Thanks rdp, I may just stop by Yogjakarta because of your post. Although I find it bizaare that you stay away from clubs and whatnot, maybe i'll find clubs that only locals go to (this is what I do in Singapore). I don't expect Bali to be as touristy/bad as Phuket, Boracay, Vang Vieng... but we'll find out in a month!

I'm in Kuta, Bali right now and it's as touristy as Phuket. Also, on Phuket, the beach is perfect, but here it's shit.

The place is perfectly safe. Traffic is a bitch (sometimes just better to walk, but the metro system is good) and the language barrier can at times be a "problem".

What is this metro system? There is no metro system in Jakarta.

Can any one advise on what area to stay in the city closest to nightlife? I don't want to stab in the dark on airbnb.com for a city this big?

@Doc_J Can you breakdown a typical approach from open to bang or tell a story that might shed a little light on what pulling will be like once I touchdown?

I would suggest staying close to Plaza Indonesia mall. There are places on airbnb that are just 10 minutes walk from there.
Across the road is the Grand Indonesia mall - this is a huge place with a cool bar/restaurant called Social House.
You will see some top notch upper class women shopping and cafe chilling in these malls during the day.

I think the traffic is manageable. Given that nightclubs do not start getting busy until after midnight even on Fri/Sat you can cab it to most central/south Jakarta clubs within 10 minutes for around $2.

The traffic can be a problem between 4 - 8pm so plan your day not to take a taxi then. If you must travel in peak traffic take the Transjakarta, a rapid bus network that has dedicated lanes - much quicker than a taxi at those times. The buses are split - men at the back, woman in the front - so public transport game is out [Image: wink.gif]

The better clubs have a cover charge of 100,000 or 200,000 IDR - you get a drink included. Drink prices are 60,000 - 130,000 IDR at these clubs. Just about every girl smokes in the clubs - yuk. The guys that do well here (Immigrant, Dragonfly, etc) are generally tall, slim, stylish, aged 23-35.

I would bring in some duty free spirits as spirits and wine are expensive to buy if you want to stock up your apartment/room (beer is cheap and available at 7/11, etc)

good solid advice.
nice to hear someone mention Social House, love that place.

Cyclone. I tend to stay away from clubs and bars that is popular among tourist and backpackers. I prefer the spots where the locals go.
i.e in Cancun I always head for the smaller clubs and bars downtown instead of the big ones that are found at Zona hotelera, I have much more fun there meeting locals.

On Bali I stayed in Sanur, more relaxed there.

Breizh. Correction, the MRT.

ThePrinceOfDixie: I stayed in Jalan Jaksa , it is not far from Plaza Indonesia Mall. It was not easy finding something clean and quiet here. But Alinda hotel is clean, comfortable, safe and away from all the late night noise. It was only 20 Us dollars a night including a shitty breakfast.

Thanks for the advice I'll keep that in mind.

What is the deal with the drinking age here(I'm 19) I read on wikipedia that it was 21 but conflicting sources say it was 17,18, or just not enforced?

I don't know the legal age, but it's never enforced.

At your age I would try clubs like X2 and Stadium (north Jakarta)

All the these malls, clubs, hotels, etc listed in this thread are on Google maps...you should be able to figure it out yourself.

X2 is in the Plaza Senayan mall in south Jakarta.

But given that you are 19, I dont recommend you spend much time in Jakarta...you should be exploring the country, doing adventurous stuff like climbing volcanoes, etc

Prince of Dixie stated that he is interested in meeting and banging girls. And, those kinds of banging-related activities can keep a guy busy for weeks and weeks (and is a pretty good activity for a young guy to be banging girls and trying to bang girls - especially in my opinion if he is accomplishing it without drinking and smoking)... but to each his own - Certainly there are NOT going to be many girls climbing volcanoes - or at least there will be less bang for the buck outside of the city. And, if a guy only has a few weeks, he may want to test out the girl-banging scene first and foremost and rumor is the best bang for the buck is in Jakarta, no?

I tend to agree that the bar scene, drinking and smoking are overrated activities (bc they take a toll on health), and younger people tend to want to spend a lot of their time in drinking and smoking activities. A tough temptation, yet getting laid on a regular basis is NOT overrated.

In my opinion, if there is a way to get laid and play around with girls to get laid without the bar scene, then that would be even better. But again to each his own, and there is some truth that if a girl starts to drink a few, then she is going to be easier to lay.., which is the goal, but if a guy is able to have success in getting the lay without the drinking, then nothing wrong with that.

