I stopped taking Adderall though I have an open door to my Psych Dr. I don't know I figured once I added TRT and Sermorelin (Peptide) I'd just give up on the Adderall.

By the way the main reason I stopped taking adderall was at 46, frankly I was having trouble with performance. And it literally just dropped off overnight, I went from having BWC that was ready to go, to worrying about ED. Eventually I started suspecting it was the Adderall and I am certain that was the cause.

I've not tried Adderall since I started the Nitric Oxide stack with a little Liquid Cia on the side. Definitely have vastly noticeable improvements in vascularity which I assume means all over the body, not just the visible parts. Hehe.

Wandering off point, I get tired as hell all day, pound low-carb energy drinks and by night I stay up reading sites like this, and start the same cycle over the next day. It's getting harder to do that, the Sermorelin is supposed to be stimulating the Pituitary gland to release GH, which means my body really wants it rest now. I went cold turkey off Caffeine for about 3-4 weeks to see if I could handle it, and some crazy last week deadlines had me back on the energy drinks.

I have but one concern and most of this crowd seems too young to deal with it, but does any variant we are discussing in thread do the same thing Adderall does? (at least it did to me)

Cutting back on Modafinil. Since I got the script three weeks ago I just went all in with a half dose(100mg), and several days full dose(200mg) about 5 days a week. Its led some very strange things with me; anxiety, nervousness, sweats, and get this, a little depression. I think I am going off of it for a week or so, then I will pick the days I will use it and use it less. I have also been hitting the diet and gym heavy and have cut my calories severely during this time. Another weird thing; I have forgotten my keys and locked myself out of my apartment twice. One night I had to go to a hotel and then go into work in the morning to get them where I left them. I never do this. I never lose my wallet, or my keys, or any of that. With detail at work, its a different story, I talk like I have a pipeline in my brain of information, I am much more comfortable and natural in conversation. I am actually much more fun to talk to I think. But the trade off is the anxiety and weird forgetfulness.

I do not get the anxiety. I get hyper focused. The forgetfulness happens quite often. I find that constantly drinking water with modafinil helps with the forgetfulness.

Hey has anyone else noticed hair regrowth while using any sort of Nootropic or smart drug? I have been using Piracetam and aniracetam 5 days a week for a couple months while at work and out of nowhere this past week I am getting new thick dark hairs coming out of scalp. I have about 90% of my hairline still but it has been receding for the past 5 years or so. The hair is growing not just a long my hairline but also 1/4" out where i havent had hair in 4 or 5 years.

I have always taken pretty good care of myself by eating right and working out and not taking any new supplements that i havent used in the past. The only real new thing i have been doing is trying different noots over the past year or so. But lately been very consistent over the past 3 months or so with Piracetam and aniracetam. My hypothesis is the increased bloow flow to the brain is also finding its way to my scalp and causing hair to regrow

any thoughts?

^^^ Funny enough barbers/hairdressers can notice the hair difference if I'm on Nootropics or not. One regular person that does my hair notes the differences and I connect it to which Nootropic I'm taking.

noopept and others = wavey and more "healthy"

Quoting my own post.
I ordered from RX Rex.
He still has the deal for 100 pills for 100 dollars.
The pills from straight from the manufacturer. Sealed packed, but no box.
They are shipped in a envelope.

Yes eventually took 2 months before I got the product.. but there is a catch.
The first order got stuck in customs for some reason and never left India.
I messaged back and for the RX Rex over Reddit. He said, no big deal, realized the error and shipped again.
The package arrived in the states in about 13 days.
So it really took maybe 30 days.
The extra 20 something days it took to get to my hands was because.
I'm not in the states, I had so ship to a friend in the states and have him ship it to me in Korea ( I didn't want to risk it getting caught in Korean Customs.

I have also been traveling and working, so I havent checked my mail for over 2 weeks either.

The package came with 220 pills...instead of 100.
I wasnt charged any more or any less.

There's really no point in arguing about cost of modafinil at these prices. At $1-1.50 a pill its cheaper than a 20oz bottle of Coke, which retails for $1.79 and provides infinitely more productive, clean energy for the whole day vs the nasty 30 min addictive buzz of caffeine. The only reason people bitch about the price is because you gotta byuy 100 or so at once.

Headaches seem to be a common side effect. I get one maybe 10% of the time, although they're never that bad.

One possible explanation (aside from dehydration or low blood sugar, as it certainly does suppress appetite) concerns folks who typically drink a decent amount of caffeine.

If you're used to drinking a cup of coffee or two each day, but then find yourself abstaining due to the energy and focus you get from modafinil, you may incur some slight withdrawal. Try drinking a cup of green or mild black tea along with the modafinil-it's just enough caffeine to prevent the negative effects, without introducing uncomfortable amounts of energy and jitters.

Regarding the headaches.
I originally took a full 200mg pill and had a pretty good headaches for a while.

I also pissed , what seemed like every 30 minutes.
Easy solution to this was to buy a 4 dollar pill cutter and crusher.

You can probably find it at at a Walgreens or whatever.
That way I could cut and store them.
Cut then into half and take them every couple hours.



Modafinil is a diuretic, so drink a good amount oh of water with it. I drink a liter of Gatorade or Powerade thought the night.
The last three weeks I have been working a 12 hour night shift from 9pm on.

I can say that modafinil. Did not really stop me from getting tired at extremely late hours.
I still had to go walk around a bit and stretch my legs

I'm currently doing a quarter of a 200mg pill in the morning if I know I need to be on point. Maybe twice a week. Still not sure if it's fucking me up the day or two after though, I seem to be lacking motivation which others have also described. Don't want to become addicted to the effects it so experimenting carefully.

I'm also prescribed to 200mg and usually take no more than a 1/8 a pill every couple of days. I started out taking half a pill and the side effects felt like my brain was seconds from a blue screen at all times. It literally felt like I could be walking or driving or doing anything and I could lose consciousness. Very strange feeling. While I believe the medicine has some merit in correcting sleep patterns, it's a minimal effect dose type medicine for me that I wouldn't recommend for people that don't have serious issues with chronic fatigue syndrome and capable of waking up and sleeping regular hours.

I'm looking into this. I can probably get a doctor to prescribe it to me since I have worked night shifts and swing shifts for the last four years so I almost certainly have shift work sleep disorder. I'll be reading up on it in the meantime.

Does it help you think quicker on your feet? I find this to be a big weakness for me.

I've found that it helps me think clearer in terms of having a "plan of attack" for getting stuff done. Especially for someone with low energy that overthinks everything, it can be useful for completing a project or just keeping on track. It helps me logically flow from the most important need to the next. You can definitely get a bit of tunnel vision though and it can amplify impatience levels and anger/aggressive when people are being difficult/morons/pains in the ass.
Regarding costs, my insurance pays $800 a month for 30 pills from manufacturer Apotex Corp. Not sure if everyone is getting the real thing at $1.50 a pill. I'd find a doc that will prescribe it if you have decent insurance to cover. I pay $0 out of pocket but was only allowed a 6 month script.
