GLL's infield daygame footage is off the chain

From a purely technical standpoint the video footage is of such high-quality, (to me anyway) it exudes a rather slick vibe, kind of a veneer of surreal to the whole thing. In my humble opinion, I think that has to do with where the feeling of "fakeness" is coming from.

The question I'm asking is which makes more sense: coach a whole bunch of girls on what to say, how to react, try to stage interactions with them, try to pull the wool over everyone's eyes, (including the really sophisticated guys here) and hope it won't ruin anyone's credibility- or just be an extremely decent looking guy, go up to a bunch of girls and film it.

I'm only over here commenting on it because I like you guys.

I've been dealing with this for 3 years now.

Last summer I went to Vegas and pulled 4 girls up to my room in 3 days. Each one of them on video (a shitty-quality video, lighter cam/camera fone, pixelated as hell). Youtube search: 'Good Looking Loser Vegas' To my knowledge, it's the only legit footage of taking girls to a hotel room on the whole internet.

People accused me of hiring prostitutes and that the videos were fake.

Same old story.

I've been in/around the PUA community since 2006ish and was told by a certain authority (one of the mega-popular ones) that all the videos on YouTube of guys picking up girls were fake.

He swore to it.

They look staged and there's a million and one reasons where that can be pointed out and assume. That was one of the many reasons I "didn't believe in" shooting them professionally - I simply couldn't believe that it could be done.

After shooting these and seeing the footage 2 weeks later, our footage looked exactly like what I had watched through the years and assumed to be staged.

Especially the ones in the morning before the park got busy.

It's made me rethink all the stuff I've seen, a lot of it may well be real.

I can't not post certain interactions (especially the good ones) because some people will doubt their authenticity or because the camera angle doesn't show the entire walkup and/or me making eye contact and the girl smiling back.

I don't think you guys understand how hard these are to tape (with professional footage)

There's a lot going on that isn't seen.

I have non-verbal with just about all of these girls before I talk to them. Sometimes it's seen, sometimes not. The ones that "are surprisingly nice" to me -- there was probably some non-verbal. (smile, wink, etc.)

The girl who is studying and seemingly ignoring me the entire time, then randomly "flips" and likes me. The entire time she was giggling and smiling - that isn't seen on camera (which is 70-80 yards away, 300mg lens).

The advantage and disadvantage to doing videos is - people make assumptions. People assume that I got solid numbers from 8 different girls over 10 tries. In reality, only 3 of the girls did I ever hear from again. Even #2 gave me a fake number and/or won't answer my texts (I did wait about 5 days to text her though).

As for the legality of publishing video/audio without consent, here is my video on it, it's perfectly legal when it remains in the public domain.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiso8FRi7WU

The one face that is blurred is of a 5 or 6 year old girl.

And Jesus Christ- if I hired 10 actresses, you'd think they would do a better job and make me look better.

In the next video I'll show our camera setup. I'll be a football field away from the camera and we'll demo that.

Man big up to yourself for defending yourself in a respectful manner! I truly think that I wouldn't have handled the criticism with the same maturity that you did. I must say that I don't really like the way you're teaching game with this nervous guy game concept, but I understand it.

Without spilling your load for free, how do you tell your clients to ante up sexually after they got the contact info without qualifying them to a certain extent? I might be missing something here, but is seems the sexual intent just ain't there from this shy framing

Whatever we can still use it to critique what to do or not do. Some of things seemed a little staged.

That said it doesn't seem scripted and Chris never talked about having experience acting or doing any improv.

He doesn't really have all that good game in those videos etc for his presence, which is confident.

I was thinking the same thing that he dressed like an early 1990s la gang.

Does he really have that good directorial skills to tell the girl to cross her legs away from him?

What costs more- hiring actors or getting lots of footage with random people on the street.

Maybe I need I look at the vids again, but jury is still out for me.

Doesn't matter for our purposes here, anyway.
I could look a scripte Hollywood movie scene like those and still point out the good or ba game.

People on this thread are making big accusations.

The burden of proof is on you guys to show how this video is fake.