All advice is appreciated, and I will definitely look into this volcano climbing business it sounds pretty awesome. I already have predisposition to smoking and drinking; I do feel that I'm going where the wind blows, so to speak. I did some internet digging and I found a place on airbnb.com with 'perfect' logistics and it will be a good time.

Great to hear that you are flexible regarding your activities b/c probably it is good to experience a variety of things.

How long are you gonna be in Jakarta, and what are your dates of travel?

Currently, I am planning to book about two months in the Phils (in February and March), and I am thinking that a Jakarta trip may come for me in late 2014.

I am looking to hearing any first-hand accounts about how guys are spending their time around Jakarta and surroundings.

Hey what's up forum members, apologies on not reporting back sooner...as soon as I got back from Indonesia to my home in Phuket, I had to deal w/ a "souvenir" unintentionally brought home w/ me, aka food poisoning...a week later, my family from NYC came to visit me for 2 weeks...then I immediately spent 10 days at a Vipassana/ silent meditation retreat in Chiang Mai (highly recommend - http://www.watrampoeng.net/)..so just getting back to the real world and trying to figure out where the last month and half went, lol.

Anyways, about the trip...the reasons I chose JKT is b/c I was applying for my 1 year+ educational Thai visa...I prev. went to KL and Burma for past visa runs so wanted to try something new that involved outdoor activies (ie. trekking/volcanoes) and after my friend put me onto the Roosh forum, I DEF wanted to check out Indo [Image: smile.gif] I was only meant to stay 4 days in JKT, but visa issues delayed it to 7 days.

A few quick points:

* Islam not a cockblock - pretty easy to get alcohol and plenty of bars/ clubs to party at. The girls didn't seem super-conservative or prudish.
* Language barrier? - not a problem, I was surprised at how much people spoke English...I would say more than Thailand. Def made it easier to ask for directions, recommendations and approaching girls.
* Traffic - It's true, def an issue. Can use public bus (very cheap, but sometimes too crowded) to get around or taxi as it's cheap. But best bet is to keep logistics in your favor, so book a hotel close to the malls/ clubs.
* Street food - I LOVE food, especially what the locals eat, which includes street food/ carts. After living in Thailand for the past 10-months, I figured I had the "Iron Stomach"...but around the 5-day mark, I got food poisoning aka the runs. It was manageable meaning I wasn't sick in bed, nauseous or had to goto the bathroom every hour. But towards the end of my trip, I kinda affected me...and by the 10th day of it, I decided to see the pharmacy in Phuket. If you can, bring cipro...but I'm sure you could prob. get it from any pharmacy there. Despite this, I really liked Indonesian food (during any trip, for me eating what locals eat is part of the experience)...Love nasi goreng ayam (fried rice w/ chicken), the salad w/ peanut sauce (gado-gado), fish that's grilled over a BBQ and the shrimp chips, just try them! You know how I know I'm Asian, I f'kin love RICE AND NOODLES! lol
* Can buy SIM card pretty easy...there's small little shops/ carts/trucks everywhere selling them and it's pretty cheap.
* At night while walking around, I saw a "Sutra carts" selling viagra and sh1t, lol....for you freaks out there [Image: tongue.gif]
* Things to do during daytime when not chasing p00n - I felt like there wasn't much that interested me, but to each there own. I brought my Muay Thai gear and googled MT gyms, so there are ones to train at...but due to traffic, I got turned off. To sight-see - check out the big mosque, big cathedral across from it, the big tower-monument w/ museum inside (I like history and spent 1-2 hours reading stuff there from the art), see old port city (can take public bus there and has museums, public square where you can rent bicycles, also walk through the ghetto and you'll get a bit of gratitude for the life you have). Supposedly there's Achol park w/ sea...I was supposed to go w/ a girl there then plans changed.
* Smoking is everywhere - I have asthma and live a healthy lifestyle - this is prob. one of my big-hangups about the country

Impressions of Indonesian people - For the most part, the people are super-friendly, almost like Thai people...I felt safe & not like everyone was trying to scam me. But it may also help I'm Chinese-American so blend in more easily, lol. Multiple times people spoke to me in Bahasa, lol. As in most SEA countries, the taxi drivers are usually the shadiest f*cks/ hustlers...stay w/ the blue-bird cabs. I didn't get ripped off except the one night I came home 5am from X2...got charged $30 US when it should've been $3-5...being the drunk idiot that I was, I handed him the money w/out thinking. HATE cabbies!

