I'd say Dnipro girls are more straightforwardly friendly and slutty. There's a level of (pleasant) crazyness in them that I never saw anywhere. Consider that Dnipro is an industrial shithole while Kharkiv is an international student/cultural city with lot of cafes and cultural events, so probably girls in Kharkiv might be a bit more sophisticated. All the girls I met from Dnipro were extremely naive.

In Dnipropetrovsk I had the time of my life and it's where I fucked one of the most beautiful girls of my player career. It's a shit-hole, grim and rundown, in comparison Kharkiv seems Paris. Cover was 80 hrv at the time. I would describe the atmosphere as "friendly wild bunch". No to get laid there is not an option.

About the city, stay in the center (Labyrinth and Jackson area). There's no reason to go to live anywhere else.
I didn't notice any safety issue. I walked alone at every hour of the night and never had the smallest problem.

Then there's the Dnipro river. I heard in summer people go camping on the banks of it. My imagination and my experience with local girls leads me to assume people go there spending the weekends getting drunk, partying and fucking each-other inside the camping tents like there's no tomorrow.

It turns out Kharkov's nightlife is good in spring, second only to September/October. This is no surprise, spring is good pretty much everywhere in Eastern Europe.

I was in Odessa around this time last year. I prefer Kharkiv's nightlife right now over Odessa's last year at this time. I suppose this will change in June as the tourist season in Odessa picks up and things die down a bit here.

Lika when we hung out in early August, it was quiet here. If you had visited a month later, it would have been much different. Even a month earlier would have been better.

Yeah Banana club in Zaporizhia is special, Panorama in Kharkov is much smaller. Panorama has awesome food but I don't see the point of going to the club part as it's small and there are better options.

Garzero showed me a hipster bar near University Metro called Starik Khem. Not nearly as big as Shkaf or True Man in Odessa, but it was a cool place, nice vibe. Ukrainian hipster girls must be the hottest hipsters in the world.

Being near University Metro is probably the place to be in Kharkiv. If anyone is planning to visit, try to stay there or within one metro stop.

Yes, I think city center is the best option also. The universities are also there (metro stations Arkitechtora Beketova and Universytet).

So good day game spots are naturally the area near the Uni, you have also park Schevchenko (in sumskaya avenue), and I use to have success in a small park in Puchisnkaya that is right between a Mafia restaurant, the metro exit, and a busy bus stop.
I have heard also that a new market has opened now in the center, full of coffee shops and catering places.

I am quite sure you will have fun in Kharkov.
