If it's anything like Poland was this past Catholic Easter weekend, it'll be dead. Most girls will be with their families, and most venues will be closed or have reduced hours.

Late reply but for anyone going next spring: Romania has orthodox easter, so it's in May (at least it was this year), and not in March/April like in protestant and catholic countries.

That said, I don't think there are any weekends of the year where Bucharest is "dead" on a Friday and Saturday night. Just head to old town or one of the most popular clubs such as Nomad (my favorite in old town), Fratelli (upscale club that's good without having a table, in north part of the city) or Kulturhaus (cheap, students) and I almost guarantee it's packed after 1:00 or 1:30.

Regarding going end of June: I think it will be a pretty good time to go. Probably many students finishing their exams (just guessing here, I'm not sure about the exact time but when I was there late May/early June many students had exams), weather around 30 degrees, pool clubs should be relatively busy and less people go to the seaside compared to July and August.

I'll expand on the nightlife info if a few people are interested, the nightlife info in this thread is not very useful.

Hey Pornopung, I just read through your old thread when you and your mate were in Bucharest last year - and I appreciated your posts; some great info indeed. Funnily enough, your profile seems eerily similar to mine - I'm Aussie, 6'5, blonde, blue eyes, like to keep in shape. As a side note, my ancestry actually comes from Norway AFAIK. Anyway, heading to Bucharest this month - doing a week in Brasov first, then a week in the capital. I've already pipelined a couple through Tinder passport (by changing your location) and this seems to be reasonably active (I'm sure when girls see that I'm 12,500km away they may be reluctant to swipe, so it'll interesting if my results change when I'm on the ground).

I'll get to Bucharest June 23 - I'm hoping exams are dying down by then but even so, I've got an airbnb in the heart of old town and would happily day game around the universities - which all seem within walking distance.

How long were you actually in Bucharest for and what was your backstory like in regards to your reasons for being there? Do you think this is of high importance? eg. if I just rolled with the truth 'yeah just here for a week, seeing the sights and traveling through Europe' would that definitely work against me? How do you frame this? I know a couple local Romanians here in Oz who were willing to connect me with some of their cousins in the capital so this might be worth taking advantage of - like you say, to get into a social circle of sorts may be well worth your while. I suppose I could even go with a backstory of 'I'm here visiting some friends' which I guess would be at least partly true.

And for sure, any info you can post in regards to nightlife will be well appreciated! I'm certainly not keen on high end clubs with bottle service etc. though I'm sure I will check them out for the novelty. Sounds like Kulturhaus and Nomad are worth checking out. Happy to hit more low key venues where you know they might not be as cliquey and still with reasonable quantities of 7s and 8s. Also, seems like a good wine bar for dates is a must.

Pretty happy that Uber is now online too, that should come in quite handy.

Heading to Bucharest in 10 days now. Pipelining actively. One thing that really surprises me is that on IG nearly 80% of accounts are private. This is very unusual. What is it with closedness (is this even a word?)
How is Bucharest for daygame? Or all the girls are also walking in private mode and hard to open?

Daygame is good in Bucharest. Not as good in Kiev but you'll do fine Vinny-son.

I found Bucharest a tough nut to crack and suspect a good 3-4 weeks to make in roads - but of course anything is possible, but on the whole it's a dating culture. Foreigners I suspect are rarely touching the real quality - unless you're living there for a period of time and cracking social circles. I was only there for a week.. So yeah, I couldn't expect much. English levels are great though and I found Romanians very friendly and feminine to be around. Be interested to see how you go of course.

@Cambodian Creamsicle: that is good to hear as daygame is going to be my number 1 priority.

@Schlep: Sure I will try to pop few sheets as I go.

@Dirkus: This is going to be my 1 week reconnaissance trip to Romania. I am hearing repeatedly that you need more time to secure the bang, that is why I am taking my pipeline so seriously. Can not take any chances.

I will be for one more week in Bucharest. If anyone is around PM me

It's my first time here, the quality of women is high equal to Serbian women I would say,
but you must be a resident to get action. Not recommended for less than a month trips.

Definitely want to know about the LTR quality there? I like the look of the chicks.

You must invest a lot of time. The quality is here. There are so many women looking for LTR, it's insane. But they are very suspicious of foreigners, have a really good back up story. You will be asked almost always: Why Bucharest?