The people are very hospitable too - on 2nd night I sat at a corner resto & shared table w 2 Indo's...they tried to make convo's as best as possible in the little English they spoke. They ended up picking up the tab for me. ANd on the last day in Bandung, on way to airport I befriended two pharmacy students sharing the van w/ me. We ended up waiting at the airport together and they insisted on paying for my last meal since "I'm a guest in their country". Side note - they said that most Muslim extremist actually are not Indonesian, but rather Malaysian..it's such a porous border. You're cabbie will get searched for bombs when you get dropped off. But I never felt like something bad was gonna happen in terms of terrorism.

Funny side-story - i got a random "kanicheewaaa" when i was walking during the day...then some bar-WOMAN (no not bar-girl b/c these ho'z are 40+) asked me after dinner "u korea or japan" lol...man, it's easier for me to blend in back in Thailand... Then the other day a ladyboy approached me n she was hideous n had horse grill lol. But she stepped up her game. She said kanecheewah......But also threw in an "areegato" n few other jap words. Wtf, I hvnt seen any jap tourists lol. Where they learning from lol

Night-game - b/c my first priority was not p00sy, but rather my Thai visa, I had to restrain myself from going out for first few nights...I was waiting for my Thai teacher to email me the completed visa app, which then meant I had to wake up early to make the drop-off window at the Embassy. Being tired/hungover is not fun for me, lol, thus I didn't go out until Friday night. That being said, I wish I went out more nights than I did as that's where the biggest pool of Indo talent would be and easy to find.

X2 nite club - I'm 34 now and clubbing for me is not the highlight of my weekends anymore...but when you wanna get laid, you do what you have to do [Image: tongue.gif] I actually had a good time...went there myself. The layout is very good with wide open space and good sound system. The music wasn't bad either...I'm a bit of a music snob (techno, tech house, deep-house) but the tunes were descent. Mostly progressive house w/ some hip-hop.

The crowd was a mix of locals w/ ex-pats. People were friendly and looking for a good-time...not like the B&T crowd in NY/NJ w/ the d-bags looking for a fight or the portentousness. I was able to approach girls and mixed sets with ease and strike up a conversation. Girls were easily 7 and 8's. One girl I opened was Indo-Chinese...another was half Indo w/ some arab..def my flavor. She was with a girl and some other guy who was not her bf. I didn't pull that night as I made the mistake of spending the majority of my time (well towards end of night) focusing on this hot 22 year old half Thai/American girl instead of trying to diversify w/ other girls. We hit it off and had easy light convo...on the dance-floor I had her grinding up on me, which was awesome as she had on these jean-booty shorts and I was feeling up her thighs the whole time. She's was there w/ 2 other girls. The part I think I fked up on was not having enough C - connection, comfort...when looking back the next morning, I realized I didn't isolate her on any of the seats/ tables surrounding the dance floor to try and get to know her. At end of night, I walked her to parking lot and got phone # as a last ditch for a possible day-time meetup.

This was all on a friday night and didn't get home til 5-6am. I still had a good-time and would def go back to X2. Sat night I was set to go out again to check out Immigrant, but after dinner and trying to pre-game in my room, I said f*ck it and just crawled into bed. Old man status, I know.

Jalan Jaksa - the ghetto backpacker. I would normally stay away from something like this, but my first night I got in late (past midnight) and just wanted to take a stroll since it was down the road from me. I asked where it was to get some food, and the locals all pointed me to this shady-a$$looking alley-way...twice I turned around after walking into it b/c it looked that g*-damn sketchy! So I grew a set and went through anyways...the New Yorker in me caused me to take my watch off and knuckle-up as I passed through the various back-streets which was like a maze. The place is like a quarter/ half-mile stretch and was pretty dead. Saw ladyboys (hideous old ones at that) and none of the places looked like a place I'd even want to grab a quick drink in.

