Single man being invited by attractive married friend to go with her and friends?

If her husband is a beta schlub, as you say, perhaps she's asked you to come along for flirty validation.

I think you know this but if they ask you to do something with them, your ratio of "no" answers to "yes" answers should be high. Pick wisely.

@C-Note and Kaotic
There's a spring break in Vegas chick inside of every woman. (A useful fiction I tell myself)
But you just need the right stimulus.
Like a players version of the Stanford Prison experiment.
It's Friday!

So, you think these women are just going to pass you around? They see you as zero threat.

Wife and the husband are not having sex and arguing. Wife is getting high blood pressure from work and family.
She asked me if I was going to try and "hook up" with any one when we go on the trip.
I did not respond to her question. I told her to try and exercise or find things to help her relax.
Since I never wrote this before. We are going in December.

You've got three months of drama and a broken marriage to put up with for the payoff of getting friendzoned by a group of over the hill 6s? Jesus man. I mean, good luck and everything but...kill me now.

My initial thought was that the OP should flip the script.
It's a cruise so options are a little more limited, but if one were to bother going at all then then one might consider this.
Flaking on them throughout the cruise while hitting on other women in their peripheral vision could work their blood up a bit. You'd have the perfect excuse to be in their vicinity while ignoring them, since you're on a frigging cruise.
Infer after day two that you've slept with someone on the boat even if you haven't. Then when the opportunity presents itself you separate the thirstiest one of these gals from the herd and build the idea that the two of you should engage in some sort tryst that you both should keep a secret of from other chicks (ie build
perceived SMV and then create an idea that she can get your notch without being seen as a slut by her friends). Meanwhile if the plan didn't yield results you could still just game other women on the boat.
That said, I have no idea what running game on a cruise ship is like. My best guess is that those events are mostly filled with seniors so pickings might be slim.
P.S. Props as usual to WIA. It seems like that son of a bitch plays the game on hard mode just for the fun of it (or maybe to keep his shit wired tight).

A weekend cruise? a 3 hour cruise? What the fuck once again.
Why on earth are you agreeing to this? Unless the ship docks somewhere good on each night and you can go to Amsterdam, London, Paris, or some other Euro town with plenty of hot women each night, egad, this sounds like a nightmare, you are trapped on a ship with a lot of really old women.

^Agreed. Without details this could be a slow boat to hell. I assumed that since the women mentioned were likely looking to hook up with other passengers that there had to be some meat at the table in general.

Firstly, agreed with many others, going out with the girls is not all it's cracked up to be. The one certain benefit will be social proof or pre-selection (to other chicks).
Also, I had a very brief 'fling' with a married woman recently. I say fling, it was more like one afternoon of drinks, a bit of kissing and her hounding me on social media.
In this limited experience, and similar to that of others I know, it's genuinely more hassle than it's worth. This woman in particular was waving all the normal red flags which is why I aborted before it was too late:
-Excessive messaging owing to being a bored, kept housewife, expecting replies 24/7
-Limited social circle and life
-Husband 'didn't fck her right any more'
-Young son
-Almost complete disregard for fallout on to family
-Very liberal upbringing, resulting entitled behaviour and parents pretty much in an open relationship from day one
-Avoiding commitment to sex
-Still messages me to this day, even though I ignore her
Long story short, why invite potential hassle in to your life when there are single women everywhere. Sure, there's a bit of a buzz because of the sordid nature of the thing, but that soon wears off if they become needy and/or you have even an ounce of moral fibre. Equally, another guy I know had seven shades of sh!t kicked out of him (by three guys) when the husband found out.
It's certainly true that now I have other valid options again, the above situation seems a ridiculous consideration.