I personally find GLL and his site to be of solid value. It would be a big surprise if this video was shown to be staged.

The Nervous Guy approach is literally for the least experienced guys. It's not to "Get laid". It's simply to show them that most women are open to talk to them and will be friendly. That alone is the beginning of the end of their Approach Anxiety. Any results (phone numbers, dates, etc.) is just icing on the cake.

Check out our other stuff on 'screening' for how I thing guys should approach girls if they want to do them.

I'm not sure I understand your question though... If you are talking about what I think you are talking about:

A little [assertiveness] goes a long way, every girl I talked to in these videos (And the interactions not posted) realized I was interested in them simply because I gave them a direct compliment. There's no friend-zone potential whatsoever... especially because of the way I look and the fact that I'm not boyfriend material.

but if a guy wants to ante it up sexually, as you describe -
- touch the girl during the interaction
- text her "hey sexy"

Chris did do porn, if I'm not mistaken. That blonde at 10:00 sure dressed like a porn star. Definitely raises suspicions but right now I'm undecided.

GLL's infield daygame footage is off the chain

This video has literally disturbed my sleep as I've tried to reconcile the cognitive dissonance caused by two seemingly mutually exclusive facts:

1) Chris has a reputation for being legit. The risk of tarnishing that for the negligible benefit of a number-farming video is insane.
2) The video is fake as shit in every way imaginable.

It's hurt my head more than a Johnny Berba infield. I think I now understand what's going on. Immediately upon viewing the video I was 100% sure it's fake. Now I'm genuinely on the fence. What are the facts of the video as I see them?

- Chris spouts appallingly bad game. To the extent that every Maybe Girl becomes a No, and most Yes Girls would also become No. Presumably these are the sets that somehow resisted his bad game and remained Maybes.
- The girls show zero emotional engagement, like they are simulacra / alien imposters playing dress-up as humans.
- The conversations are like C3PO talking to R2D2.
- There's not a single natural feminine reaction in the video.
- Girls are incredibly open, compliant and hand out numbers easily.
- Chris is a very good-looking guy and the girls are cute but unremarkable (i.e. clearly below him in looks)
- Ultimately it's just number farming. Nothing more compliant.

So I first thought he'd just got a bunch of girls he was already friends with to stand in to make it easy to shoot a textbook teachable video....

And then I realised the obvious: this is the USA. It's a completely broken country. The women COULD be like this, and COULD respond to this GLGG because the whole male-female dynamic is fucked. It's Jersey Shore without the booze. Those women aren't bad actresses playing a porno script, they really are that lacking in emotional development. Chris isn't really a fraud reading a script, he's just a very good looking guy who knows his mere existence is enough to collect numbers from such women.

I was judging the video by Euro standards. It couldn't possibly be legit in Belgrade/Riga/Prague/Paris. Girls are different, men are different, the whole cultural norms are different. I've literally never seen one interaction like that result in a number here, much less ten in one day. Even my friends who could pull entirely on looks (Jabba, Lee), the girls show some sexual tension and excitement - not emotionless uncanny-valley behaviour.

That sounds like I'm replacing my accusation of "fraud" with a new one of "bad game". I think it's more like I'm replacing it with "I guess that's the game you have to play on those girls in that environment". I'd appreciate any experienced US daygamers chiming in with their thoughts.

For now, that's the best explanation I can come up with. I think I jumped the gun in calling Chris a fraud. I'm on the fence.

Krauser - this is all just low-risk numbers game on camera.

I'm asking girls that already like me for their numbers. Some give me fake numbers, some real - just like it is when the camera is off.
I'm totally polite and flattering - so they will be too and likely give me their numbers, real or fake.

Some of these girls (the ones that are walking, especially) I'm watching and planting myself in the area to approach them. That is the only way to do this when they are moving without driving my camera guy nuts. In that regard, I'm "staging" our encounter. I know the girl is heading to her car and I'm going to catch her before she hops in. (in "real life" I would probably just walk up to her and not creep around)

Maybe you are right about the USA- I don't know since I can't compare it to the EU, etc. Despite my appearance, I'm pretty intelligent (no, really) and purposely dumb myself down when talking to most girls. They are superficial as can be - as am I (for the girls I sleep with, not relationships)

This is not "my game", I think you know that.