5-days later, I'm bored of JK and desperate to get my Indonesian flag (this happened on a Monday)...I strike up a convo w/ a Canadian dude eating at the same street cart...he's about 22 years old and staying in J.Jaksa...had some interesting stories to tell so agreed to meet up w/ him later since the hostile he's staying at has a bar w/ live music at night. I get there around 10pm and he's w/ the some shady local characters who are a bit sketchy, but in a good, entertain-able way, lol...one b1tch who's fuked up on god-knows what bc half the time she's trying to talk to me, her eyeballs r rolling to the back of her head, lol...and she's like 40+...i want what she's takin! lol...anyways, half the sh1t comin outta her month is not understandable..but we did manage to have a conversation about my background...again w/ the fukin japanese comment..when i say CHINESE, she goes "yeah, i can tell" then proceeds to pull on her eyes and make them slanty!!!! lol...YELLOW on YELLOW crime mang, lol. She was a good laugh. Wish I took a pic of this crackhead b1tch.

Anyways, the girls at the bar look like washed up bar-girls - a bit older but none attractive. I don't see any foreign expat/ backpacker PT either. Later on a a short, cute Indo girl comes in...I make eye contact from afar and when she walks by to use the bathroom I give a what's up and smile. On her way back she stops and we make convo. A few hours later, my friend left and it's just me and her. I couldn't tell if she was a bar-girl or not...she said she works as a hairdresser. Later on she mentions something about money and going home w/ me (can't remember). I tell her in Thailand, I get thai price - free b/c I'm good-looking, good in bed, etc, lol. Either way, I'm against paying for sex and was trying to see if I could atleast shore a girl (still not sure if she was even a working girl). She said something like kiss me and we go. So I kissed her then took her hand and proceeded to walk to my hotel. We get there and I use the bathroom..when I come out, she's already half naked in my bed. I actually took her pants and threw them back at her b/c I told her to put them back on to keep some foreplay...she had a juicy booty and I love the act of peeling off pants / panties before sex, lol. Flag secured [Image: smile.gif]

Next morning around 7ish, ths girl starts going crazy, jumpin around, trying to get changed and making phone calls....she's late for her OFFICE JOB!!! lol...i said why dnt u just go straight in, but she dont have her uniform w/ her. She had to go home first, then come back into the city, the traffic is horrendous here...i felt bad but passed out after she left. No I ended up not paying...btw, she was 29 but looked like early 20's. Good English and cute body. I couldn't call her later that day or next day b/c i ran outta credit and was too lazy to get more. I'm assuming she wasn't a bar-girl b/c she didn't try to get $ from me...also, what bar-girl has a 2nd job, mind you office one...the ones here in Phuket s*ck dick as their main-profession...they're not waiting tables on their down-time, lol.

Pipelining - I used Tinder, Skout and Wechat starting the day I got there as i didn't know about these apps until this forum. From skout, I was able to setup a date w/ a 22 yr old Indo..but I got SIF'd!!!! I swear the profile pic was somebody else!!!! WTF, lol. Had coffee w/ her then said f'k it and let's just grab dinner since she can atleast show me good local food, which we did. This fat kid is happy, score lol. What's fuked up though is I could've met this other 19 yr girl who was def. cuter but i made up some BS excuse to meet the other busted one thinking she was hotter, lol. On wechat, I found some cuties but couldn't setup anything fast enough. I used some websites but nothing came through.

Tip - goto Cilandak Town Square (google CITOS)...it's a good first-date /daytime coffee/lunch/dinner meal spot that's kinda trendy and not too pricey (open plaza/mall w/ cafe's/resto's). It's where the SIF suggested we meet. Has a starbux and we got dinner at a clean, local place...had an awesome spread of local food for $20 US.

Daygame - tried all malls...Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, Senayan, FX mall...I think i went for 2-3 days since I couldn't go clubbing at the beg. of my trip. Didn't really see anything worth approaching. The one cute girl I see, AA kicked in and puss'd out. Then decided to go after her but she was speed walking and lost her. f*ck! Like someone else said, WHERE do all the hotties go during the day. This is why, looking back, I would've made more of an effort to do night-game. By end of trip, it was Sun-Tues and I don't think those are big nights to go out [Image: sad.gif]

Where to stay - It's true, traffic is bad so stay close close to big malls and clubs. I did NOT stay in J.Jaksa, but rather about a 10-min walk...it was close to G.Indo and Plaz. Indo malls and X2. I stayed in 3 diff. hotels b/c like I said, my visa go delayed so had to jump hotels since they'd be booked by time I had to check out. My recommendation out of the 3 -Ibis Tamarin http://www.agoda.com/ibis-jakarta-tamari...XG4w%3d%3d - around $50-70 US per night. Gym included and pool..descent actually. Good location. Plenty of food options.

http://www.agoda.com/ibis-jakarta-arcadi...XG4w%3d%3d - around $50-70 US per night. Right across from other Ibis hotel. This is where I spent first 4 nights.

