I am a big fan of putting stuff on my body, that I would be alright putting in my mouth.
Coconut oil and Olive oil are my go to all in one skin creams.
I shave my head bald, then apply coconut oil which is a great after shave treatment.
This is a surprisingly great lotion for the skin as it absorbs quite well, much better than Coconut oil.
I had to stop using it though for this reason....
Olive Oil has a fragrant smell... but... it is very sweet smelling to certain creatures.
I remember one-day during the summer I was being swarmed by bees and wasps, I didn't connect the dots till after a few minutes that they were swarming me because of the scent of the olive oil I used as a lotion that day.
I like Almond Oil as it absorbs well like Olive Oil but has a more neutral sent.

Anyone ever use the oil cleansing method?
If so which oils? How often? And what were your results?
I may get some skin grafting done to removing my acne scars once and for all in August. Will report back with results but would really appreaciate any advice on reputable plastic surgeons or dermatologic surgeons in the Greater Toronto Area.
It works.
Finding the right oil combo will depend on your skin though.
I've been off and on this method and have tried many oils -- Avacado, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Safflower Oil (the worst), Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil, Shea Butter Oil, etc.
Coconut oil (Make sure it is raw and virgin) is what I use currently as the base, I use it with Glycerin, I don't use a base oil like Castor (I used to, but I don't find it any different to add it)
Coconut oil does not absorb all that well, but it does a good job of actually deep cleaning and it is anti-bacterial so it actually does a good job of keeping your pores clean and not clogged to develop acne.
The only thing that gets annoying is the cloth gets dirty quick. I would get 5-7 face clothes you can rotate with to make sure you use a fresh one each day and toss the dirty ones in your laundry hamper. It sounds wasteful but I don't get the logic of using a dirty rag for the oil cleansing method, it should be fresh and clean to the best job.
Also, at the very end use cold as fuck water to close back up the pores. Use Witch Hazel or Rosewater to splash to seal up your skin, you should be good to go for the day after that. Give the face a good pat down. Bitches will start complementing your skin -- just tell them you use virgin tears to wash your face.
