What they don't realize is that they are throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and abandoning a lot of the qualities that women in general find attractive in black men.

In a strange way, they have a bit of a god complex, with the mindset being "man, I'm so much better than these other negros, I played the white script, these women should be crawling at my feet!". They are generally disappointed and angry to find that this is not the case. We can criticize black women all we want, but we have to look at what their options are. They can either lock down their bets provider with a good job that doesn't give them tingles (already been acknowledged heavily that WOMEN as a whole despise these types of men), OR, they can get the bad boy gangster type that fulfills their pre-Epiphany Phase desires. The amount of men that fulfill both are few and far between. There's only so many Denzel Washingtons, Idris Elbas and Serge Ibakas out there.

I don't see why a majority of black men who don't fit into that bad boy "gangster" mold feel like the script they have to follow is that of a white man. For black girls, especially the high quality ones that can have their pick of men, why would they want some pale (heh) imitation of a white man done by a beta black dude, when they can get the real thing if they so desire? On average, the types of white guys that go for black women are mad smooth, and will blow their black counterparts out of the water.

Have you met black people whom are actually from Africa or even the Caribbean? Your view seems severely limited to American black males. A lot of those "educated" types aren't American African men, and trust me back home they don't have to be gangsters.

Black American women have their issues and many of those have been outlined accurately in this thread, but white American women are absolutely NOT a panacea and/or problem-free refuge for black men. The black American male who fails to understand this is in for a rude awakening. So many of them are just looking for that "utopia" (or, to use an RVF colloquialism, "poosy paradise") to counter the difficulties they've dealt with in their own communities, but this does not exist (ESPECIALLY not in the white American woman). There are no easy pickings and no easy answers here.

How do Black American women compared to their African and West Indian counterparts? Never been to the US before, but the local females I spoke with in Ethiopia and the WI were pleasant most of the time. Maybe it's because there's a lack of feminism in those parts..?

Even as a white guy, black girls who claim up front that they only date white guys are usually one of the worst types to deal with. Usually very shallow and "opinionated", aka, spews a bunch of bullshit without having done any research or having any facts or statistics to support said position. Typically easy to bang though, if you can put up with their terrible personalities. The best black women are usually comfortable dating inside our outside their race (again, speaking as a white guy, my not hold true if you are not white)

I also just think black chicks STRONGLY prefer men of their own race whereas most men will get with a woman regardless of colour. I simply don't get many of the same reactions from black women that some of the non-white guys I know do. Don't get me wrong. A week later she managed to convince me to take her to Dallas. After taking her shopping all day, we got to the hotel, and she didn’t want to give it up. Perhaps she was thinking that I will beg for it… The mistake I made was I should have left her ass in Dallas
After getting back to OKC, I asked for all the stuff I bought for her. I ended up getting pepper sprayed, and she took off with my stuff too!
I am a black guy who have his shit together. I make ~$200k a year. First time dating a black girl in a very very long time. The ghettoest white chick will never have done this. I just think black girls are just CRAZIE and the educated ones are far too stuck up and ugly.