Last nite in JKT https://www.agoda.com/asia/indonesia/jak...XG4w%3d%3d - around $30 US per night. Descent and cheap..but location is far. Since I wasn't day/night gaming I didn't care...just needed to be in a spot to pickup my passport for next AM as I was leaving for Bandung directly after.

Visa run info - If you're going to do a Thai visa run, it takes 3 days, not 2 like other countries to process your visa app. Keep this in mind if you're trying to keep costs down or on a tight-schedule. You have to drop off app between 8/9am off until 12:30pm (only 3 hour window). Come back two days later in afternoon (2-5pm?) to pickup. No lines and in/out. Maybe like 5-10 other people. Not a clusterf*ck like other Thai emassies. But does take 3 days to process. Office is pretty easy to find. Just google it. It's by Ritz-Carlton hotel.
http://www.thaiembassy.org/jakarta/en/or...dress.html

Also, you can goto Bali as their's an embassy there.

Summary - I love to travel to new countries and learn about diff. cultures/ history. Getting to experience the local talent is an added bonus and not the sole reason for me to visit. When my friend told me about Roosh forum a month ago, I was like WOW, what an awesome site and concept (travel plus working on social skills/pickup!) [Image: smile.gif] Prob. read 20+ threads for 5-days straight, lol. After reading the Indo threads, it seemed like a p*ssy haven, lol. However, I think there's one big-difference btwn my experience and what other guys have had - I'm an Asian guy. I didn't get the eye-f*cking or approaches since I probably look Indonesian and just "normal" to what the girls have seen. The "white-exoticness" is lacking, lol. With that said, it's still possible as an Asian guy to go out, have fun and meet the girls there. Yes, basic things ie. game, having style, confidence to out alone and conversational skills are needed. Back home when I used to live in NYC, I paid money for a 3-night bootcamp and separately for a day-game instructor (yes, w/ JT Tran since he understands the hangups Asian guys have). I'm no beta anymore and my game/lifestyle has def improved...if you're considering going to Indo, use it to work on yourself and your experience as there's not substitute for it. All the books won't help until you go out into the field. BTW, I did read Roosh's books right before the trip, Bang and Daygame...def recommend them both to anyone.

If I were to go again - I would def hit up the clubs more (I thought day-game was gonna be the bread-n-butter of my trip).

After JKT, I was planning on making trips to Bandung, Jogajakarta, Surabaya and few other cities (the temples)...but b/c of the visa delay and the fact that my fam was coming to Thailand shortly after, my trip plans were shortened. I only had a chance to spend 3 days in Bandung.

Bandung
-My focus was more on culture/outdoor activities rather than PT.

-I got lost on way to new hotel and stumbled into tour agency asking for help. The owner ended up helping me. Superfriendly and knowledgeable and lived in us for 7 yrs for grad skewl. Ended up driving me to new hotel then droppin me off at outdoor shopping market. It had factory outlets whch were meh, but the local indy stores were dope. Got me 2 wallets and tank top for 15 US or 500 baht. Then at dinner he picked me up and showd me a dope local outdoor spot. This guys was like a long lost uncle to me..he's Chinese (fujian) but grew up in Indo. Was able to go jungle and volcano trekking - check out my blog for more details and pics. Would DEF recommend this city if you're gonna visit JKT as it's pretty close.

http://www.journeyto8limbs.com/2013/11/1...indonesia/

-I took the Argo train from JKT to Bandung...about 3 hours and very cheap.

-Used CS and got a lot of replies, but ended up not going out. Didn't run any night/day game. This is def. a university town...but the girls look look like they're too young / petite for my taste.

-I sayed in Dago area which was very nice. Def recommend this Ruma Aca guesthouse - big room, clean, good location...it's actually someone's house/mansion (some lady). The 3rd floor is dorms for girls (I tried to creep but you need a swipe card to get in - cockblock!)...4th floor is dorms for boys and not locked.

https://www.agoda.com/asia/indonesia/ban...XG4w%3d%3d

Summary - Bandung was prob. the highlight of my 10-days in Indonesia (yes, even over the flag). Unfortunately my time was limited...being that I live in Phuket, Indo is very close and plan on making a trip back to see the cities already mentioned that I missed. Good food, friendly people, low-cost of living and cute girls [Image: smile.gif]

Thx man...spent 3 hours this morning getting all my thoughts onto paper. This site & the forum members are an excellent resource in not just pickup, but in life skills and developing ourselves into better human beings. Wish there was something like this when I was lost in high-school.

