GLL's infield daygame footage is off the chain

GLL please explain how is it a decent sized guy with a blue bandana, sunglasses on can come lurking out of the trees to approach a girl in LA without them getting startled one bit?

Also explain why your camera crew was not looked at, questioned? No who's that? Are you filming?

I'm not a hater but as Lothario said it seems like smoke and mirrors. I've been doing this shit since space invaders came out almost continuously and am a master of reading body language. When you walk out of the trees or up to someone minding their own they are a little taken back.

Mech, he did respond to this and said that there was some kind of eye contact or something that he made with some of these girls before he approached that didn't get caught on camera.

Chris- listen to what we are posting here..

I think it will make your next video much better.

Here's the thing about Chris. He's really into helping guys with major insecurities. He is far more patient than I (or most of us) would be.

He has a whole program about overcoming approach anxiety. In one part of the course, he just tells guys to go to the mall, see a cute girl, and walk near her and say nothing.

This video isn't about running what most of us would consider game.

It's about helping guys with major anxiety issues overcome those issues.

We take it for granted, but a lot of guys are afraid to even say "hi" to a girl. A rejection messes with their heads.

So he's trying to show a way for guys to not get rejected.

- I'm not in LA or in the trees. I don't think you've hit on many girls before -- you make eye contact and smile ahead of time.

- they are 50 yards away, at least. Did you watch the video? The girl at the end sees the camear

GLL/Chris has put out a lot of good material. Definitely his AA program is unique in that it is a step by step method to reducing it instead of entreaties to "be confident." There are also other good concepts.

I think one thing people are confusing here is "bad game" vs. staged reactions. Two totally separate issues. Of course it's bad game, but that was his intent. This is "nervous guy game." The point is to deliberately dumb his game down to super basic level so guys can potentially learn from it. The caveat to this is that he is already good at game, so he will sub-communicate that he's good at it even though his words are technically "nervous."

Anyway, I'm convinced that none of this stuff is really helpful for learning daygame. You can watch a 100 videos and it won't help the vast majority of people no matter who does the video. I believe what happens is that by seeing videos such as this, you think to yourself "I can do it" but it somehow gets translated in your head to "I did that," and you will not take action. Your brain is satiated on a vicarious experience. If guys want to learn, go try it yourself and record it, even if just audio. Audio is a lot easier to do than video. Then post up the interaction.

That being said, I watched the video with the blonde girl and it seemed staged to me as well. The conversation and her body language simply did not ring true to me. It was like bad acting. I really don't know what to make of it.

I got a question for you Chris.

You claimed to be filming from 100+ yards away yet at 8:40 you talk to the cameraman like he's right next to you. Seems like the cameraman was much closer to you filming the entire time than it was originally stated.

"CMQ seems not to have the energy to waste on splaining"

^You're right, but that doesn't change my opinion.

The GLL video is fake as fuck.

If you can't see that, or you are a sheep who's allowing the wool to be pulled over your eyes, I'm sorry.

I have nothing against GLL and to be honest, I really don't care, but I will call it how I see it.

Lastly, it's pretty telling that 99.9% of the members defending it I've never heard of, they have extremely low post counts and basically zero reps.

Not to mention the OP's post is suspect as hell.

Carry on.

A little known fact about me: I've starred in multiple indie films, some having played at Sundance, released in theaters and on Netflix. I know acting, sets and real vs. fake when it comes to on-camera work.

^If you want to start something Chris, make sure you can finish it.

First off, if you check that green number next to my name, those are called rep points.

Secondly, if you click on it, it tells who has met me in REAL LIFE.

Thirdly, there's over 30 people who have met me in real life and vouch for me and what I do.

Fourthly, your little article hasn't affected my audience. Why? Because they're smarter than penis pumps and steroids.

Cater to your 'bro' crowd and I'll take care of the real playboys crowd.

Lastly, just because you like showing pictures of your penis on your site to other men, doesn't mean that others feel the need to reveal their face. Great content = great content and I deliver great content.

Cheerio.

Good job on the rep points, I only have like 7 of them

maybe you should write an ebook on that

On a serious note, notice how the smoking blonde at the beginning was the nicest girl despite her looks. (besides the lady at the end).

He even got her to stop walking by without her looking at the camera a few times and slowing down. [Image: lol.gif]

I believe it's staged to some degree, but despite that his opener is very good and inexperienced guys could make use of it to get experience approaching, which I think is one of the intentions of the video.

None the less, there is much to learn from this video and many of his others.

I think the reason a lot of these types of videos comes off as fake is because completely sober first introductions between men and women are so canned and fake anyways, especially when the woman is attracted to the guy who opened her (i.e. she gives a shit what he thinks about her).

She gets self-conscious and is meanwhile repeating the same one-liners and stories she's used in countless conversations with other people. This is just how people communicate until they get to know each other a bit. We talk in patterns and use our scripted jokes and stories, etc, cutting them up and adjusting them to improvise and mold to the conversation at hand. We avoid saying anything too controversial or negative in an effort to put ourselves in the best light possible.

But when you're up close and in the middle of the interaction you're thinking about yourself too much, and about what's immediately going on, to pay attention to how canned interactions with people you don't know really are. A video steps back and you see it from afar and suddenly it's obvious just how cheesy it all is, and since you're not emotionally involved in the incident, you're analyzing it solely from an intellectual level. So in a video of a genuine interaction, everyone essentially looks like a dork.

That same self-consciousness is what keeps a woman from showing too much physical agitation when a big guy approaches her in a somewhat aggressive manner - she doesn't want to overreact and look like a fool. I imagine muggers use this psychological mechanism to their advantage quite often.

GLL has also always come across to me as a bit of an oafish guy - even slow-witted (I know he does that on purpose, so no offense) and awkward - who sort of grows on people (women) the more he talks, and his approaches always come off as a bit goofy to me. But they work, and that's what matters in the end. I like how he owns his conversational pace and never seems embarrassed or apologetic of anything that comes out of his mouth, no matter how lame it ends up sounding.

From a distance, it looks to me like a lot of girls are a bit unsure about him at first, but the longer they sit there trying to figure him out, the more they pick up on his confidence and get really curious about him. He's a decent-looking guy, and that certainly helps, but his frame is what wins them over.

Just my take. I enjoyed the vids, Chris - good stuff, as usual.

Here's a guy supposedly getting numbers without talking.. probably fake.

I actually have a friend who says he does this kind of shit with girls in the subway who are checking him out. He said one time he just went and put his phone in her lap and she put her number in it.

100% real.

I've recorded my own day game park approaches. These look & feel too familiar to my own videos for these to be fake.

Until you've recorded yourself doing daygame, it's impossible for you to know what it actually looks like from the outside.

GLL's post about having watched daygame pickup videos, originally thinking they were fake, then recording it himself, and then believing almost everything online was real, is my experience too.

Also. It's easy to sit here and play armchair game critic. When you're doing this shit live, with a camera rolling, dumb shit is going to come out of your mouth. If someone critiquing here has better day game skills than GLL, I'd love to see the video.

I'm not saying GLL has the best game. Far from it. But bro is putting in work, and I respect that.

That one is probably fake. In that one group of black chicks, one of them said "do you know this guy?", so they obviously didn't know him, but that too could be staged. I'm willing to bet 98% of the numbers he received were fake though.

These guys seem legit.
