Prague Nightlife has picked up a bit recently. There are still lots of tourists guys going for broke in the center, but now I have a pretty good idea of why girls can be so cold when tourists try to open them. Here's a detailed description of one night, that provides some examples of what they go through.

One recent night I hit a bunch of random places and finally ended up in a happening place around 2AM. Pretty quickly I ran into a girl I knew, so I was talking to her and her friend. One tourist guy who looked like a rock star was hitting on her friend, so after the girls took off I started talking to him. He had pretty good game, every opener he did stuck, but he always went full kino within 5 minutes and everytime got blown out.

Two blondes walk in, one teenage body style 8 and one tall girl with too big ass and big tits. Judging from the attention the tall girl was getting 90% of guys seemed to find her doable at that time and place and for English guys this was probably bread and butter. There were five English guys, mid 30s - 40s standing around in a group watching for awhile and one opens them, so within moments 5 guys surround the girls, and after 2 songs one goes full kino on the 8 so she turns around and grinds her ass into his crotch. He starts to grab it, so she turns around pushes him back and they all get blown out. One black guy in the group stayed on the fringes and gets a free pass, so now the two girls both go dance with him with an expectant look on their faces. He goes beta and goes to talk to his friends. It's really unclear what's going on with these two. I'm pretty sure they are bi.

I'm drinking at the bar with rockstar watching all that and a girl comes up and asks me for a light, so I just hand her a pack of matches from the bar. She's alpha and stays around to chat, she's a student, very good English. Not really my style, cute, but round style face, body is the big tits, full ass style where it looks great without clothes but a little bit too curvy (for my tastes) with. She wants to dance but I'm looking for an opening with 8, so I tell her that rockstar guy is a good dancer. He jumps for that, but she pulls me out to dance. She's going full kino and I start to get interested and stick with her. She's got a handbag full of red bulls and cigarettes and keeps disappearing to restock. Whenever i went away from her for more than a minute, rockstar was back in trying to work her, but there are a lot of girls around so it just takes a minute to help him find another and he gets the hint. After about an hour I sit down. RockStar guy always has a girl to dance with, but they don't last too long because he's going full kino immediately. I had to work the next day so I try to get RedBull girl back to my place for champagne. No! She wants to dance all night, then "maybe". She claims her friend left and went to another bar, but she was alone in this bar the whole time I was there. I think about getting the number, but decide I would never call her, so I say I'm going home. She says I'm boring and goes to hit on some other guy.

While I was dancing with the redbull student girl I saw 5 hot girls roll in, so I go to find them. I'm a little bit drunk by now, and when I walk up, they're all immediately talking and for a moment I don't know what's going on. Then I recognize them. They all work in one night spot I go to pretty regularly. For the last two years I've thrown subtle game at them but never gone for any sort of close (except for with one -- who backs off immediately). I decide to go for it and forget about sleeping. The girl I hit on before leaves with one girl and the two hottest ones decide that a 3rd that I never talked to before has to dance with me. After five minutes she goes full kino, touching me and trying to unbutton my shirt, then she starts going for the make out. 8 is hovering around all this time when I'm dancing with girls, watching, coming close behind the girl I'm dancing with almost going for the sandwich. Now I'm more sure she is bi.

Redbull girl reappears, hovers around to see if she can break in, then when we sit down, she comes and sits too, in the middle of three girls and me. Now rockstar guy shows up again and dances with the hottest one. He gets some traction, but none are going for his kino either. RedBull girl leaves without saying anything. Now the two hotter girls are dancing and a tourist guy comes up and tries to open them, they ignore, him so he moves in trying to touch them. One pushes him away. He pulls off is watch and dangles it in front of their faces (something, like, look I have a Rolex?). They laugh at him. Now two guys who were watching from the bar come over now. Turns out they work with the girls. They are acting very thirsty and they're trying hard to keep the girls away from me. I try to get the girls to come to my house for a drink, but one is like, we know you from work! It's not possible (not possible while those guys from work are watching I think).

I start to look around. 8 has two Czech guys and she's got her shirt pulled up as high as possible without showing her tits. Showing her tatoos, chiseled abdomen, and the rest of herself. When she's not doing that, she's doing her grind her ass in the crotch trick. The tall big ass girl is gone, so 8 is alone, I dance, she gives me half a moment's time, but I can't get traction. Then I notice a girl with a perfect body and a huge rack covered by just a little thin t-shirt, just standing in the back alone and watching. She has the sex worker style and I'm thinking - porn actress or stripper. I go up to her and say, "I've met you before haven't I?" No answer. "Are you a dancer?" No answer. So I just wait, it's hard to keep my eyes off the big tits because it's late and the nipples seem to be in the wrong place. So she just looks at me. Then she says, "The DJ is bad, do you know who it is?" We start to talk about clubs and I tell her we should hang out sometime, I'm looking for a good partier to go clubbing with me. She seems down with that. Then she asks me to request a song for her. I go do that, then I go say my goodbyes to the 3 girls. I notice RedBull girl at the bar talking to some nerdy guy, looking like she's working it hard, and I go back to the porn girl. I tell her it's going to close soon, does she want to go to an after party? She says where? I tell her, "there are lots of places, we'll find something". I notice a strange smell, sewage like. Not sure what it is. She points to a guy passed out on the chair next to us, "I have to get my friend out of here". I ask her if she's going home. "No, I'm going to send him home, then I'm coming with you". I tell her I'll be back in two minutes, go to get my coat, come back and they're gone. I think they must be waiting outside, but when I go out, nobody. I guess the friend had an "accident" and she decided she couldn't let him go alone ... who knows. I was much unhappy about that.

