furthermore the 8s and 9s seem to be less gold diggerish than in Kiev.
- Very few foreigners. Foreigners I saw were mostly students from Turkey and some poor African countries.
- If daygame is your thing you will not have any street packed with PUAs like you have in Kreshatyk street.

Cons:
- English is less spoken. But was not a big problem for me.
- The city itself is not spectacular there is not really a lot of things to see. Although it has many green parks and areas where people sit outside in summer. I found Dnepropetrovsk much worse.
- Daygamers might not have as many targets as they have in Kiev. More hotter girls walking around in Kiev but during the night it is a different story.
- Less choice if you do online game but also less competition. I matched with maybe 80% of all girls who were on Tinder.
- Not many foreigners. For some of you guys this might be an advantage but personally I sometimes like to go to a pub and talk some shit with some expats while getting pissed.

@The Natural. If you are in Kiev anyway just take a 5 hour train ride for Kharkov for a weekend and see if you like it or. The train is really comfortable and very cheap.

I like Kharkov but the place is devoid of any charm for me. As you said there are few Western Foreigners but they are TONNES or Turk and Arab students.

If you are taking some Russian classes then that's good as you will have something to do in the daytime, as there is not a lot to do apart from maybe sit in a cafe and watch the butts go past, or some daygame. Finding people to hangout with will be difficult, you would need to make friends with some local Ukrainian guys, better that they have some money so they are able to wing you at Bolero club.

The amount of students there has made accommodation availability scarce, especially at this time of year. When I was enquiring about prices, I saw little difference from Kiev tbh.

The nightlife is certainly good there, you have at least three decent clubs you can rotate.

All in all I would choose Kiev though

I was there in August and only saw a few most likely because they went back home during university vacation.

I took the first apartment i found on booking.com it was a one bedroom apartment two minutes from university metro station. Modern furniture for $20 a night. Best value for money I had during all my EE travels.

Someone said Kiev is great in winter because of lack of foreigners and the way the girls are in the winter. So 2nd/3rd tier cities like Kharkov must be amazing.

Accommodation costs are insanely cheap. A private room in Ukraine is way cheaper than a dorm in Germany, France, and Switzerland!

Let us know your impressions of Kharkiv. Thinking about a trip there in November. Any good centralized daygame locations such as Khreschatyk in Kiev?

I was just there for a week. Daygame is pretty shit. The area around university metro station is the best. With this weather it can be hard to tell how hot a girl is bundled up in winter gear. Nightlife is better than Kiev for sure. People party and let loose.

For a city of 1.5 million it felt really small to me. Calgary, Ab has less people but feels twice as big.
