Budapest is really good because Hungarian economy is on the rocks.Total failure.Nobody expected such decadence.In the ealy 00's used to be lot worse than CR due to lack of model looking women but now due to the advance of Czech economy is definitely better.And much cheaper.Balkan riders from Serbia,Bulgaria,Greece can do a lot of damage there.Budapest is the most Balkan friendly city in Central Europe.It is a failed state I think after a while it will incoproprate into our glorious neighbourhood.But then again what is superior than Austrohungary?

Budapest is a city that rocks in the summertime, there is alot to do. I find the city very attractive and it definetly has a charm about it, Hungarians on the whole have shown me some unbelievable hospitality.
I was very close to moving there with an ex, sadly that fell apart due to me.
The cost of the city is ridiculously cheap, it would make a great base of operations in Europe. The economy maybe bad now but that only means you can get good real estate cheap, things will turn around at some point.
I remember Prague was cheap not too long ago and now the prices of real estate are through the roof.
The downside is the women, but living there would give you a chance to roam the country to the smaller cities which I know have some gems to be found.
Plus if you got bored there, next door is Romania, Croatia and Slovakia.

Tinder seems to work pretty well.

my brother has lived in budapest for 2 years now and a lot of what you have said on here matches with what he has reported back to me. i've been out to see him a couple of times in the last 2 years but i am moving out there too in mid-august.

my brother's extra comments:

for 9s/10s a cool local guy actually has an advantage over a foreigner. in order to get this quality of girl consistently you need to build a network of high society / nightlife contacts and become one of the A crowd. This is what my brother and his mates are working on now.

-most girls in budapest will tell you they have a boyfriend. a lot of the time it just turns out to be a fuck buddy or even less. its seen as kind of embarrassing for them if they are single - so they nearly always say they have a boyfriend if you ask. best thing to do - don't ask. if it comes up, ignore up a few times only then explore the issue.

In the US, I had a Hungarian girlfriend (LTR) for about a year and a second who pursued me for years after a one-time bang (had a kid and wasn't super attracted to her). This may be off-topic but it relates to experience with Hungarian women and may be useful. Don't want to overly-generalize but some specific differences are worth considering.

The first girl I dated was late 20's (I was a few years older) - I'd say a 7 face and 8.5 body. She had gorgeous curves. Previously married no kids. Personality-wise, very intense and in your business if you let her. Quite intelligent and really enjoyed stimulating conversation, one of few women I've met who was well-read with thoughtful opinions. I was learning to assert myself to not get walked on but guilt trips (not spending enough time with her) were de rigueur with this one. She could cook really well (both of them, actually) and I'm not sure this is a national pasttime but cuisine seems a source of pride for Hungarians - with good reason. Very passionate lovers. Reflecting back, she seemed to have three personalities: intellectual, sex kitten and bitch - with a helping of chef.

Both were pretty good at subtle manipulation which prompted me to step up my game. They seem to thrive on drama (surprise) but also could respect authority. The analogy is of a golden retriever that thinks it's a doberman but turns into a chihuahua.

I did get tired of the mind-tripping from the first girl (who did have issues from a screwed up family, Mom especially) and broke up with her - twice. After the first break-up, she convinced me (against my better judgement) to give it another try - knowing I've ended every relationship and usually <3 months in. I let her know too much about me and yeah she used it against me. I finally ended it the 2nd time which resulted in the nastiest break-up talk ever. Don't stick your dick in crazy hadn't been ingrained yet (I've done once since). The 'sharing what's wrong with each other' started off amiable but she got meaner and meaner til I literally threw her out of my apartment. Lots of lessons learned. Don't given them an inch no matter how sweet they seem.

I also realize both of them having been on the carousel here for a while is really REALLY bad for a relationship-minded girl and these did seem to be. My take is they enjoy caring for a man and family, also a source of pride. The second girl had a child from her first marriage back in Hungary - I wanted no part of that - but was a solid woman in every other way; smart, caring and less mentally manipulative than the first.

Personally, I like the overall caring demeanor I've noticed from Hungarians. Somewhat limited experience but I'd say the few I've met were quite intellectually curious which I find attractive. The complaining aspect definitely seems universal but seems part of being European Thanks for the updates, SC. Intriguing to experience them in their natural habitat!

I think it depends on your tastes. Czech/Slovak women are taller, have bigger tits with classical model faces and blue/green eyes. There are some beautiful Hungarian women but the average is definitely lower if you have the aforementioned preference which I do. Having spent several weeks in Budapest last year, I don't recall ever seeing an 8+ in the street. The strong point of Hungarian women is their sex appeal and sluttiness.

That being said, Budapest shits on Prague as a city, so much so that I'd rather live there despite preferring Czech women. Budapest is stunning, cheap and has an energy/vibe that is unrivaled. Prague is an open-air museum. It's like people don't live there, it's only for tourists. SeanBateman called it "sterile" and that's an accurate description.

If you live in Budapest, you're only a day-trip away from fertile hunting grounds in Slovakia, Poland and CZ. And also, there are many women from those places and the FSU living in Budapest. It's a big regional hub.

I don't think there is any hype. Budapest is probably one of the most polarizing cities on the forum. I think the women are sexy in a strange way but looks-wise they don't hold a candle to the women in Czech, Poland or even Romania. I've done some day game in BP and found the local girls to be ridiculously sceptic, no matter how on it is or how much their eye spazz. The city feels like a town when it comes to girls.
