To my eyes this city is not such a shit-hole as Roosh decribed in BU. I guess he never was in Dnipropetrovsk, lol.
Might be due to the springtime that just began, but the place is fully alive, with lot of people strolling in the big and well mantained city centre, day and night. So many girls, you can't imagine. Lot of eye contacts during day-time. Last night I was at Radmir club, seems like people want to have the best fun in this very moment, due to the war being just a couple hundreds km away. Bartenders pour more alchol they are supposed to in your drink, girls are dressed up and dance like crazy. Ratio was barely believable, at the beginning of the night I'd say 1/15, then 1/8. Funny to see that relaxed feeling of abundance in the faces of the guys in the venue.
If someone happens to come by, please drop me a line.
Atmosphere in the city, as I said, is relaxed and you wouldn't say the conflict zone is so close: streets, cafes and clubs are crowded, and there are so many hotties out and about, that after a couple of days you stop noticing them.
In the whole period of the conflict there were just two serious accidents here, both involving solely political activists, but of course you must keep in mind that something can happen anytime, so it takes some balls and a light level of recklessness to come here. But for what I've seen so far, it's totally worth it.

+1 to you for going there. You mentioned political problems, could you be more precise? Has it do to with protests or what?

Did roosh v and yourself visit kharkiv at different times of the year to take a different view on the place or is it just a subjective view of what constitutes a 'shithole'? Are there any cool war memorials there - I think there were 4 main battles over the city during WW2 when the Germans seized it, lost it, retook the city post-Stalingrad, and surrendered it for good in 1943

Yes, Kharkiv has great ratios overall and sometimes they are amazing.

Roosh arrived during a cold February when the weather is depressing and during a time when the nightlife is at perhaps at its lowest point. Kharkiv is more about clubs than bars, it has few expats so it's not the best place to go solo, perhaps that had something to do with Roosh's experience here. The city has developed some since Roosh's stay, there are more cafes, bars, etc, for example, Moskvich Bar is a new bar in the center, it's sometimes good.

Garzero, Bolero is another good club. It was dead on Wednesday, but it can be very good, I suggest going there during a weekend (like tonight).

Kharkiv in September/October is a great time. Summer is not bad. I'm not sure about spring, this is my first spring here.

It would be long to explain in details, you should probably read all the coverage about the Kharkiv politcal situation as I did in the past weeks, but, to make it short, the city has a preminent russian speaking population and there are some still active pro-russian "terrorist" groups here. At least for the moment, they are hitting just "symbolic" targets, avoiding human casualities, though in the recent past they made some casualities.

As I mentioned, I visited other ukrainan cities, Dnipropetrovsk for instance, which has a similiar size and population. In comparison, Kharkiv seems way wealthier, at least for what concerns the (large) city center: buildings seem freshly painted and there are a lot of brand new cafes and restaurants. The park I was today (Park Gorky) is exceptionally well mantained and pleasant.

I was in Dnepropetrovsk and I really didn't like the atmosphere there for some reason. I didn't feel safe and I found people aggressive and without manners but I got laid a lot (4 cute to very cute girls in 2 weeks, mainly from pipelining). It is actually quite a rich city as a financial and industrial center.

Then I went to Kharkiv and, contrary to Dnepropetrovsk, I felt extremely good (in the center), almost like in a Western European town. I really liked the city and the people too and it is true that Bolero and arguably Radmir, are the best clubs for pick up in Ukraine (my club game is weak though)

But in 2 weeks in Kharkiv, I didn't get laid once, despite my best efforts... (I could have banged a few 6s but I declined)

I suspect that girls, although friendly, are very wary of non Russian speaking foreigners there (I'm white). I think they are also very racist.

I would be interested to know your results with girls in Kharkiv.

Yes it's true that in Dnipropetrovsk getting laid is not that difficult, I'd almost say the game there is a mere: assume you gonna fuck her on the first date.

My aim here in Kharkiv is to find a young sweetheart for medium or long term relationship. As I wrote already here in the forum, my last ukrainan gf was 20 years younger than me, but I was in Krakov and still on a full-game mode, so I ended up losing her. Now my intention is to double that result and calming down a little.

Sure, I'll let you know how things will go, even though in five days here will start national russian holidays, lasting 9 days, in which many people think there will be terrorist attacks, so I'm not sure how long I will stay.