Just trying to give back [Image: smile.gif]

Hey guys, first post. Got a lot of great info from this site and wanted to share my experiences.

I received a job offer in Jakarta and wanted to check it out before moving there permanently. Can't say I was a fan of the city, for the obvious reasons - traffic and pollution mainly - along with the fact that there's really not much else to do besides go to clubs and shopping malls.

I had some immediate disadvantages there, as I am by trade a daygamer, and I hate shopping malls. Too big and bright, too many people, girls rarely alone, etc. I rely mainly on street pick up. Being a New Yorker, I'm very comfortable in this environment, and have picked up girls on the street all over the world. However, Jakarta literally has no street game. There are sidewalks, but nobody really uses them. People don't walk anywhere. So this was a big issue for me.

Second issue was that I'm not a great club guy. Granted, I've taken girls home from clubs, and getting numbers isn't difficult, but I think to do well in clubs you have to legitimately and authentically LIKE that environment, and I just don't. I also feel the amount of energy required, plus money (admission fees, drinks) and time isn't worth it (at least for the SNL). However, it can be great if you just want to get a lot of numbers.

Anyhow, sorry for the long intro. What I decided to do was to use a three-pronged approach: the above-mentioned malls and clubs plus the internet. I pipelined about a week before going there and messaged any girls between 18 and 26 that looked halfway decent. Sent out like 40 messages, and got replies from half. About half of them I started talking to via text and whatsapp, and about half of them I set up dates with. Also met a couple girls once I got there, so all in all, I was there for 12 days and had a date with a different girl each day.

However, I didn't go on actual 'dates.' I just had them meet me at my apartment. I was renting a super sweet place (60/night via airbnb) in south Jakarta. Pretty decent location (close to 2 malls and 1 club), and equipped with a pool, gym, cafe, restaurant, cable tv, etc. I basically told the girls that I was new and Jakarta was confusing, and it would be easier to meet at the apartment than anywhere else. Also, I never invited them to my ROOM; I always said we could go to the cafe, sit by the pool, etc. However, when the girl arrived I just took her straight there. I always made sure to have the TV on, and would sit down on the bed and ask her to sit next to me. After a little while, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes a couple hours, depending on the mood, I'd go in for the kiss. Most would accept it, but others took a little bit more persuading. However, out of 12 girls, only 1 flat out refused any physical contact. Another only let me kiss her, and another let me get pretty far (but no sex). All the rest let me sleep with them.

Some of these girls came over late and spent the night, but most came around dinner time. This was perfect because I could spend the afternoon daygaming in malls, see the girl for a few hours, and then hit a club after if I still had energy. As mentioned, I'm not super adept at malls and clubs, but even so, nearly every time I went out I got at least one number. I hit all the major malls: Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, Plaza Senayan, Senayan City, etc. Clubs I went to were X2, Immigrant and Dragonfly. I have to say that at both malls and clubs, I didn't see a ton of hot girls. Maybe only 5-10% of the girls were really hot. And in malls they were in groups (or even with their parents), and at clubs they were with guys or groups so hard to talk to.

Another huge turn-off was all the white guys at the clubs. Maybe half the people I saw there were from Europe, U.S., Australia, and most were the same embarrassing expats you see in China, Japan, etc. - white guys in groups drinking a lot, dancing (badly) and desperately trying to hook up. It actually made me embarrassed to be a white guy in Jakarta.

I did see some legitimately hot girls here and there, but not nearly as many as I thought. Just about the same as anywhere else. I think a lot of guys only see the miniskirt and cleavage and are like, damn! But hey, whatever floats your boat. Also, full disclosure, none of the girls I slept with were supermodels. However, they were all between 20-25 and had fantastic bodies. Even the ones that were a little chubby had these incredible curves and amazing skin, both the texture and color. I've never quite experienced anything like it. Plus, their tits and asses are off the hook. Like, even the small tits were super firm and perfectly round, and the big-tits were fucking unbelievable.

This was also the first time I had sex with muslim girls, but they're really no different than others. And some of them were freaks!

