Well the Jets/Pats was a lot closer a game then I thought it would be. Tom Brady does not have the same kind of talent to throw the ball to this year. He still gets to throw it to Gisele tho... can't knock him for that.

Geno looked great till he started forcing throws in the 4th. If the Jets defense can play at the level they have played at so far, shutting down the run game, defending the pass rather well the Jets can hang around in a lot of games. Next 2 games for the Jets are pretty winnable before going to Atlanta on a Monday Night.

Geno did have some great moments. Specially for a rookie in a tough game.

Looked better then fucking Dirty Sanchez... I would take Tim Tebow over him any day. I hope for Jets fans sake that Geno gets better and becomes the Jets permanent QB. Only reason I watched the Jets games the last 2 years is to see how awful Sanchez played. Only reason I watch them this year is to see how Geno does and make sure he does enough to take Sanchez spot.

Det lions blew it. I am angry.

3 missed fgs (if you count the one with a penalty)
8 penalties
At least 6 dropped balls
Caused a sack and fumble but there was a penalty but it was negated
Bush gets hurt and we don't score a single point via offense in the 2nd half

Why can't we ever get a clean game?

Yeah, Lions blew that game. I though they had it wrapped up - I was shocked to see the fina, score.

Bears/Vikings game was the best game I've seen so far.

Seattle Seahawks (2-0) seem established as #1 team in the NFL.
Blew out San Francisco again, this time 29-3.

Richard Sherman even slapped his former college coach Jim Harbaugh on the ass.

Great day to be a Seahawks fan!

Even though this was a home win and we will have to face the 9ers on the road later in the season, it was still a statement win.

In the AFC, it's looking like the Broncos are undoubtedly the team to beat, with the other "top" AFC teams looking pretty underwhelming after two weeks. The Patriots have issues to work out. Texans are lucky to be 2-0. Ravens looking pretty average. We'll see how Cincy bounces back on Monday night. Am I missing anyone?

NFC looking pretty scary with the Seahawks, Niners (who I expect to bounce back next week), Packers (offense looking unstoppable), Falcons (another strong offense and underrated D), Saints (finally have competent defense this year), and an improved Bears team. Going to be tough to get the top seed in this conference.

Since this will probably be the Raiders only win this season, I'd like to celebrate by posting this:

Denver and Seattle are looking like the teams to beat this year...
Wes Welker going to Denver is gold for them and cat shit for New England

Although I heavily dislike the Raiders due in part to the fact the Jets hardly win when they play in Oakland, I love that song.

Miami's looking pretty darn good too.

But Denver is the team to beat. And, while I generally agree with New England's staffing decisions, letting go of Woodhead and especially Welker was completely foolish and selfish. Both are excellent safety valves who catch every ball and aren't injury prone.

It doesn't help, however, that both of New England's TEs, Hernandez and Gronkowski, are out (one indefinitely).

It's still too early to tell, but I think Atlanta is just as good Seattle.

Alright for the fantasy guys. I got Romo, Brees and Ryan. Aside from the RVF league, I am in another one with some friends. We can play 2 qbs. And we have a shit load of spots. QB, wr, wr, wr, rb, rb, te, w/t, w/r, w/r/t, q/w/r/t, pk and def.

So far 4-0. I drafted Romo at a point I thought he was a bargain but it hurt some of my depth for the other spots.

What quality of player is realistic for Romo in a trade situation? Keep in mind without 2 good QBs you can't win in this league and some guys are hurting.

Thanks!

How many teams are in your league.

Not worth much in a 8 person 2 QB league vs worth quite a bit in a 12 person QB league.

Def worth quite a bit.

I'd ask for a second tier RB/WR

Someone had to pick up a RG3/Cam Newton combo or something like that. Dudes will need help.

Speaking of fantasy, whoever is in the RVF league and not adjusting their rosters are douches. Why sign up and not even play? One dude has been starting Gronkowski all season.

As a Jets fan have to say Gino (and the team) looked pretty bad this past weekend against Tennesse. GS seems to be turning into a bit of a turnover machine. The D is ok but honestly I don't think it can carry the day it's just not good enough and the offense doesn't put enough points on the board.

I think teams will figure out how to defend Gino even more as the season goes on too. As much as I hate to say this, it actually might be time to insert Sanchez back it if they don't win over the next 2-3 games (and he gets healthier). The Titans beat the Jets in most phases of the game on Sunday even with their 2nd string quarterback playing most of the 2nd half. The schedule is not favorable to the Jets either with Atlanta next and then NE, NO, Cincy & Baltimore up later. Buffalo and Miami are pretty good teams this year too and we'd be lucky to split with those teams. Even Cleveland & Pittsburgh will be tricky games I'm sure.

Not hating just calling it like I see it. 8-8 would be a good result this year.

Chiefs looking great that over under 6.5 wins bet looking pretty good so far!

I'm all for saving boobies don't get me wrong, but doesn't any else think this pink stuff is a bit obsessive? They seemed to have added pink flags and the first down line on the tv is also pink. Who isn't aware of breast cancer at this point?