This is just meant to give guys a '~rejection-proof' way to talk to girls --- it's not a "get laid" "aggressive" or flashy highlight film. It's non-sexual, boring and predictable... and totally the way beginners should start, in my opinion.

That is the entire point, seriously - there's no point in analyzing the 'game' because there isn't any. [Image: smile.gif]

>> one part I disagree with you on is that there's 'no feminine reactions'. A lot of these chicks are playing with their hair and smiling at me. They actually like me. Anyway, I can confirm this since I've seen some of the girls again - you'll just have to take my word on it.

btw- Berba in-field is great - take notes. I just found it yesterday

Okay, I've only watched the first pickup. My impression is that is was NOT fake. Nothing about it felt acted. Unless Chris is an extremely good actor at coming off as nervous with weak ramble game because his conversation was very unimpressive. If his point was to show how easy it is to do this, why would he have the girl act so fucking weird? Why wouldn't he have had her give a number and seem normal?

I've been looking at GLL's stuff for a couple months now and I think he's got some of the most solid shit out there. Any guy that will post a before and after pic of his flaccid dick has nothing to hide.

Some of the scenes I'm irritated, yes. It's because we lost audio a couple of times and therefore lost some good interactions. This video should be 13 interactions long. Later I'm annoyed because I stepped in goose shit.

It's not "us guys." I pointed out that the chick who called you a player crosses her legs away from you when you sit down at the bench next to you.

Btw what happened with her? Why did you ask her all that stuff about what she was doing that night?

If I were you I would have elicited her to ask me more questions.. Read my breakdown.

It's great, the whole time she looking at you and probably thinking "who the fuck is this guy"? You are like a mastermind controlling her attention.

I think this thread is going to be great.. It's become a meeting place for the top guys who are making money off of pickup.

GLL's infield daygame footage is off the chain

I think the "fakeness" feel of the video can be explained by one major factor. GLL was using what we would generally consider to be bad game. It's novice game intended for beginners, so it doesn't seem like he should be getting much traction with it, which makes it seem fake. But despite the newbie game, he's getting decent rapport from these girls. So must be fake, right?

Well, not necessarily. I would chalk this up to the fact that GLL is good looking and has physical size. Speaking as a fellow good looking guy with size, I can vouch for it giving you a lot of latitude with girls you approach right off the bat. If the looks don't intrigue her, the size will buy her temporary compliance and a little bit of fear. Most girls will go along with an approach from a guy with looks and size unless the game being spouted is truly atrocious. I'm not denying the power of game here, by any means, I'm just pointing out that size + looks is a massive advantage for cold approaching, since even girls who aren't interested usually won't have the nerve or the balls to blow you out and would rather just give up their number after chatting for a few minutes then ignore your texts.

This is just one of the many benefits lifting adds to your game: there's something deep in the female ape brain that makes her respect larger males. So simply by virtue of being bigger and stronger than most guys, she will unconsciously give you more respect, which we see in this video translating into more patience and compliance with GLL's unsophisticated beginner game. You can clearly see this in the body language of the first and the last girl in the video, who recoil a little as GLL gets near them. They are slightly threatened by him. We know small amounts of fear create attraction in women, then factor in a bonus for looks, the general deer in headlights behavior and the proclivity for women to be led by a man. So they just go along with the approach. Then also look at the girl in pink sitting on the bench, the hottest in the video (besides maybe the runner). She's clearly not feeling GLL's beginner game but still doesn't blow him out. She'd rather put up with a few minutes of awkwardness than risk angering a 200+ lb. stranger sitting right next to her. Size = fear = respect = compliance.

So I will give GLL the benefit of the doubt here and assume it's not fake. However, the flipside of the coin is that this video is basically useless as a game demonstration for most guys. A guy trying to run that same "nervous newbie" style game who was 5'7" 150 lbs. with an average face would get blown out over and over and probably get campus security called on him within half an hour.