Dumb question maybe, but can't you try and run McQueen's "Stripper Game" at their strip clubs if these are mostly working girls as you tend to believe? Or have you gone that route already and this was just sot of a one-off incident?

Re the touristy guys, just how bad is it in the center now with these guys? I always assumed that you'd be better off hitting up the lesser known places but not sure how you are rolling, and/or if there are really too many 'locals' clubs anyway. Truth be told, although I try that strategy in Moscow I spend most of my time when I go out at the same old usual clubs near the center. But there are nowhere near as many tourists here as in Prague I think. Thanks.

I don't know McQueen's stripper game but in Prague I've found it easier to pull strippers from bars than clubs. I'm pretty sure 8 isn't a stripper/ho/porn. She gets off work at 2AM and her colleagues are more mainstream. The "porn girl" probably was, but i was thinking she was one of those that work in Vienna or Germany for a few weeks every month. Just the generally more open-minded more western vibe you dont get from girls who never left. You can see these porn style girls in any glitzy place, in the center or out, so it's not a specialty, just a style/lifestyle. For me that would mean a one-off/interesting diversion. It's more likely that you'll meet these and the girls who have traveled around a bit in the Center too.

The key thing is Prague is really small wrt people going out at night, so girls can be pretty sure that if they hook up with somebody at night, they will run into him again. The small city thing is a really important dynamic when you are looking for DTF girls. Of course some couldn't care less. Just this morning i walked by two policemen and a hot police woman. I thought the girl looked familiar but didn't want to stare at police, so I kept walking, then I hear "JohnQ!" So i stop and she falls back and chats with me for a few minutes. She was a chick i went out with 6 years ago who always wanted to be a policeman. In Prague there are dozens of places outside of Old Town, but those places are usually more specific so u have to find your kind of places. Also people in those are more likely to notice somebody doing PUA game so value quickly evaporates. I've seen PUAs in half empty clubs open every unattached girl with no success. For guys who are new, the Mediterranean style, stick like glue game seems to work better. Daygaming in malls outside the center is great though.

Re: Tourists: november was good, not too many, but they will be back for the holidays. This phenomenon of a few clubs on one street is pretty recent but a lot of times just two blocks away from the bad places u can find great ones. That photo of 8 is in one of those that just opened.

Too lazy to post a datasheet but I wanted to give Ostrava a shout out. According to a Slovak friend, the place used to be a real industrial shithole back in communist days but it has since been transformed into a rather pretty small city. I was there for 2 nights in the end of November and I had a blast. Stodolni is perhaps the most convenient night life setup I have ever encountered. You can walk the street within 10 minutes and within that stretch are about 30 bars and nightclubs. Not a single tourist and a bountiful supply of czech university students. I told them I was from Florida and there eyes went open. A hidden gym...

p.s. Stodolni is kind of dead Sundays. I was too hung over to check out of my hotel Sunday morning so I booked another night. I did, however, discover where everyone goes on the day of the rest: the mall. There is a huge mall in Ostrava and it was packed with some of the greatest talent I had ever seen!

I have whizzed in and out a couple of times for stuff at the exhibition centre but not really spent meaningful time there. I was also going to mention Ostrava so its interesting what Ed said in his post. ok Ostrava is on my 'hotlist' now but I'm wondering if it has more than the normal Thurs-Sat nightlife scene...and with my intermediate Russian will I be able to understand any Czech at all? That could be a fun conversation...

Yea...Thurs-Sat nightife is the norm in E. Europe unfortunately. The people don't earn enough to party every night. It is a big university town, however, so it wouldn't surprise me if there were house parties other nights of the week. If I was location-independent, I would move to Ostrava in a heartbeat, learn Czech and make the place my fiefdom.

As for the language, Czech is pretty distant from Russian. You may be able to understand a word here in there but I wouldn't speak Russian with the locals though. They arent exactly Russophiles.

there are considerable differences between polnish and czech.
for example "szukat" means to search in polnish but "šukat" means to fuck in czech. one of my polnish classmates had to find out the hard way when she was asking for directions lol.

also "droga" means a road in polnish but "drugs" in czech so you have to watch out.

If you speak Czech to the Poles, they think you are trying to speak Polish but are pretty bad at it. They think it sounds like a child and kind of comical, at least at my level of Czech :-) but it's a good opener with Polish girls because they want to know where you learned to speak like that. Between Russian, Czech and Polish the numbers are almost the same, so at least you can buy stuff. When I'm in Ukraine I speak Czech to them, the few Ukraine speakers can understand pretty easily and the Russian speakers try to guess, like if i say kolik (how much) to a taxi driver, he's like ... skolka? (how much in russian). So it can work for basic stuff.

Yes,it is the only region where polish is respected and spoken.Generally Poles make fun of Czechs(Pepiczki) and regard Czech language as a kind of baby polish while Czechs tend to disregard Poles(many Czechs never visit Poland).
For sure some interslavic megafucks between Czechs,Poles and Slovaks take place across this interesting area(Zaolzie,upper Silesia,Tatry).

Speaking Russian would definitely go well in CR in case they regard you as an oligarch or at least as a wealthy Slavic brother.As long as Czechs get a gain financially they are able to speak all Slavic langauges.
