Whatsapp: Squaring the Text vs Phone debate

WhatsApp is the best because it makes sending pictures easy. Doing an MMS is a pain.
WhatsApp also allows more messages on the screen compared to what my phone shows for messages.

KiK has been getting a lot of traction here recently but I hate it as it doesn't require a number so it's a cop out for girls to give it to you. Whenever a girl says she has KiK I just say I don't and keep trying for the number.

The $0.99/year subscription has kept a lotta broads off that app. But as the #1 messaging app (# of monthly users), its lag time is virtually zero and iCloud actually backs up saved conversations. I like the app, but not that many people I know in Los Angeles use it over text. Like Roosh said, it's huge for people overseas.

I never had to pay for it and have been using it for a couple of years now. Just uninstall and reinstall does the job I guess.

Women are down with it because it lets them get attention from multiple guys at the same time

Ahhh. Sounds very logical. Since social media took off, even below average looking chicks are getting attention. Makes sense why most women like to text nowadays.

You've got Line, Tinder, WeChat, whatsapp, Viber, and a million other apps. And if you try to follow up with girls on each of these platforms you're going to lose your mind.

I am planning for a trip and would like to load many of these chat applications. But I want to know can you set all of these applications up for a burner phone number? To be more specific, a burner number on your main cell phone. Or does it get way to complicated trying to use the burner app each time and then opening the chat app? If that is even possible.

Or is it better just to buy a phone like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-3G-Unlocked-An...566ea7d8a8

And take it for the trip I am going on and just buy the sim card.

Thanks.

Samsamsam ---- for WhatsApp and Viber you need to get it synced to a certain phone number. When u install the app, it'll send u an activation code to that specific number.

So let's say u want to sync those apps to your main number but youre using a burner phone for the trip. What you do is plug your primary Sim into a second phone --- install the app on your burner phone giving your primary number --- you'll get an activation code on the phone that has your primary sim... Just enter it into the burner phone and youre set -- for WhatsApp and Viber.

For tinder u need Facebook.

Edit --- u can install it on your main phone with a burner Sim as well. When you install the app, just enter the burner number for activation. The apps are tied to your number not your phone. So let's say you go to one country and get WhatsApp on ur main phone with a burner number. Then you go to a new country, get a new burner Sim. Just select the migrate feature to update your new number (or reinstall the app). Don't buy a new phone just for the apps.

Double Edit -- WhatsApp and Viber both have VOIP calling(over the internet) features as well.... For WhatsApp though, the calling thing is not pre-installed. you'll need to be called by someone who has whatsapp with the calling functionality enabled.

Ive got it on mine, so if you need the VOIp activated for ypur WhatsApp account just pm me your number and I'll give you a missed call