Anyhow, I guess that's it. Pm me if you want any specific details. Would also love to hear from any guys who actually live there and what their experiences are like. It's obviously quite easy to sleep around, but I wonder how it would be if you lived there full-time and wanted an actual relationship. Would probably be difficult to stay with just one girl, and from what I hear Indonesian girls are not very faithful either. Cheers.

NYC - great first post, and welcome.

Sounds like you had a pretty good experience in meeting girls and maybe banging several girls in less than 2 weeks.

you did NOT give much description of yourself...physically, your looks or your age range... which can make a difference in how guys may approach... and was your looks a factor and how did you play that portion of it.. for example which online services did you use?

Certainly, it is more encouraging to hear if a guy is NOT super handsome but still able to pull girls in the early 20s age range.. if you are early 20s that's one thing and if you are late 40's that could be another way of playing it.

Oh, and do you currently live in NYC area... and is that your previous gaming experience or how would you describe your success in other areas... ? Your profile shows that you have been to a lot of other places.

Bold strategy - great you pulled it off. Given the logistical challenges in Jakarta this might be the best move there. I think I'll try some of these 'dates' on my next trip.

Thanks man. Sorry about the lack of description..actually realized I should have included that stuff right after I posted it. I'm in my late 30s but look younger. Told everyone I was 31 and they still thought I looked under 30. I'm six-three, white and not bad looking, although lately I've been too busy to hit the gym so could stand to lose a couple pounds. I also look more Italian or Spanish than American, which over there is maybe not such a good thing (several girls were surprised I was from the U.S.; they thought all Americans had blonde hair). For most of my trip I had pretty bad jet lag, and the pollution was not good for my asthma, so my game was way off. However, I still managed to sleep with several girls. I used Skout, Tagged, DIA, POF and this random language exchange site (mylanguageexchange.com), as well as malls and clubs.

In terms of previous experience, as mentioned I rely almost exclusively on daygame, and while I will certainly go to cafes, bookstores, malls, etc., my main method is street pickup. It's not for everyone, and a lot of guys maybe don't want to even attempt it because you don't have a captive audience like in a cafe or bar; you have to literally stop the girl in her tracks. I actually see guys do this a lot in New York but they often fail because 1) they stand in front of the girl and wave their arms and shit so she gets scared (always do it from the side), and 2 ) the second the girl rejects them they move onto the next one, and then the next, so they just look like a fucking stupid loudmouth spitting game that goes nowhere (if you don't succeed with the girl, wait a few minutes before talking to another, or go to a different area so as not to look like a loser).

It also helps to have a gimmick. When I first started doing street pickup I almost always asked for directions. This usually works pretty well, especially if you're in a foreign country because you might actually be lost and need the help so it feels authentic. After you get the directions, you can then try and open the conversation into other areas - where are some good places to go around here? Can you recommend a good restaurant? What should I definitely see while I'm here? Etc. The key is just to keep the conversation flowing, during which you can tell if she likes you or not. And then you just ask for her number, or Facebook, or whatever particular communication app they use in that country (Whatsapp, Line, etc.). Usually I would just get their contact info and plan to meet them another time. But once in a while, if you have really good chemistry and and the girl doesn't have anything pressing to do, you can go for the insta-date. I did this once in Shanghai and just brought the girl back to my hotel to 'watch a movie.' I think I slept with her less than a half hour after meeting her.

I've managed to meet girls this way in Japan, China, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Either through research or trial and error I would find a busy, well-trafficked place and just plant myself there for hours and hours, sometimes staying in the same place, sometimes wandering around, but always in the same general area. It's a numbers game, so you have to talk to quite a lot of girls. I'd say in general, maybe half will just smile and keep walking, and then half of the ones that talk to you won't be interested in you, and then half of the ones that ARE interested in you will flake on the date, so if you talk to 50 girls, maybe you will only meet 5 of them. That might not seem like a lot, but if you're in a busy place you can easily talk to 50 girls in a couple hours, so it's not so bad.

Also, while I have definitely met some super hot girls by doing this, you really need to understand the lay of the land first. This is actually a really complex issue and probably best saved for another post, but in rich countries like Japan the most beautiful women will almost certainly be with local men. I tried and tried to talk to these girls but got nothing. However, once I slightly lowered my standards I did much better.

I also do this all the time in New York. If I see a cute girl on the street, subway, even sitting in a coffeshop as I'm walking past, I'll talk to her. I don't ask for directions in New York though. I can't really tell you exactly what I say to them, but in all honesty it doesn't really matter. You just need to open her, and then you can tell if she likes you or not. And if she likes you, just try and get the contact info and go before you say something stupid and she changes her mind.