I think Kamaki would know what shaslik is [Image: smile.gif] , every time I see photos of bolero posted on their Vk page it seems very ethnic and has a heavy influence from the numerous foreign students there. Kharkiv now is a bit risky, but so is any city in Europe . Logistics are not good if you want to visit neighboring cities unless its Poltava. Dnipropetrovsk is less than 200km away but the train journey is 6 hours , kiev the same, Donetsk out of the question. Most of the refugees went to Russia only the pensioners have stayed I ukraine . Pipelining is big in kharkiv , top face is like Ukrainian tinder

My friend, nobody is above banging ukranian 6s, especially if they are younger than 24. But I feel your pain. There are too many 6s in Warsaw, that are available, but not enough young 7s or above.

I would not just consider Bolero and Radmir and the high end clubs in Kharkov but also lower end places like Plasma. Plasma was my favourite place there. Quality was definitely less than Bolero but attitudes and prices were always better IMO. Plasma seems to attract a lot of younger girls and many out of towners whether girls living in local satellite towns or further afield. My white God factor is high there whereas in the other places it seems non existent and sometimes even a negative.

Here is a post about a SNL I had on my last trip to Kharkov at Plasma:

Having said that I've never seen such ratios as at Radmir where on occasion it can be you and about 20 women on the dance floor. Would return in a heartbeat.

Saturday at Panorama was great too. The surprising thing was that many girls were not together with male company as you could expect in such a high-end club.

Interesting because I went one time to Plasma and hated it: average looking lower class girls with a bad attitude. I didn't like the club logistics, the young assholes and the Turkish/African foreigners either. It depends on the night I guess...

Due to the drastic fall of the grivna at the moment, going to cheap clubs doesn't make much sense. I was friday at Radmir and saturday at Panorama, and the quality was way higher in the latter. Better reception by girls too. Funny thing is that the cover is the same in both venues (100 hrv). Panorama has probably more expensive drinks but is located in the centre, so you save the taxi money.

How is Panorama for pick up? Is there a dance floor? Were you alone? I checked it once but it looked more like a lounge bar with social circles and we didn't stay.

This website posts photos from all the major clubs in Kharkov

http://www.78.com.ua/photos

Here's an old photo from Radmir that shows how, at times, the ratio of women-to-men can be ridiculous:
http://www.78.com.ua/photos/photo__3376-195823.html

Garzero, on weekdays, the higher-end clubs are sometimes not busy. I heard that Micto was closed last Wednesday and Bolero was kind of dead. Probably Plazma was likely much busier that night. On Friday and Saturday, Bolero/Micto/Panorama are at their peak.

Lika, I would describe Panorama as something like Banana club in Zaporizhia, but more upscale and unfortunately smaller. I agree with your observation, though this Saturday it was quite busy and there several groups of women at the bar waiting for guys to approach. Garzero wasn't alone, he was with me, although I wasn't much of a wingman, my gf was with us. We arrived late but I saw Garzero having some success before I left. Garzero, we'll have to try again, next time without my gf.

Really? Banana club is where I had the most fun in Ukraine but the dance floor is already quite small. Girls were incredibly open to me there, semi pros and regular girls alike. I loved the mixed sex bathroom with the huge mirror and sink and the porn movies showing, close to the mirror in the common area [Image: banana.gif]
I thought that panorama was much more stuck up...

Interesting, I remember I was there with you but it was too early I guess and we left. I didn't see a proper dance floor in there.

But this would become super-interesting if you guys detail a bit more about you (age & look for example)... your target (22yo student... 26yo bored office hamster... 28yo wife with Dmytro sleeping at home... 30yo divorced Viktorija...) ... and your spoken Russian/Ukranian skills...

Anyway, thanks for the info [Image: thumbup1.gif]!

Another epic night yesterday. Me and fellow forum member William Windsor went to Plazma. Place was crowded, lot of sausages, not all the girls were hot, but we were able to pull a skilled approach to two of the best girls on the spot and the night went on greatly. I made out with and fingered a 20yo solid 8, William worked on the other girl. Only problem was my girl didn't speak ONE word of english, and my russian is still too weak, so when I made the final move to push her in a taxi, she started to give directions to the driver to take her to HER home with me supposed to drop her there, paying for the ride and then heading home myself. Since I didn't have the possibility to discuss the thing due to the language barrier, I gave up and let her go home with the other girl. But what a night it was.
I confirm the idea that this city, in this very moment, as long as political and public order problems don't come up, is a great place to live in.
