I grew up with and stay close friends with a guy just like him. Both of these guys only need two changes to get the ball rolling:
1. Cutoff external support no checks from Mom, Dad, or the Gov't. Going to bed with the sound and pain of a growling empty belly will quickly focus anyone's mind.
2. Limit computer and internet access to half an hour a day at the library. You know this fool stays glued to his monitor all day playing video games, watching streaming video, searching for / using pornography, trolling internet forums and posting stupid youtube videos. Instead of abusing drugs he abuses hi speed internet. A lot of people drink to forget about life, this guy goes online and sedates himself

It's not unthinkable that he could change things around. Stranger things have happened.

But there is a difference between being 5-10kg overweight and god knows how much he is overweight. It must feel overwhelming to be in that situation and I can understand his self-defeatist outlook on life. He seems like a decent guy and, taking into account his lack of social interaction, seems reasonable intelligent. Wouldn't it be cool if someone in his area were to befriend him and give him the motivation to change his life? He's only 23 so there is still time. PoosyWrecker mentioned he lives in the Tampa Bay area.

Really inspirational video. Also notice - the yoga instructor who didn't give up on him was not some SWPL yoga chick but a tattooed bad-ass. Very telling.

Signed in to point out that while this man did indeed lose some significant weight, please pay more attention with a critical eye to the underlying motivations of the posting. It is an advertisement for a workout, a somewhat indirect below one's radar approach, however nonetheless it is an appeal for consumers dollars and PR.

I wont elaborate in detail, but the video itself is an over the top appeal for sympathy, and much of it looks staged. Some of the 'falls' look absurd.

Its never too late to change. Some of the biggest losers out there transformed almost instantly, I think a few are rich off it now. All you need is a fuzzy hat and some mascara and *poof*!

I think lives in the same trailer park as Emech.

Ha! I honestly hope he doesn't get into that mystery bs.

I sent him an email and I'm giving him some time to think it over. If he agrees I'm gonna fly out and meet with him.

We could make money on this dude. Let's turn him into a PUA guru. We just need to regurgitate some of the MM and RSD crap, then hire a couple 6-7 chicks to pretend they like him. Easy. Could make a nice 6 figure stack by the end of the year. Plus it'll be fun. This dude is harder than most PUA's out there. Not many men can horse down a whole jar of mayo in 4 minutes. Mystery would've cried.

Everything PU is the same shit repackaged. You just need new flair, and I have just the thing. We get him to wearing custom suits and chain smoking. He looks bigger than life then people will believe it. We'll act like his wings and fuck up a lot on purpose, making him look like the boss. Got all this figured out in like 10 minutes.

Well my plan if he chooses to accept it: get him to start losing weight and lifting, since he self admitted he's uneducated get him in some class, turn his YouTube into an underdog story/vlog, and possibly into a motivational speaker. All while teaching him game.

But Ali, I love your idea as well. I'll be stealing those ideas if you don't mind.

Will sell the ideas for 25% of the profits. My crazy Greek business partner resides in Tampa and will make sure the payments are on time. He has a big rock on his desk, so don't be late.

I don't get it. Yeah, this guy is obese and out-of-shape, but when I saw his full body...I mean, I've seen MUCH fatter people working a variety of different jobs, including fast food. Why the hell is it so hard for him?

You watch more from the video that RioNomad posted and he bitches about the prospect of doing community service, bitches about places like AL-UHH-BAMA as if its beneath him ("fuck that shit"), only wants to do work that he is "passionate" about (how many guys in investment banking have a true "passion" for it, or construction, etc.), and talks about how he has "fun" now and likes to "live in the moment" (I honestly can't even imagine what this can consist of). That being said, I don't feel sorry for this guy. I don't want to help this guy. He has a SHIT attitude about everything. Everything should be easy. He should feel GOOD about what he is doing at all times. Gosh man; watch an episodes of "NFL Hard Knocks". Shit isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

The guy's primary problem isn't that he is fat. His problem is that he has the completely wrong attitude and agenda. If he were a positive, highly-motivated, go-getter intent on improving himself, those youtube videos wouldn't exist. Because he doesn't possess any of the positive qualities that I just mentioned, he is a fat, angry, lazy, negative waste of space. It's very clear how he ended up the way that he is.

It's interesting to note the disparity of compassion, empathy, and social outlook in this thread. We have a number of pity-posts and optimism, and an equal number of dissatisfied cynicism.

Anything is possible, but realistically this guy is probably just going to leech of his mother and be a nobody until one of them dies. People can change, but rarely do. Some folks make lifestyle adjustments, but their propensities for addiction, sloth, pessimism, dishonesty, and/or narcissism still remain. No one truly defeats a personality trait - they just find ways to mitigate, mask, or cope with it so they can overcome the negative effects of it.

I see this guy and a see human waste. A young man who is squandering his youth and just being a selfish burden making excuses for anything and everything. He is the personification of what is wrong with our culture. Lazy, entitled, selfish, uncouth, and ignorant.

Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see this guy turn his life around and become a real man, I just don't see it happening. Guy needs a documentary or something.

I actually feel somewhat bad for this guy. His life has to be fucking horrible.

CasketKing is a fitting handle because this dude is going to drop dead before long or put a bullet through his brain.

TLDR, dropped out in 8th grade. No GED. Depression. Working at fast food but had to quit/got fired because he couldn't keep up. 23 years old. Thinks hes not smart enough to learn any kind of skill or trade. Life plan is to make money from YouTube. Stopped watching at 3:40 because I felt like killing myself.

Thanks for taking the bullet on this one Rio.

And whoa there Fatty McFat guy. Good luck making money off youtube. A friend of mine is a singer in the EDM genre. Some of her videos have a 1,000,000-plus views. And 1M views is = to about $4 to $5. That's it.

Last month, she had over 4M views on her 13 videos and made $20.85

2wycked what is your cut for pushing views to his youtube channel? [Image: smile.gif]

Seriously, I can't believe he has over 250 videos on his channel.

I would assume not. That kind of change has to come from within, as cliched as it sounds. You can only really do it if you're not happy with who you are.

Its not gonna happen. He hasn't responded to my latest emails. He said he didn't want to waste my time. I hope one day it clicks for him and he reaches out to me. As much as I can dislike our society and what has been created, I always like helping people turn their lives around.

Shame. Things could have been so different for him.

Good on ya for trying, although I guess it was always going to be a long shot.