^^ Yes that is the point. It's a "bare minimum" approach for guys with AA.

It's meant to show guys that girls will be nice to them if they admit they are nervous (or something like that).

It's not a "how to get girls in your bed in 26 minutes" approach. It's purposely non-aggressive and strictly for new guys. It can pay dividends though, some girls will be interested

Yeah, well the guy's blog is called GOOD LOOKING Loser for a reason.

It's all predicated on building a huge hit of attraction with your presence.

If Brad Pitt approached any of these girls, he could be drooling yellow diarrhea out the side of his mouth and they'd probably still hang around and giggle because he's got massive amounts of attract worn on the sleeve.

You have got to remember, American girls are trash. Even if the girls were acting, they weren't acting too far off of what a typical Cali broad is actually like.

There is a reason people leave America just to get better women elsewhere. Believe me when I tell you, the damn near entire continent of North America has shitty women like this. It is something else.

That girl is the only one that [I think that] I "won over".
as I mention in further detail here-
http://www.goodlookingloser.com/entry/in...s-guy-game

I didn't notice in-person or on the video how she crosses her legs away from me. I don't notice these things, so any explanation/guess comes in hindsight.

I barged right in on her, no-eyecontact/smile/wink/etc. - so I would think she'd be cautious and hence - move away from me.

Again, these interactions are super basic, super boring, not flashy and meant for guys with anxiety to get comfortably in and out in about 3-5minutes. The plan is to introduce myself, kick some small talk and leave. There's no intention on my end to "game" her, get her to ask me questions or anything.

In fact, the entire 'you're a player.. you're a player' thing isn't actually something I wanted on video or that will happen to 99% of guys doing this
Nervous Guy approach. Guys are always scared about being called-out on that for some reason. But I participated in the back-and-forth with her because it was legitimately funny to me (she's 19) and I know how to handle this stuff since it sometimes happens (not on approaches) to me from girls that are looking for boyfriends but like me.

I think I decided to leave because her friends (study group) were walking toward the table. Other kids with textbooks. That's probably who she is looking around for in the video. But I honestly don't know. Until I saw the footage, the only thing I remember about the interaction was the 'player' thing.

I texted her on Memorial Day and she extended me the invite to the BBQ that she was talking about. So the # was real. I never replied (or I might have with something brief). i'll look at my phone if you want me to. But I had no urge to go to these memorial day parties or anything. There was a couple of other really solid numbers that I wanted to follow up on.

Oh if that's honestly what this is about then - yeah, you don't need "game" with girls that are equal or less 'good looking' as you. Sometimes not with girls that are better looking than you -- if you seem "cooler" than they are and wreak confidence

any of you guys ---

walk up to a fat girl.
tell her you are nervous but thought she was cute.
ask her "death questions" (who, what, where, when, etc.) aka small talk

She'll be into you the entire time and want to brag to her friends about you.

That's how "normal" guys get laid.

Me too - I'm still on 'it's largely staged' side of the coin. And when Krauser, McQueen, El Mech's and WIA's BS radars are going off I think people should pay attention.

His intro at the beginning is good though, and he clearly wants to help improve his students which is nice to see. In fact, I was pumped up to see the content after the introduction. He also controls the frame bc of his overall confidence, size etc. and he keeps the conversation going at all times. But it takes two to tango and wtf is it with those girls just basically obeying him, sitting there answering question after question and/or not having their iphones go off or getting an sms or something during the convo? I can understand them being intrigued a bit but it strains credibility IMO.

Krauser's views are spot on, and American girls aren't that completely different from every other girl on the planet. Everything's a little too perfect so to me it really seems like porno actors who were asked to partake in a 'day game' video. Or he got a bunch of girls he knew to help out and make an instructional video. In some ways that's ok but should be mentioned upfront and not pawned off as if it's real. Furthermore, the title and intro post from monster really reads like a promo to me but that's another issue.

Maybe I'm wrong, but first impressions and instinct are pretty telling most of the time. Seems like GLL is a respected instructor (for the record I have not seen his stuff before) so the 'teaching pros' are going to naturally be more reticent to call him out, but would be nice to get to the bottom of this and so far the answers put out there aren't all that convincing.