The last thing I'll add, which should be pretty obvious, is that I am really only into Asian girls, and not even Asian-Americans; I like the real thing. I also don't like Asian girls that hang out in places like Roppongi in Japan (Asian girls that hunt white guys). Not only are they usually unattractive, but chances are they've already slept with a ton of white guys. My goal is to find one who is relatively unspoiled, to be the first white guy they've ever been with. My target is pretty specific, so maybe what I do works for that kind of girl.

Anyhow, sorry for how long this got. It's actually good to talk about this stuff. Happy to answer any other questions anyone has. And if there are any guys who live in Jakarta, would love to know what it's like being there for a long period of time, as opposed to just a couple days or weeks.

No problem about the long description, that gives some opportunity for guys to get to know you... or get a sense for your style and preferences... especially on your first few posts.

It does seem like you have some fairly decent physical attributes to work with but... no doubt you have given considerable thoughts to your techniques and strategies, and likely guys can benefit from those kinds of ideas and possibly employ some of your techniques in the right circumstances. +1 from me, for your contribution, here.

I have NOT yet traveled to Jakarta and I am in this thread b/c I am considering it for possibly later in this year. or maybe NO later than next year. Hopefully, some guys will provide some additional feedback to your question about how a longer stay in Jakarta may play out... I heard that there are some issues with longer stays in regards to Visas, but maybe some guys could describe that and longer term lifestyle issues in Jakarta.

Hi, as I have posted before, I had a great time in Jakarta. The only place wilder than Jakarta I know is Wan Chai (Hong Kong) on Sundays. Because it is full of Indonesian and Filipina maids! And they only have one day off.

In Jakarta you will find rich and poor girls, but the preference for tall white guys remains. Even in Bali, among a throng of blond surfers, I was able to pull easily.

I might not be the most indicated to reply the Asian guys queries, but I guess they would do alright (not as well as a white guys, though). The few Asians I have seen in Wan Chai had no problem scoring Indos.

My job allows me to live in any capital around the world (and some other big cities as well). I visited Jakarta to check out whether it would be possible to live there for 2 years. It isn`t! Despite all the attention you get from the girls, Jakarta is the worst city you would choose to live in Asia (among the ones I know, of course). It is dauntingly ugly in some parts, has no subway, traffic jam at any time and virtually nothing to do besides clubbing and shopping. The food is good, though.

Baxiren:

Since you have only posted a couple of times in this forum, we do NOT really know you too well, and I think guys here would appreciate finding out some more details about your experiences in Jakarta or anywhere else.. so we would be able to better understand how you come to certain conclusions. For example, how old are you and how long did you spend in various locations in Jakarta.. and when was that.. and from where are you coming or making such a comparison? Well, you would NOT necessarily need to answer exactly the questions that I have made in order for us to get some better ideas about the experiences that you are describing.

And, even providing a little more detail about your description of your experience(s) in the club in Hong Kong may be useful in terms of when, how many times and for how long did you have such experiences.

Hi,

Sorry for taking such a long time to reply. Somehow I chose not to be e-mailed about this thread. I am 34 years old. I am Brazilian and I have been living in China for the past (or last? I never know) 2 years. Baxi ren means "Brazilian" in Chinese. I have traveled a little around China and Southeast Asia during these 2 years: Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Singapore, Bali, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Cebu, Boracay, Bangkok, Ko Samui, Ko Phi Phi and a few other places. I spent 4 nights in Jakarta. I have been to Hong Kong around 25 times. I could provide a detailed description about Wan Chai, but I guess it would have to be in another topic. Anything else you would like to know?

Trip report: I spent the majority of this past december in Jakarta. All the data give above is great check it out find places to your liking. My favorite clubs X2, Stadium(be ready to stay up all night), Exodus. I think I can some up Jakarta with a quote from a New Englander, who had a RVF personality, I met in X2 one night. He said something close to "As far as pick up lines go you might try asking the girl what deodorant she wears because in Jakarta it doesn't matter what you say as long say something." He went on to tell me that Jakarta is the undiscovered Gem of Asia and my time there leads me to echo that sentiment. Though I have not been to other parts of Asia yet.

Also as stated above Islam will not affect you unless you feel like hitting on the girls in burkas (you won't).
