That could be a good trailer for the next Hollywood hit.

Thanks man. Your comment made changed my lousy day.

It was a joke, I was looking for a place for a piece of music, and voila!
I was laughing pretty hard, especially when it fades out and he says he can't wrestle with his dog for a toy. pffffft.

I knew he wouldn't respond to Snowplows reaching out. This guy is getting rewarded ( dopamine hits) from Youtubers paying attention to him. I felt he was disingenuous when he says in this vid that he needs $200 000, 'but that'll never happen". Ok, he's basically asking for that cash. He's like a woman.

For him to actually change? I'd tear him away from his mother. She would object since this is a major co-dependent relationship, albeit totally dysfunctional. So, while living alone, and dealing with the separation anxiety, he'd need a constant life coach ( or something like this ) to stop him from sliding back into his learned helplessness.
He'd need to sleep a lot, since the massive abrupt changes would be exhausting. Retraining both the brain And body abruptly, while tearing away from the mother...that's a load and a half for anyone, no matter how tough. No wonder people rarely change.

I don't mean to be cruel here, but I think the only hope for this guy is if his mother passed away. Then he'd be truly and totally alone, and would be in so much pain he'd be forced to reach out, and this is when the change would be possible.

Its not gonna happen. He hasn't responded to my latest emails. He said he didn't want to waste my time. I hope one day it clicks for him and he reaches out to me. As much as I can dislike our society and what has been created, I always like helping people turn their lives around.

You're a good man and good on you for reaching out to him.

Thank you for doing this. I'm coming to the realization that the thing I honestly get the most satisfaction out of in life is helping people. As futile as it may seem at times, it still warms me. Your effort has been an inspiration. So maybe you might not be able to help him in the end (I'm hoping he changes his mind), but you've helped me with some starting direction in my life. Thanks again.

CasketKing00 did a podcast on Elliot Rodger! (Also, he has a podcast?) Too bad the other guy does most of the talking.
I listened to it over breakfast so you don't have to. Really, don't.

0-15:00 Some WoW sleuthing, seeking the user who Rodger told about his plan, found his friend list.
CK's contribution: "That's fucking crazy man.. holy shit dude."
"If you go down the rabbit hole, you gotta bring your own carrots."
16:30 CK responds to queries, denies that he agrees with Rodger despite having been "in the friend zone so many times and whatnot."
"The fact that some of [Rodger's youtube commenters] have pony icons makes me die a little inside."
18-21:15 Mental health and guns concerns. Claim: Rodger got Asperger's from a flu shot as a kid. "This is really common."
22:00 Slenderman stabbings. "Three girls doing a slumber party-" "That's hot." "They were twelve." "Nevermind."
24:00 "The knife missed her heart by a kilometer." [Image: lol.gif]
This part gets really painful to listen to because of the other guy's idiotic interjections.
28:00 Great, two adult losers lecturing on responsible parenting and the need to explain to kids the difference between fantasy and reality.
For a second time, the one guy fantasizes about sending the victim chocolates.
36:00 Explains Creepypasta: "This isn't a scary Italian dish," thinks this is a very funny joke.
39:00 Whining about how Rodger's dad's wealth influenced police. "He's got a solid gold brick for a pillow, why would he go and fucking shoot and run over people?'

Why did I endure this? I expected more omega moping and emoting from CK, and maybe a reference to this thread. As it turns out, he is horrible as a podcast host. Literally all he does is read a sentence or two from a news article and wait for the other guy to respond. His partner keeps trying to get something colorful out of him, which only results in stretches of dead air. Whoever "Crusty loves" is, he is relatively normal and functioning compared to CK. My advice to the host is to get drunk for future podcasts.

While half of me leans toward revulsion and schadenfreude, the prevailing half of me is the one that recognizes the rut this guy's in. I've never been so low as to stuff my face full of a jar of mayo on YouTube, but I've had the same void of self-respect. I've had my own dark night of the soul.

I know what it is to have an unchallenging, indulgent parent. I know what it is to watch the hope and promise of academia vanish like a mirage into heatshimmer. I know what it's like to retreat from the mirror and into the monitor. I know what it's like to surrender to the comforts of gluttony and insobriety. I know what it's like to never see the beauty of the horizon, only the distance. I certainly know what it is to debase yourself - to set someone else's amusement (especially a woman's) above your own dignity.

But I also know what it's like to, from that lowest deep, reclaim yourself.

I say this in honest invitation to CasketKing and anyone else trapped in the myopia of despair: the company of strong, confident, challenging male peers is a bonfire of inspiration. It effects change. Ambitions you have long dismissed as childish delusions will come back upon you with a fury, and that fury will push you toward the strength to pursue them. Ideals you once disdained out of your own failure to live up to them suddenly, furiously brand themselves upon your character. Challenges that once cowed you with their scale and difficulty become proving grounds.

It can happen. I went through that change - with the aid, wisdom, and encouragement of men who showed me, by word or example, that all it takes, all it really takes, is a shift in thinking.

Don't shy from the ranks of your fellow men. Don't task a pantheon of animated unicorns and pegasi to mentor you in life. Don't cower from challenge - especially the vital, ongoing challenge of improving yourself. There is no man as invisible as the man untested.

Yes, it seems like a fantasy when you're as low as I was and as CasketKing is. Even at your most optimistic, it dampens your spirits to understand that this is not a journey that can begin today and end tomorrow. You imagine years of toil and discipline, experimentation and rejection. "Years," you think to yourself, and even your mind's voice quavers. "Even if I start today and go all out, it'll take me years."

Good. You want and need those years.

Steel is forged in fire. Welcome the flames.

Not all dudes can be saved. Dudes gotta be willing to meet us halfway. Last weekend in a bar I was training a very tall good looking white dude on approaches after I saw him trying to pull some 40 year Asian cougar and fail really hard. He has yellow fever I think. I gave him some lines and he almost pulled a younger gal from an old Asian man. He is still too raw. He had her about 3 lines in, but he does know how to close. Man though did he put in alot of effort!!! Anything I was telling him, he was like, Yes sir! I gotta try that!

He is also going to get his passport now. We all gotta have some clay on the table to work with. We cannot work with powder or a lump of coal. It's alot like storming the beach in a war. Not every man is gonna make it through. Guys like this dude, are already on borrowed time. His body alone is probably the same as a 70 year old man due to the obesity. Even if he got his shit together at 35 or 40, he might have a good 20 years left. Not really a reason to abandon a person on that alone, but you have to look at the overall picture of why he is in the position he is in, to begin with. My guess is that he will not pass on his genes, knowledge, or his wealth. However his defeat will not go unused. It can serve as a reminder of what a man can devolve into if he refuses to take on the challenges life presents to him and also serve as a reminder to be more grateful for those good men that God has fortunately put in front of your path to help guide you into becoming a better man. Be grateful and pass it on to the next man that is willing and able.

A mercy killing may be in order. I would destroy myself if I was ever that fat.

On a more serious note.

Reminds me of something that happened to me one summer as a kid: A friend and I were roaming around in his backyard and decided to crawl up under the deck and get away from the heat. We smelled something strange and looked over and saw a desiccated fox carcass. It reminds me of this because if we had seen the fox dying of thirst we probably would have brought some water out for it, but the fox obviously couldn't have known this and died.

What does this have to do with this video? The guy reminds me of the fox. I have no doubt in my mind that he will die (much like the fox did) out of ignorance. He just doesn't realize how close his water is.