GLL's infield daygame footage is off the chain

I can see why some guys on here would think this is fake because it is really stripped down game (by design) from the perspective of most of the posters on here if they aren't familiar with Chris's website and videos. But honestly a lot of the stuff he puts out is spot on. If you maximize your looks, get rid of your anxiety, and are generally a cool guy and can play the numbers game, you are going to have plenty of options if you are living in an urban American city. I actually tried some of his stuff out in Costa Rica and got good responses the grand majority of the time (sample size ~150 approaches), so a lot of this can apply outside Southern California.

The bottom line is that Chris's material might not make the most sense for everyone on here, but before jumping to conclusions about his stuff being fake, maybe try it yourself first or at least recognize that his "target market" so to speak, won't fit exactly with everyone here. Also, gll puts out a ton of free content and it seems like the site has helped a ton of guys with inspirational and easy-to-digest-and-implement content, which is what really counts in the end right?

Chris I hear what you are saying, but those "death" questions might have gotten you blown out on that little fat chick in the beginning.

I actually think that looking the way you do and approaching girls like that could be a liability to the bang and possibly legally in certain white knight areas.

Big dude dressed like a gangbanger asking that girl all those questions before she's even asked you any personal questions (three is usually good) and you have good chance of scaring the cat.

If you want to show that your method could work for the "Everyman" why not get some guys who don't look pumped and who are actually really nervous and maybe have trouble talking to girls to do your approach on camera?

To me it doesn't matter if what you are doing is fake or not so long as it works. Guys here can go try it out for themselves and report back, but you'd probably win over more fans if you could show other guys doing it.. Guys who aren't "good looking".

GLL's infield daygame footage is off the chain

Post # 7 of this thread (I will get to six responses before me)I was the first one to call this video by GLL a staged one and still would call it the same, same, same, same....... Put me in an electric chair still staged.

I would not bother me if GLL would have presented the video as a teaching tool for new players and what needs to be done during the day to game girls and promote the video as such. what upsets me is the fact that this video trying to pull wool over our eyes and wanting us to believe that this is real, give me a break.

Soup I'm going to call you out very respectfully, makes me wonder have you ever done day game at all ? you were the first one to agree and amplify the video and then when people started calling it fake you are trying to go back with a wishy washy stance, either stick with your guns or admit it that you were wrong, In your same post you are agreeing, denying and saying jury is still out. which one is it ?

I'm even more bothered by other high repped members also agreeing this video isn't staged, makes me wonder ???????????? Players who have done a lick of day game (over a 100 Approaches) can tell and this makes me wonder if a lot of highly repped members are key board jockeys ?

Krauser: your Initial thought was right, I highly regard your game mate, The fact you caught yourself in dichotomy might have to do with not knowing US chicks but believe me as others have said and they are no different then EE girls. you are saying something is off and this kinda reaction from girls wouldn't happen during day time in Europe and it doesn't happen in USA either.

el-mech is on a high warning level and doesn't want to partake, seems like CMQ seems not to have the energy to waste on splaining..., I usually don't argue but please don't try to pull wool over my eyes, I take it as an Insult.

Lets call this a video a teaching tool for new players, nuff said.

Lothario chill out. I still stand by my posts. Read what I wrote. I said it doesn't matter if it's fake or real, because you can still critique it from a game perspective either way. Guys can go out and try this stuff to see if it works.

That said, my following posts to him aren't questioning if it's real or not. I said "maybe" it's fake.

I was questioning his game in the vid, like I did in my original post.

I also made suggestions that he get average looking guys to try out his nervous guy game.

You questioning my day game doesn't matter because anyone reading this can go back through thousands of posts I've made here, many of them outlining my experiences with day game while detailing and how they lead to bangs. My latest bang was a hippy chick I met in the park. She came up to me actually, and I invited her to my show later that night.

Go read the players lounge I started. Goldmund just posted in there about he used a line I improvised a couple of years ago on a polish during the day in the subway lead to him snagging his favorite girl.
